I have been using dyson omniglide for 3 years now(it's discontinued now i guess). It's the most slim and light weight version available. But all these are to be done manually by us. If you need regular cleaning for floors robot vacuum does a good job, provided we put atleast in the 50k+ range with good suction power. If Manual clenaing is the choice, so many brands are now available. But I can only vouch for Dyson. Any thing goes wrong within warranty the specific part will be fully replaced or even the entire machine sometimes. Their service is so good. If light weight is the priority try with v12 slim. If raw power is a priority consider other models(v8,v11 etc) but so does the weight that comes with it. At times it feels heavier on long usage time. Also there might a model named "pencil" released in future, if you're okay to wait for it.

Numatic Henry! Wat een topding! We hebben ook zo’n trendy Dyson stofzuiger, maar dat is gewoon best irritant

Ryobi’s parent company also owns Hoover. I think the future of cordless vacuums is going to look a lot more like the power tool model. One battery platform, many tools. The Dyson model of one battery (which may or may not be in stock on our website), one vacuum is obsolete.

We use our cordless vacuum just for the hardwood floors and tiles. We used a bagged, corded vacuum to clean area rugs. If I run the Dyson stick over the rugs, I can run the 12 amp Hoover after and still suck up a bunch of dog fur the Dyson missed.

With the dyson stick cordless, the battery can be replaced. We did so on ours after 8ish years and it is like new.

When our battery started to go I had no idea it could be replaced. Needless to say I was very excited, lol

My husband ordered and exchanged it. I dont recall it being a pain in the ass. There seems to be 2 screws.

Depends on the situation as well. When I lived in a condo with hard floors the Dyson was great. Now that we live in a bigger house with a lot of carpet, wed have to charge it twice just to do the basement decently. Also had to warranty/purchase knockoff parts 5 items in the 6 years we've had it. Still great for small areas though

Had Dyson fail every 3 years. Got divorced. Fixed up one with a drill battery adapter. Got a lot more power and duration out of the Dyson. My new house I had the ryobi tools and purchased the ryobi stick vacuum. The model up from base. Freaking great!  If youve got a battery system for your tools see if they do a stick vacuum for in the house.

Having owned two Dysons, I can't say I recommend them. They're not built very well and the performance generally leaves a lot to be desired, versus a traditional bagged upright or canister. Cordless stick vacs should really only be considered for small quick cleanup jobs. They're not very effective for whole-home stuff and the dust bin capacity is gonna be really limited. I really advise AGAINST buying one of these if it'll be your ONLY vacuum. As others, Miele and Sebo (the bagged ones) are really the go-tos for regular use vacuums. They perform much better and they'll last longer, but the upfront cost is higher. Kenmore would be a decent alternative brand if budget is a concern.

Dyson cordless stick vacuum makes this chore so much easier. Best $ I’ve spent in a long time

I use my Dyson stick vacuum everyday. It’s a workhorse. I bought it on sale for $350. The other cheaper brands were $180 and died after two years and had cracked plastic parts. The Dyson is still going strong
