I have a Shark but I also have a handheld Dustbuster XL and that thing gets a lot of use between full vacuums. I keep it in the coat closet by the front door so it’s grabbable at any time.

I agree with this. For the cordless vacuum, do not cheap out as the battery is crap. I bought 40 sgd was nearly useless. Less than 10 mins suction time and battery died less than a year. I went for a black and decker with a replaceable battery. The battery used in their power tool systems, a bit bulkier but at least you can swap battery packs.

I have a super basic Black and Decker Dust buster cordless hand vac. I love it. Actually my mom bought it for my son to use when he was like 4ish. He absolutely loved it, he took part in cleaning and it was actually useful. It’s still going 7 years later and we all use it. It’s very helpful for the stairs and baseboards, quick pet fur dust bunny cleanup, cracks of the sofa. I say get it, very low cost investment. And I bet there are much nicer ones than what I have, even.

Black and Decker, Dust Buster. A bit big, but works for getting the grounds on the counter and floor. Also for general kitchen small vac jobs, like when seeds are spilled on the floor, etc.

The Dyson one is really powerful but also quite expensive. The black and decker dustbuster is pretty solid and costs less than $50

That dustbuster has an extremely thin filter material, it's going to blow a lot of dust back into the air. What surfaces are you trying to clean?

No and I *highly recommend* the black and decker Dustbuster for this. I have had it for years and love it. It hits everything you’re looking for here! 1. Extra, washable filter for dust and allergens (pets) 2. Roller brush on the vacuum — I use it for my carpeted stairs and get such satisfying vacuum lines in the carpet. Great for the car too! 3. Lightweight and quick charge Mine is 4 years old and still has great suction and gets used almost daily. We use for small crumb spills, doggy hair dustballs that the roomba doesn’t get, and the car, most frequently.

Ryobi has a good one, but the black & decker dustbuster is decent too if you're trying to save money
