I love my Dyson Cinetic canister, but I donāt think you can get them anymore. I hated my last Kenmore because it didnāt take standard accessories. At least the Dyson has available adapters for cheap! And the suction is amazing.
I wonder this as well. I have had lots of brands over the years, but not a Miele or Riccar. My favorite is my Dyson Cinetic canister. The suction is so much stronger than anything I have ever used. I have been using it for about 8 years now. Hopefully it never dies as they donāt make it anymore. For quick pickup of cat fur and liter I use a Tineco S1 stick.
I have a Dyson with the ball design from like 2013, it was around $300-400 and itās still going strong. My only complaint is itās big and we now have more hardwood floors where we used to have carpet. It is just bulky but it works really great, itās been used to clean at least weekly or more than that for all these years.
I purchased the drag along ball model one like 10 years ago for pets. It was like $350 or something, and was a terrible vacuum. It would barely suck up pet hair on a bare floor, pretty much had to drive over the hair, and even that didnāt work sometimes .
I know thatās not how you want to spend your time but just giving some insight. Stick vacuums are also not intended to be the sole vacuum (not sure if youāre using it as such) especially with carpet. I have a Dyson corded: the ball canister that I LOVE and the regular upright yellow one that I love but itās a little heavy. Iāve also owned the shark rotator vacuum that was good for a while and then I didnāt love and have the cordless shark that I actually really like and is easier to clean. Check Rebel Stork to see if they have mieles for cheaper. Theyāre returned products so some of them are new and some are used you just have to read the description.
We've had a Dyson cinetic ball for about 5 years and it's awful. I've seen posts about Miele and sebo but theirs look like it's all $1000+? Are there any decent vacuums around $600??
Find the vacuum that you like best (Miele, Shark, etc) and search Marketplace. I found an old Dyson in the trash, cleaned off the rollers and it worked for years - I gave it away last year so itās probably still working. LOL Then found a Dyson canister (pull-along type) on marketplace for $100 and itās worked fine for the year that Iāve had it.
