DeWalt’s cordless vacs aren’t good. Get either the Metabo HPT 1.6 gallon, or Ridgid 3 gallon. Use an adapter if you don’t want to get batteries. Both are about triple the power of the 2 gallon DeWalt. The Metabo even comes with on-board storage for extension tubes. The only other cordless brand that has that feature is the Bosch 2.6 gallon. I really wish DeWalt would update theirs. I was hoping something was coming after they started releasing the stealth sonic models. Imagine a cordless stealth sonic! All that being said, the DCV585 is the absolute best cordless vac on the market, but it’s $450…. I already have the flexvolt batteries, but that’s still too much for a vacuum.

I got a dewalt hepa with fine particle bag. I’m definitely vacuuming old ass stuff so best to be safe.

The 2nd can technically suck up wet stuff, but not very much. Before you realize it you’ll have sucked up too much of whatever liquid it is, then it starts spewing out the vents everywhere…. Not that I did that or anything. I’m going to buy the 2 gallon one next time I see it on sale

People love the DeWalt. I love mine. Comes with a full set of accessories, but the brush head isn't powered.

I am so disappointed with Dyson. The battery is so bad in them. I am very tempted to buy a DeWalt one so that I can get 4x longer on a single charge and swap out battery when/if it dies midway through cleaning. https://preview.redd.it/k3voem6xjacg1.png?width=255&format=png&auto=webp&s=4e4d911e09c326de2e56ab6147a5bd041a7750de

I must bite the bullet and get this. Herself complains about it more than me. I have 4 dewalt batteries always ready to go. I think this makes sense
