"I think its hands down the best all around option right now, especially once you hook it up to the water line and drain, i run it daily in our house and we got rid of our cleaning help because of it."
"I have an even thicker rug than this and my Curv has no issues ... It's the reason I bought mine because I have an even thicker rug than that and no robot could even climb onto it"
"I found that it was even able to get up caked on Kitty vomit if I simply sprayed those areas with cleaning vinegar beforehand. ... I was pleasantly surprised."

"when hardwired with their power kit the parking mode never misses a motion event."
"We have four roborock S7’s running in our 5,000 sqft office. ... Bought them since they first came out years ago. ... They run every day. ... Only last year did we replace the battery for all 4. ... Other than that, no issue at all, rock solid, very pleased that we also have them for our homes too."
"My Roborock S7 does about 2,000 sqft twice a week since 2021, and it's still going strong"

"I live in a 2700 square foot cookie-cutter tract house. First floor is laminate with an office that has carpet. Then there’s the stairs which leads to 5 carpeted bedrooms, two tile bathrooms, a laundry room, and a walk-in carpeted closet. I can get all of that done one charge."
"being cordless and effective for what I need. ... For some the tradeoff for cordless, no bags, good suction, etal means we vacuum more than we otherwise would. ... I never would have thought I'd defend a near $1,000 cordless vacuum but I got one as a gift and will never buy anything different now."
"One thing I really love is how it came with two batteries. ... Never have I ran out of a charge."

"The no bag is a feature for some of us not a defect. ... I dont make a mess emptying it vs making a mess swapping bags - cause I overfill it. That's a me thing but it's a consistent me thing and I dont have to worry about it with the Dyson."
"it doesn’t have a bag"
"Why is no bags a bad thing? ... if you have an easy way to go outside like the garage, then emptying a cannister isn't hard at all. ... You don't have to replace bags or worry about them running out. ... I don't like the thought of having an additional part to replace constantly and don't want to go through the effort of stocking up bags. ... God forbid you're out of bags unexpectedly when vacuuming."

"About a year and the right bud would last about 15 minutes on a full charge."
"I've had them for a few years and now the battery doesn't last for more than 40 mins, so looking for a different model."
"An almost new pair I wore in a mountain 100 was dead after the race. ... It was all stretched out and even had a hole in the side when it wasn't that crazy technical of terrain."

"I have KEF Q150 with a 150 euro amp. They sound drastically better than a Sonos Move 2. They're different products but for the same price you have way better sound, it's not even close."
"costing $1000-$1200, respectively ... can't, in good faith, recommend a high-end Garmin to anyone who isn't rich"
"Addressing the Move, it’s a nice speaker and overpriced for what it does. ... I feel $250-300 is really what it should cost. ... If I reviewed it, it would get hammered on its value."

"the amount of dog hair / ETC it can get out of the carpet vs the Dyson Cordless cannot be compared."
"the cordless Dyson isn’t that great for carpet/rugs ... I have the old school Dyson Ball vacuum cleaner and it’s sooo much better for rugs"
"The other head without the spinner is fucking ridiculously strong. ... I cannot vacuum a rug with it because it sucks so hard. ... I have to hold one side down with my foot and pull away and it's still hard haha."

"replacing a vacuum that died (Dyson) ... I will have probably bought 2-3 dysons in that time period"
"The Dyson battery was internal so you can't swap out a battery if it dies on you."
"I’ve had one for my V8 and it’s lasted longer than the oem now, plus it is a lather capacity battery too."

"hair gets wrapped around the tiny wheels very easily and it’s a huge PITA to remove. ... After about a year the wheels stop turning entirely. ... DONT BUY IT."
I’ve had 2 Dyson stick vacs break and honestly the manufacturing seems to get cheaper not better. Just switched to shark and happy so far but when you’re in the $400 range you are buying a short term vacuum anyhow.
r/CleaningTips • Are Dyson vacuums really worth it? V11 is now under $400 and I'm tempted ->Yes. I use my cordless Dyson daily for small messes and use it as my main vacuum. It’s so convenient. I love it. I also got it on sale at Costco.
r/homemaking • Are cordless vacuums worth it? Have 2 kids under 3 years old, 1 story house ->Yes, being cordless and effective for what I need. They have HEPA filters, at least mine does. The no bag is a feature for some of us not a defect. It's all a tradeoff. For some the tradeoff for cordless, no bags, good suction, etal means we vacuum more than we otherwise would. I dont make a mess emptying it vs making a mess swapping bags - cause I overfill it. That's a me thing but it's a consistent me thing and I dont have to worry about it with the Dyson. I never would have thought I'd defend a near $1,000 cordless vacuum but I got one as a gift and will never buy anything different now.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Same - Though Reddit seems to hate them. We got a Shark as a gift, lasted 1 year. They replaced it for free. Lasted about 2 years. We’ve had the same Dyson stick over 10 years with no issues. A charge doesn’t last long as long as it used to, but suction is still excellent. I can save you the trouble, Reddit will recommend you buy a $1300 corded Miele/Sebu. If God forbid you must have a cordless, $1000 Miele or $200 shark. I just don’t think it’s worth it for something where the bar is “does it get my floors clean?”. It reminds of certain hobbies like Mountain Biking where anything other than enthusiast-level ($$$$) is ‘junk’. Okay but I had fun riding my ‘junk’ the last decade while saving 8K. PC gaming, too - nobody has enjoyed a game with 12GB of VRAM, apparently.
r/CleaningTips • Are Dyson vacuums really worth it? V11 is now under $400 and I'm tempted ->Don’t know how often you’d use or charge yours but after having to replace the battery on my Dyson twice when it died the third time I got a black and decker instead - swappable battery means there’s no wait for recharge an I don’t need a place to plug it in - I also had a ton of the batteries for other tools already. Oh, and it works great for a cordless stick, as well as the Dyson did an we use it on floors and rugs (still use an upright on the thick pile rugs weekly but it does the job for a quick tidy on them)
r/Cleaningandtidying • Stay-at-home mom here: which cordless vacuum is actually worth it? ->My Dyson has a Los screen with battery time left. It will warn you with 5 min left and even count down
r/CleaningTips • Vacuuming my house every day has changed my life ! 💝 ->With the dyson stick cordless, the battery can be replaced. We did so on ours after 8ish years and it is like new.
r/Cleaningandtidying • Stay-at-home mom here: which cordless vacuum is actually worth it? ->When our battery started to go I had no idea it could be replaced. Needless to say I was very excited, lol
r/Cleaningandtidying • Stay-at-home mom here: which cordless vacuum is actually worth it? ->My husband ordered and exchanged it. I dont recall it being a pain in the ass. There seems to be 2 screws.
r/Cleaningandtidying • Stay-at-home mom here: which cordless vacuum is actually worth it? ->I have the rechargeable #2 on the list Dyson stick and I LOVE IT! If you have carpeted stairs, it’s no challenge dealing with those. I live in a 2700 square foot cookie-cutter tract house. First floor is laminate with an office that has carpet. Then there’s the stairs which leads to 5 carpeted bedrooms, two tile bathrooms, a laundry room, and a walk-in carpeted closet. I can get all of that done one charge.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->So overwhelmed with all the options. I currently have a Dyson Gen5detect and it's fine I guess, but I feel like it misses so much dust and cat litter. Looking for a corded vacuum with lots of suction. We do have some medium pile carpet, but really looking for something that aces on hard surfaces (wood, laminate, vinyl). My budget is around $600ish.
r/VacuumCleaners • So Overwhelmed - Best for Hard Floors/Cat Litter? ->I have one of the cordless animal dysons… it fills up insanely fast and I have to empty countless times when I vacuum, but I keep up with cleaning all parts and pieces and haven’t had any issues!
r/husky • Best vacuum for husky owners? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
