Big Ball Absolute

I bought a Dyson Big Ball Animal Canister a few years back. Smart solutions at the joints, but besides that not great and pain to empty and clean. I got frustrated and threw it to the garbage, pledged not to buy anything Dyson ever and got myself a Siren with water filter.

My stick vacuum is the worst. I got a Dyson Big Ball canister vacuum because I can’t afford the fancy ones. I have two dogs and two feral children and it is the bomb. I know Dyson gets hated in, but honestly I really like it for what I need it for.

I got a hand me down V6 Motörhead from a friend who was too lazy to buy a new battery. Bought a cheap one on Amazon and it's lasted me 5-6 years with no trouble until recently the brush has stopped spinning. Have not had a chance to troubleshoot yet, so I can't say if it's an easy fix or needs replacing . I will definitely buy one, but I'll buy a refurbished one at a discounted price. I will also add I have always had a more powerful corded vacuum as well. The cordless is just for convenience between the deep cleans. I had a Dyson DC 07 for over 20 years and just bought a Dyson Big Ball canister on sale for $200. Sucks great, but not sure I'll ever get used to the canister. Time will tell.

Cordless: Dyson v12 (it’s small and uses a button power system, easy to manoeuvre) / Dyson gen5 (it’s normal size, uses a power button system and had a built in crevice and dusting brush combo). Thats bad, but all of my dysons are nice and haven’t needed repair yet, I would definitely buy another Dyson ball, or cordless. This just sounds like horrible luck but do you vacuum and fill the bin all the way to the top before emptying it?

Buy the dyson bigball. I have it. After extensive research, i opted for a wired one. Cordless looks good on paper but you are mostly going to use it on floor only. Plus it is heavy to pick up and clean curtains etc. just go and have a demo of dyson bigball.

I just bought my second Dyson for our upstairs and we love it. The Big Ball vacuum was on sale for under $250 and it even has a dog grooming attachment I use on our golden retriever. Works great. Better than our older Dyson stick. I'd say if you want a Dyson that won't completely obliterate your bank account, give the Big Ball a try.
