Omni-glide™

I have been using dyson omniglide for 3 years now(it's discontinued now i guess). It's the most slim and light weight version available. But all these are to be done manually by us. If you need regular cleaning for floors robot vacuum does a good job, provided we put atleast in the 50k+ range with good suction power. If Manual clenaing is the choice, so many brands are now available. But I can only vouch for Dyson. Any thing goes wrong within warranty the specific part will be fully replaced or even the entire machine sometimes. Their service is so good. If light weight is the priority try with v12 slim. If raw power is a priority consider other models(v8,v11 etc) but so does the weight that comes with it. At times it feels heavier on long usage time. Also there might a model named "pencil" released in future, if you're okay to wait for it.

I got one of the Dyson stick vacuums where you can change the head and neck. It's expensive but I needed the convenience, I love it

I love my Shark vacs! Even more than my purple (fave color) Dyson. I do have a Kirby, too, but it’s a monster. It’s not super easy to change the attachments. I keep it downstairs for heavy cleaning, but use my Shark and attachments downstairs for the corners, steps, etc.

We have a German Shepherd Collie mix, and he sheds so much! We also had a white cat that shed a lot of visible hair. The hair becomes tumbleweeds on the floor. We purchased a robot vacuum that runs once a day, and we also have a Dyson with a special, fluffy brush designed to pick up pet hair. It's amazing! We also have a big lint roller brush that is not the plastic one, it's like velcro and picks up any fur on you or furniture. The dog sleeps on the bed with us, so I lint roll it once a day! If you have carpets, get a soapy bucket and rubber gloves and scrape the glove over the carpets or use a brush, it's amazing for getting rid of a lot of inbedded hair. Try that at least once a month. My vyměnili klasický vysavač od ETA za tyčový Dyson. Dyson nemá ani polovinu sacího výkonu, co měla ETA a přitom nám celý byt vysaje mnohem lépe. Rozhodně se ke klasice už nikdy nevrátím. Baterie je plně dostačující na naše 3+1 se 74 m2, z čehož máme dvě místnosti s kobercem (tam to žere baterii mnohem více), kdy nám po vysátí zbývá asi 25 %, takže je pravda, že na nějaký rodinný dům bych s tím váhal, ale neoznačoval bych to za hračku - to by se za hračku dalo označit vše, co není profesionální průmyslový vysavač.
