Never heard of this brand before today. I just picked up a Dreame Z20 for my daughter's uni apartment-it seems \*really\* well made for the price. Discounted for prime day [https://a.co/d/99ZmJRp](https://a.co/d/99ZmJRp)
Any vacuum with a spinning brushroll will get some hairwrap so my best strategy is to get a vacuum that is easy to remove the brushroll and maintain. Wider diameter brushrolls get less tight hairwrap because the circumfrence is bigger. Only vacuums without a brushroll will avoid all hairwrap but then they don't clean carpets as well. One of the problems with most Sharks is there is no way to remove the main brushroll so debris gets stuck between the brushroll, stresses the motor, and wears out the motor faster. I'd choose a LG CordZero A913BM $279, 1 battery and a charging stand. Or the LG CordZero All-in-1 Tower A931KWM $492. Both LG's have easy to clean filters, and the cyclones and brushrolls are completely removable. If I wanted a cheaper option I'd choose the Dreame Z20 $199. Just be aware the cheaper you go the shorter the batteries usually last. Really cheap batteries wear out in around 1 year, but even expensive batteries only last 2-5 years.
I agree, the best vacuum for you is the vacuum you like to use. I really like the build quality of Mieles but their cordless vacuums only have a single cyclone which means the filter will get dirty faster and need more frequent cleaning. In addition to the Miele Duoflex I'd say to keep an eye out for the Miele Triflex. The Triflex is a little heavier but you can put the motor and weight on the bottom and then it can stand up on its own. There are several Triflex around the same price as the Duoflex so always look for the best deals. My usual recommended cordless vacuums the LG CordZero and Samsung Jet are way more expensive in Canada, really pricing them over the competition. I'd check out the Dreame Z20 $229 CAD. I like that Dreame's vacuums have removable batteries, multi-cyclonic separation, and led headlights on both powerheads. It isn't as well built as the Mieles but they're much cheaper and have 2 filters, 1 washable and 1 pleated filter. While they say you can wash the pleated filter I wouldn't. Most fine dust and hepa filters are degraded by water. There's also a Dreame Z20 Station which has a self-emptying base.
I always recommend looking for removable and replaceable batteries, a multi-cyclonic separator, and easy-to-clean bin and filters. The LG and Samsung cordless vacuums which I usually recommend are more expensive in Canada so I'd look at the Dreame Z20 $229 CAD. It has a removable battery, multi-cyclonic, easy to clean filters (I'd wash the fabric filter but I wouldn't wash the pleated filter), led headlights on both powerheads. It looks a lot better than the no-name brands but I still don't think it will last super long, I think it will last probably 2-3 years. Many of the cheaper cordless vacuums have fake bumps that look like multiple cyclones on the outside but they are just single cyclones on the inside. Most cheap batteries last 1 year and many mid-priced and even expensive batteries last 2-3 years. Dyson is famous for the more you use boost mode the shorter the lifespan.
I agree with flatdirection, KPA is a pretty useless number thrown around cordless vacuums. Pretty similar to HP on a shop vacuum, it makes it sound better without having to be better. For cordless vacuums it needs to have removable/replaceable batteries because they're the most likely problem area. And you want an easy to clean bin design and decent filter. Sometimes there's an LG CordZero or Samsung Jet under $200 so always look for those first. Otherwise check out the Dreame Z20 $169. It has a removable battery, multi-cyclonic, and easy to clean filters. Dreame has basic replacement parts available, battery, brushroll, and filters. Downside is customer service isn't great, but most cordless vacuum companies are giving their customer the run around. I also recommend checking out the Kenmore Intuition BU3040 (no lift-up) and BU4020 (with lift-up) both are $149. These are both small corded upright vacuums. If you want powerful suction these corded vacuums will blow away any cordless vacuum. They are as narrow as a cordless vacuum, they have swivel steering, and hepa bags that last around 2 months per bag. The 30 ft cords make them much easier to use than cheap corded vacuums that have really short cords. The BU3040 (no lift-up) is a little lighter. The BU4020 (with lift-up) is popular if you want to vacuum stairs or upholstery. Downsides are they are just average durability for the price. Corded vacuums over $200 that are bigger start to be more durable.

We got a Dreame stickvac as the robovac was so good, and it was cheap on sale. I almost got a Shark but I tried one in the store and it was too heavy and bulky for how little use it would get.
Don't buy a Dreame. Ours dies as soon as it seen one piece of hay.
Had a dyson v6 for 2 years before the battery died. Decided to buy a cheap $200 xiaomi dreame something... its been going strong for 4 years. Nowhere near as powerful, but it does the job!
