I've had the Z30 for a few months now, after having the Dyson V10 which was on its last legs and barely picked up any dust anymore, and whose bin attachment was starting to break. I bought the Z30 and I'm very happy with it. Its main drawback is its weight; it's very heavy compared to my old Dyson. And I also miss the wall mount with the charger integrated. I would also have liked to have an app for updates or to facilitate resetting after cleaning the main filter. Personally, the difference in auto mode compared to my old dyson is so significant that it suits me perfectly, One drawback, though, is the lighting; I feel like my house is twice as dirty as it was before, lol, with the light I had on the Dyson, I didn't see as much dust.
The Z30 would honestly feel like a big upgrade from a Dyson V6 — both in suction and usability. Dreame’s motor tech has come a long way since the early stick vacs; the Z30 hits around **300 AW of suction** (roughly double your V6) and handles hair and carpets better thanks to the improved torque brush and anti-tangle design. Build quality is solid, and everything detaches easily for cleaning — bin, roller, filters, even the tube. Battery life is around 60 minutes on eco, 20 ish on turbo, so not quite LG-dual-battery levels, but still good for a 60 m² flat. The LG has the extra battery edge and Samsung packs more attachments, but in pure cleaning power and handling, the **Z30 is the best performer** of the three. It’s a strong “Dyson-without-the-Dyson-tax” option, especially at 300 €.
The Levoit is popular because it's very affordable but I think it has some handling drawbacks. Sharks spend the most money on their marketing, but they strategically build obsolescence. I'd look at the LG CordZero Q3 $199 and the Dreame Z30 $199. They both have removable batteries and an easy to clean bin and filter. LG makes some of the better batteries. Thoughts?
LG's standard combo powerhead doesn't have gaps to pickup large debris. The LG CordZero Q3 has a dual brushroll powerhead with a soft brushroll in the front. I think Dreame is one of the better Chinese brands.
I bought it today directly from Dreamed store for 299€ and I will try it myself to check how it works in auto mode and the others. I am using a Roidmi X20 but the motorized head stopped working before 7 years of use.

Hi! Just tested the vacuum today having more dust and dirt to check it better. For me it's a really good vacuum. It works well, the light is really good to see the dust and it looks like everything gets sucked in one strike. The power in auto mode for me is very good, I don't have any carpet then I don't care about the functions for it, so I didn't tested that way. Points for improvement/rejections: - No charging base or wall mount: charging is directly using the charger plug into the body of the vacuum. A wall mount with the charge should be mandatory. - No app: for me it's interesting to have an app with the possibility to update the firmware, here you can't in any way. It comes with the firmware you will have forever. The screen gives you technical info, battery level, and the mode your are using, but anything more, it only gives you the option to reset the filter inside the body, but nothing more... - Materials: I don't know about it's lasting, but visually they are cheaper than a Dyson or other brands, BUT, I guess this is more a feeling with the "premium" brands than a real durability matter. Also it makes the accessories cheaper so you can buy another with not so much cost. - Auto mode: I had no problems here using it, but... YES, you will feel its laziness when it detects more dust. But for me it is like a characteristic of the vacuum, it works, but you should be aware of it to obtain the best results of this vacuum. If you use the vacuum quickly you will lose some of the power ups, but the good notice for me is that, even with the "lag" the dirt gets cleaned in one wipe, so for me is not really a problem. Recap: very powerful vacuum, full of accessories, very good light detector, very good filtration, comfortable to hold, easy to use for everybody. I hope it will help you ;)
1. Tineco - I'm lost in their models for different markets. Which is just good? The major cons for me are accessories - poor design, 2-in-1, or 3-in-1 tool impossible to use. I hate when I can chose from Eco, Auto and MAX only - give me Medium. Who needs this auto, which works fine on Dyson's only? 2. Roborock - for robots no doubt. But for cordless sticks? The flagship H60 ultra - is it a joke? Floor head from past century, to empty dust bin you need to take everything off. 3. Xiaomi - looks all cheap and super simple, poor battery life in all modes. 4. Dreamtech - Z30? Z30 Ultra? Z40? No, no, no.... Just check real tests. I'm looking for the new Cordless stick and I'm lost. I don't see the alternatives to a Dyson, but Dyson - too many questions - so it's more NO, than YES to the Dyson.
We got a Dreame stickvac as the robovac was so good, and it was cheap on sale. I almost got a Shark but I tried one in the store and it was too heavy and bulky for how little use it would get.
Don't buy a Dreame. Ours dies as soon as it seen one piece of hay.
