I grew up with a DC15, which is basically just a DC14 with the first “ball” steering system It was a ripper of a vacuum, I ended up with it eventually; my family got maybe 15 years in total out of this vac? I replaced it with a new Dyson upright and I’ve never fucking hated a vacuum cleaner so much in my life! I have a Miele now
Their early models perform much better than current offerings; if they restarted production of the DC07 or DC14/15, I’d totally buy one! Wouldn’t even consider a current Dyson though; the stark contrast in quality between a DC15 and UP16 is blatantly obvious, favouring the older model.
I’ve had my Dyson Dc15 Pet for more than 20 years. It’s still going strong, and it’s easy to replace the parts.
I have the big Dyson pet vacuum. It’s a full corded standup vacuum. It’s hefty but works really well. I also have this little hair removal tool that I use on the stairs and the high traffic/sleeping spots. https://a.co/d/a9AfhFK
Had a Dyson roller ball. It was absolute shit compared to the shark navigator I have now. Can’t speak for the super high end ones. But shark beats Dyson and it’s not close.
I used a dyson and once I got used to it I love it tbh. My house is only 96sqm so I put it on full blast and it does the job. I do appreciate its a pain in the hole if there is something a legacy cleaner would deal with. If I had more space in gaff I migjt have went for a Henry. I am mostly commenting because my mob is shite and need to get something better myself 😅
I think it just takes a but of getting used to. Like the first few times I used it if there was a small peace of plastic.or paper on the ground my old Henry would eat it right up but the Dyson goes on strike 😅. Once you make that adjustment I find it class. Light weight, easy to use and with mod houses its so easy to store as well.
Dyson are an utter rip off. I sympathise completely with you. Used to own one and I felt I’d have to do two rounds of the house to get it clean. Go for a Miele, they are cheaper and significantly better.
Mi is gondolkodtunk a philipsen, de az eladó le beszélt róla, mert szerviz igényesek nagyon..igy maradt a dyson..abszolút nem bántuk meg
It’s simple. Dyson is made from extremely cheap plastic parts. Their customer service is some of the worst in the industry. Lastly, when you want to have ur Dyson fixed, most places won’t touch them bc Dyson wants to be dealt with directly. So everything is a lot harder than it has to be with Dyson. I had an upright and the parts were super cheap. Like some of the lowest quality plastics on any vacuum. Only had it for maybe 5-6 years before it finally died on me. I’ll be going with a Sebo next.
I had an upright Dyson which died on me. I wasn’t a fan considering the price point and the cheap plastics they use for it. I just purchased a Sebo D4 and it’s no comparison. I have carpet and hardwood so the Sebo does both with ease. It has a powerhead for carpets as well as multiple attachments that are stored right on the machine. The motor has a 10 year warranty and it has a lot of suction power. I also like the bag capacity too since I have dogs that shed so I can vacuum my two-story house without having to constantly empty a cannister or bag. I’m impressed with it so far.
