Gen5outsize

I use the Dyson, Gen5 outsize. This is what I had before getting our girl and it does a good job.. it’s also practical to vacuum the hair out of the car. But I would truly recommend a Shark Upright Vac, those things truly do an amazing job picking up dog hair 🐕

Idk I’ve had Dysons since I’ve been a home owner- my v11 still works great at 4years old and I just upgraded to the gen5outsize (have a bigger house now) and it’s fantastic- for reference I have 5 animals one being a husky and I vacuum everyday - never had issues with either model - as long as you clean them / filter i definitely think they are worth the price point

I have a Dyson stick vac. It came with a soft head for wood floors and a rotating brush for carpeted areas.

I have a Dyson Gen5outsize Absolute and it's amazing. I use it on the bed too since she likes to lay up there. It came with a free pet grooming kit you can attach to the vacuum so when you brush them the hair gets sucked up at the same time. I know you said you didn't want to spend too much but definitely worth the investment.

i’ve owned and abused my Dyson v11 torque drive. never gave me any issues. recently bought the dyson gen 5 outsize. it’s way bigger and heavier than my old dyson. moving it on carpet can be difficult if you can’t figure out the angle at which it works best. both my dyson filters are Hepa certified and although it blows air from the top, it doesn’t release particulates into ur house. so ur allergies must be from ur house still being dirty. get a air purifier and vacuum more often. i love my dyson and would never get anything other than it. works perfect for my use case. you may need a self propelled cordless vacuum. those are expensive if they even exist and if they do, they are most likely corded
