"I live in a 2700 square foot cookie-cutter tract house. First floor is laminate with an office that has carpet. Then there’s the stairs which leads to 5 carpeted bedrooms, two tile bathrooms, a laundry room, and a walk-in carpeted closet. I can get all of that done one charge."
"Good enough run time"

"being cordless and effective for what I need. ... For some the tradeoff for cordless, no bags, good suction, etal means we vacuum more than we otherwise would. ... I never would have thought I'd defend a near $1,000 cordless vacuum but I got one as a gift and will never buy anything different now."
"I ’ve been spoiled by cordless vacuuming, especially since my house was built in the 20s and has few options for outlets."

"The no bag is a feature for some of us not a defect. ... I dont make a mess emptying it vs making a mess swapping bags - cause I overfill it. That's a me thing but it's a consistent me thing and I dont have to worry about it with the Dyson."
"it doesn’t have a bag"
"it has no bags/you just pull a lever and it dumps the canister."

"I’ve had one for my V8 and it’s lasted longer than the oem now, plus it is a lather capacity battery too."
"replacing a vacuum that died (Dyson) ... I will have probably bought 2-3 dysons in that time period"

"the cordless Dyson isn’t that great for carpet/rugs ... I have the old school Dyson Ball vacuum cleaner and it’s sooo much better for rugs"

I used to use a ShopVac wet and dry unit, but when I got to try a Dyson for my cars, I just had to get one for them.
r/CarsPH • Looking for car cleaning product recos (esp. vacuums) that are easy to find locally (Ace, Lazada, etc.) ->Ignore the hate, I’m glad you found a great vacuum!! I personally have the V11 which doesn’t have the laser head and I tried a laser head but it doesn’t seem to be compatible sadly It looks so cool!! People in this sub are on Miele and Sebo type side which is fine that’s their opinion but I hate how people can be so harsh when you’re just trying to enjoy the machine you like for yourself, I’ve had both Sebo and Miele and they are great machines too but I still like Dyson
r/VacuumCleaners • Dyson gen 5 ->Yes, I’ve had multiple Dysons and they are okay, I have a v10 from 2020 and a v11 from 2024 and it all works fine still
r/VacuumCleaners • Should I just buy a Dyson? ->I get that some bagless vacuums are disgusting to empty but I’ve got 2 Sebo’s an I had a Miele (went in bin) however, they all absolutely stunk after 2 weeks, no pets or smokers and I used it lightly I would just replace the bag but the bag isn’t even half full so it seems like a waste. I did try Sebo fresheners, and some vac discs but non lasted for more than 3 uses before the bag smell came back, they all done it since new I just got a Dyson V11 and I kinda prefer it, I push down on the bin lever and the bin scrapes the dirt off the cyclone shroud and it all drops into the outside bin, leaving the bin clear of dust I haven’t gotten any smells yet obviously since it’s brand new but already I prefer the emptying system
r/VacuumCleaners • This is why I don’t miss having a corded bagless vacuum cleaner! ->I just returned the Dyson V11 despite the fact that it had the strongest suction power of any cordless vacuum we've tried, and it's because of the trigger, which also makes it difficult to maneuver. The fact that they haven't created a vacuum with an on and off button is pretty ridiculous. Not worth $400+.
r/VacuumCleaners • Thoughts on the Dyson V10 Animal+ for $400? ->I just got the v11 plus for $399 on sale. It definitely has better suction power than the v10. So I wouldn't pay that price for the 10 whatsoever. Either way, I'm returning mine. Even though the suction power is fantastic, it's hard to maneuver (likely because it suctions so well) and hate that it doesn't have an on and off button like other cordless vacuums. Instead, you have to press the button the entire time as you're vacuuming. That, combined with it being top heavy, makes it a no-go for me. Search Vacuum Wars videos on YT for recommendations.

r/VacuumCleaners • Thoughts on the Dyson V10 Animal+ for $400? ->I have a Dyson V8 and a V11 Torque handheld on fake wood floors right now. They were good for the hair but TRASH at picking up litter. Probably would be better picking it up off carpet.
r/CatAdvice • Can someone recommend me some a good vacuum to buy that can actually handle my 3 cats hair?! ->I like mine a lot, but the biggest thing that bothers me is the battery. It doesn’t last quite long enough to vacuum my living room, kitchen, and back room. And it takes like 5 hours to charge. So vacuuming takes planning and I can’t get it all done at once anymore. My next vacuum will be a ryobi cordless.
r/CleaningTips • Are Dyson vacuums really worth it? V11 is now under $400 and I'm tempted ->Mine is definitely over 5 years at this point and the only issue is some battery degradation on max power mode. Ive used it almost daily this whole time.
r/CleaningTips • Are Dyson vacuums really worth it? V11 is now under $400 and I'm tempted ->Bought a V11 too. It’s so fucking good.
r/VacuumCleaners • Never ever buy a Dyson vac. ->My Dyson v11 is 3 years old. Broker trigger, then staying on, then the canister latch broke. Plus various cracks in the handle close to the battery. The performance is great, the quality is shit, customer support is just a L on the forehead, a raspberry and a middle finger. I already have a miele c3, I love the dyson's washable filters and performance, but such shitty plastic and generally low quality for that price is unacceptable. I'm also looking for a good stick vac that doesn't tangle with long hairs and has decent washable filters but am trying my best to avoid Dyson.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Cordless Vacuum ->Wife and I have a Dyson V11 cordless and been using it with no problem for almost a decade now. Are we just incredibly lucky? Reading the hate in this sub makes it seem as if we won the lottery with our personal experience lol Albeit we clean ours periodically.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->I like my v11 stick vacuum. had it for 4 years, no issues
r/askSingapore • What vacuum cleaners are you using? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
