I have the v11+ animal and its been the best vacuum I've ever had. Still going strong for lime 10 years now or close to it. I had to have the motor replaced once under warranty. I have a backup battery for it and maintain it regularly. I have cats and picks up fur no problem.

The leap from shark to Dyson for us was almost unbelievable. It just picks up so much more dust than the shark ever could, especially from carpets. The last two dysons I got (an 8 and an 11 animal) were terrible. I used to swear by Dysons! The viral tineco from Amazon was even worse. Landed on the shark rocket just to get by until I regroup.
