"I use the bagged canister design for the whole house and for every mess. Even pet hair."
"Sebo vacs with the ET-1 nozzle (adjustable suction, manual carpet height adjustment) ... Adjustable carpet height paired with adjustable suction are must have features for those types of carpet, but I like them for any type of carpet. ... to get a vacuum movable on that type of carpet, the suction has to be turned down, carpet height adjusted, and/or the suction has to be redirected through an airflow vent valve on the nozzle, to relieve some of the pressure."
"Does great on tile, wood, and carpet."

"Does fantastic with dog hair."
"it's designed so well, it's a joy to vacuum 2x daily (concrete floors/live at the beach with a long-haired GSD, I vacuum constantly)."
"it's a dream/works so well. ... I am shocked (kinda disgusted at times!) at how much it picks up."

"The self cleaning rollers are the highest selling point for me (every vacuum I ever owned before this broke because I couldn’t keep up on the hair wrapped around the brush)"
"It has a little comb inside that basically stops all hair tangles around the roller"
"The single only humidifier thats easy to keep clean since the important part is dishwasher safe."

"dustbin clogs of fur where there’s empty spaces on the side due to an inefficient dustbin design"
"One thing I’ll add is that it needs dust emptying much more frequently than other robots because its dust bin is smaller than typical."

I used a dyson and once I got used to it I love it tbh. My house is only 96sqm so I put it on full blast and it does the job. I do appreciate its a pain in the hole if there is something a legacy cleaner would deal with. If I had more space in gaff I migjt have went for a Henry. I am mostly commenting because my mob is shite and need to get something better myself 😅
r/AskIreland • What vacuum cleaners do people recommend? ->I think it just takes a but of getting used to. Like the first few times I used it if there was a small peace of plastic.or paper on the ground my old Henry would eat it right up but the Dyson goes on strike 😅. Once you make that adjustment I find it class. Light weight, easy to use and with mod houses its so easy to store as well.
r/AskIreland • What vacuum cleaners do people recommend? ->Dyson are an utter rip off. I sympathise completely with you. Used to own one and I felt I’d have to do two rounds of the house to get it clean. Go for a Miele, they are cheaper and significantly better.
r/AskIreland • What vacuum cleaners do people recommend?
->It’s simple. Dyson is made from extremely cheap plastic parts. Their customer service is some of the worst in the industry. Lastly, when you want to have ur Dyson fixed, most places won’t touch them bc Dyson wants to be dealt with directly. So everything is a lot harder than it has to be with Dyson. I had an upright and the parts were super cheap. Like some of the lowest quality plastics on any vacuum. Only had it for maybe 5-6 years before it finally died on me. I’ll be going with a Sebo next.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum money can buy? ->I had an upright Dyson which died on me. I wasn’t a fan considering the price point and the cheap plastics they use for it. I just purchased a Sebo D4 and it’s no comparison. I have carpet and hardwood so the Sebo does both with ease. It has a powerhead for carpets as well as multiple attachments that are stored right on the machine. The motor has a 10 year warranty and it has a lot of suction power. I also like the bag capacity too since I have dogs that shed so I can vacuum my two-story house without having to constantly empty a cannister or bag. I’m impressed with it so far.
r/VacuumCleaners • What's the Best Vacuum Cleaner in 2025?
->Dyson plug in upright , i hate these Henry type things you have to drag around and are to use and dont suck up stuff easily
r/AskUK • Which hoover would you choose and why? ->Right? I'll grant you some other brands that are underpowered. But Dyson? Dysons are great. I got one as a wedding gift like 14 years ago and it was an amazing vacuum. So much so that I bought another to replace it without even batting an eye at the price. The Dyson was still going strong but the battery was toast and I couldn't get a replacement. I'm not opposed to the idea of an EGO vacuum either. If it was good I'd probably buy it. But Dyson is legit awesome.
r/egopowerplus • I'd love to see an Ego Vacuum cleaner ->I’m scared to even say this but I use sharks for my housekeeping business and I love them. I also used OLD OLD Dyson uprights (not balls) and I will still reach for those for dirty jobs because I love how easy they are to take apart. One of my clients has a Miele and I hate it. I am much more efficient with my sharks and dysons. And yeah I just clean them regularly
r/VacuumCleaners • Bought a Shark and it’s incredible!! ->Also have a corgi! I use a Sladust Big Wooly dust mop to sweep the hard wood daily. I shake it out on my area rug and have a Dyson DC40 to vacuum the hair off the rug, it works great! I am a big fan of Sladust and The Wool Shop products for dry mopping pet hair!
r/VacuumCleaners • Pet hair vacuum for hard wood and large rugs ->We had the Dyson Ball vacuum (corded) and absolutely hated it. It worked terrible, was heavy and just wasn't good. We did regular maintenance on it too. It just was crap. Since then, we've replaced it with shark vacs. We keep one on each floor of the house so we don't have to continually carry them up and down stairs. They work great. I also recently got a handheld cordless shark vac and it is AWESOME. We have some awkward spaces in our home that a vacuum never really fit in so the cordless hand vac does the job. With 4 cat, I vacuum regularly. I use a Fuller hoky (manual sweeper) daily and it works great too!
r/CleaningTips • Are Dyson vacuums worth it? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
