I have the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Pro Canister. Works great!

I love my Dyson Cinetic canister, but I don’t think you can get them anymore. I hated my last Kenmore because it didn’t take standard accessories. At least the Dyson has available adapters for cheap! And the suction is amazing.

I wonder this as well. I have had lots of brands over the years, but not a Miele or Riccar. My favorite is my Dyson Cinetic canister. The suction is so much stronger than anything I have ever used. I have been using it for about 8 years now. Hopefully it never dies as they don’t make it anymore. For quick pickup of cat fur and liter I use a Tineco S1 stick.

My stick vacuum is the worst. I got a Dyson Big Ball canister vacuum because I can’t afford the fancy ones. I have two dogs and two feral children and it is the bomb. I know Dyson gets hated in, but honestly I really like it for what I need it for.

I got a hand me down V6 Motƶrhead from a friend who was too lazy to buy a new battery. Bought a cheap one on Amazon and it's lasted me 5-6 years with no trouble until recently the brush has stopped spinning. Have not had a chance to troubleshoot yet, so I can't say if it's an easy fix or needs replacing . I will definitely buy one, but I'll buy a refurbished one at a discounted price. I will also add I have always had a more powerful corded vacuum as well. The cordless is just for convenience between the deep cleans. I had a Dyson DC 07 for over 20 years and just bought a Dyson Big Ball canister on sale for $200. Sucks great, but not sure I'll ever get used to the canister. Time will tell.

For the hard floors on the 1st floor my partner literally uses a small rigid shop vac lol holds a ton of hair and debris. Upstairs we have carpet and I use a dyson big ball canister vac

Ok so firstly, never buy a shark. They’re some of the worst vacuums in the long run and break easily also shark bins are super small. If you want a Dyson corded, they sell the ball origin and the ball animal (discontinued on Dyson’s website) for Ā£250-Ā£300 so a little over budget. I personally prefer Dysons as bagless uprights as they’re super powerful and easy to use. The only downside is that they’re a little heavy compared to most vacuums. If there is anything else specific or of your not willing to get the Dysons because you don’t like the reviews or design or price just let me know in a reply.

Canister vacuum: Dyson cinetic big ball (no maintainance) / Dyson big ball (filter to maintain) Both have hygienic bin emptying (your finger doesnt go near the waste disposal area) It’s easy to reach around due to the extendable wand. Upright: Dyson ball upright vacuum (any) theyre easy to maintain, they have hygienic bin emptying, and they have a long wand on the back thats easy to use with the on board tools. Cordless: Dyson v12 (it’s small and uses a button power system, easy to manoeuvre) / Dyson gen5 (it’s normal size, uses a power button system and had a built in crevice and dusting brush combo). Both have hygienic bin emptying

Thats bad, but all of my dysons are nice and haven’t needed repair yet, I would definitely buy another Dyson ball, or cordless. This just sounds like horrible luck but do you vacuum and fill the bin all the way to the top before emptying it?

I purchased the drag along ball model one like 10 years ago for pets. It was like $350 or something, and was a terrible vacuum. It would barely suck up pet hair on a bare floor, pretty much had to drive over the hair, and even that didn’t work sometimes .

I know that’s not how you want to spend your time but just giving some insight. Stick vacuums are also not intended to be the sole vacuum (not sure if you’re using it as such) especially with carpet. I have a Dyson corded: the ball canister that I LOVE and the regular upright yellow one that I love but it’s a little heavy. I’ve also owned the shark rotator vacuum that was good for a while and then I didn’t love and have the cordless shark that I actually really like and is easier to clean. Check Rebel Stork to see if they have mieles for cheaper. They’re returned products so some of them are new and some are used you just have to read the description.
