Dyson - V11 Outsize

Could you share the rough square footage of your living space and type of flooring?  I've got a v11 Outsize with the bigger head, they don't seem to be the best in durability.  The stick part can wiggle when attached.

Der Dyson Service ist 10/10. Habe zwei im Gebrauch. Einen V11 Absolute und einen V11 Outsize. Der Absolute hatte nach ein paar Jahren das Problem, dass der Knopf nicht mehr richtig ging. Garantie war bereits abgelaufen. Dyson hat uns für die Versandkosten einen komplett neuen Korpus (!) geschickt. Einzig den Akku mussten wir noch selber einbauen. Die Sauger sind grade mit Katze echt genial. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen.

My main is a V11 Outsize with the extra battery and I love that thing. It’s like 5-6 years old now and I can get 2 hours or so with both batteries. If it dies I’ll go Miele because I’ve seen too many issues with the newer Dysons. I’ve had no regrets on buying this one though. I’d definitely consider a used one if I knew the batteries were good.

V11 refurb w/ a laser head off eBay for $40 is a good deal

The Tineco Pet Go 303 is not going to solve your problem and it'll add many other problems. The V11 has a pretty nice canister that minimizes the need to do that so I don't really understand what your real "problem" is... with the other ones things get stuck and I just quickly rotate out the inside filter part and back in, or just quickly grab whatever that gets stuck or use a brush. Maybe a Dyson V11 *outsize* would solve your problem and it's within your budget if you get an old beat up one. Based on how it looks, it looks like it'll essentially get rid of your problem with the bigger canister and the general shape of it. I feel like you could "solve" the problem you're describing, ironically by purchasing a much worse vacuum like the Tineco, but only because it'll have trouble picking up all the stuff in the first place for it to even get clogged where you say it gets clogged.

I bought a Dyson Outsize Absolute in May 2023 ($799). In Nov 2024 Dyson performed a warranty repair by replacing the **main body** due to shut-offs during use. **Within nine months**, the **exact same defect** came back: intermittent power loss and shut-offs. Support confirmed the same component would need replacement again but refused a **no-charge** repair, arguing the warranty had “matured,” and offered a \~$400 paid replacement. In other words, the original warranty repair **did not fix** the defect, and Dyson is shifting the cost to the customer. I’m asking Dyson to stand behind its repair and provide a **no-charge repair or a full replacement**, or a **refund** of the purchase price. I will update this review if the company resolves the matter fairly.

I had the Dyson outsize, it croaked after several months and Dyson didn't have a filter for it, so they upgraded me to the new gen15 outsize. The thing costs about 2x, is more powerful, comes with a second battery and and amazing cloth roller head with a laser light that makes dust and debris glow. Never had a vacuum that worked so well. Return only took about 2 weeks. Very pleased, just hope this one lasts...

I ditched my Dyson Outsized for the Miele C3 Complete. I’ll use the Dyson for quick pickups but I have to increase suction to max to pick up cat litter.

The Dyson sticks are highly overrated. To obtain adequate suction power, you need to use the high setting but your battery will only run for 10 minutes tops.
