Hey there! With two dogs and hardwood floors, I'd recommend checking out the Dyson V11 Animal. It's super lightweight and handles pet hair like a champ! Plus, it works great on both hardwood and carpets. It might be a bit above your budget, but it's totally worth it for keeping things clean and tidy! 🐶✨

I love my Dyson V11 Animal. It has withstood the past 5 years of weekly use against golden retriever, various foster dogs, and cat hair.

The leap from shark to Dyson for us was almost unbelievable. It just picks up so much more dust than the shark ever could, especially from carpets. I have a dog so that stronger suction was much appreciated! I’ll eventually get an even better one, my mom worked as a housekeeper for millionaires and she swears by Miele

We have the v11 animal - going on five years now and I won’t be upset if it breaks lol

My experience with Dyson was not good. Purchased 4 from Costco. One battery failure, one canister seal broke after a month. The laser fluffy head was taking the finish off some of the beveled edges of my less than 2 year old hardwood floors. Looking at other cordless, none of them had a brush head I would trust with my wood floors. My other vacs are a very old but reliable Electrolux Epic 8000, and a newly purchased Sebo K3. The floor brushes with horsehair bristles are the only thing I can trust to not damage my hickory floors. Or a swiffer.

For a household with two dogs, the Dyson V11 Animal could be a fantastic option. It's lightweight, cordless, and designed for pet hair, making it easy to use on both hardwood and carpets. If you're open to robot vacuums, the iRobot Roomba i7+ might be worth considering too!

The last two dysons I got (an 8 and an 11 animal) were terrible. I used to swear by Dysons! The viral tineco from Amazon was even worse. Landed on the shark rocket just to get by until I regroup.

Agree. They used to be pretty good but the last 2 (an 8 and an 11 animal) I got were awful. I’m here for the answers too

For tackling pet hair on hardwood and carpets, the Dyson V11 Animal is a solid choice! It's lightweight, super-efficient, and easy to clean. Plus, it's within your budget! I've had mine for over a year and it's been a game changer with my furry friends. Happy vacuum hunting!
