"I’ve seen on the camera the poor guy making multiple trips to self empty while in one room but it’s cut the hair buildup tenfold."
"With three they can just make it to a full week for emptying. ... Life changing."
"I have one teenager who’s messy and a dog who sheds like it’s her job. It’s been a game changer."

"amazing battery (literally all day at work without going into the case)"
"Ok it's great I had them playing for more than 6 hrs with ANC and they didn't die ... Soundcore says about 10hrs and I think it's pretty true you can at least get 8 hrs without ANC and with ANC I reckon at least 7 hrs. ... The case can charge UpTo 3 times and combined Anker says 40 hrs of play time which I think is pretty accurate."
"Long-lasting! Swear! Hahaha. Halos everyday ko siyang gamit and once a week ko lang siya need i-charge"

"when hardwired with their power kit the parking mode never misses a motion event."
"We have four roborock S7’s running in our 5,000 sqft office. ... Bought them since they first came out years ago. ... They run every day. ... Only last year did we replace the battery for all 4. ... Other than that, no issue at all, rock solid, very pleased that we also have them for our homes too."
"My Roborock S7 does about 2,000 sqft twice a week since 2021, and it's still going strong"

"I live in a 2700 square foot cookie-cutter tract house. First floor is laminate with an office that has carpet. Then there’s the stairs which leads to 5 carpeted bedrooms, two tile bathrooms, a laundry room, and a walk-in carpeted closet. I can get all of that done one charge."
"being cordless and effective for what I need. ... For some the tradeoff for cordless, no bags, good suction, etal means we vacuum more than we otherwise would. ... I never would have thought I'd defend a near $1,000 cordless vacuum but I got one as a gift and will never buy anything different now."
"One thing I really love is how it came with two batteries. ... Never have I ran out of a charge."

"AirPods are built to last a year the then they fail. ... Every year, right after the warranty expires, one ear bud fails its almost a joke to us at this point. ... we've had 8-9 pairs of air pods fail ... One of the air pods just quit working on all the sets they've had..."
"First one lasted 7 months. ... Second one lasted about a month. ... Batteries."
"both the buds and case were completely dead after 6 hours of casual listening. ... Didn't get better over time."

"About a year and the right bud would last about 15 minutes on a full charge."
"Then they could not be powered at all, screen would show the azlrla logo and shut off."
"doesnt always recharge reliably ... I've set it on the charger 12 hoursat a time after ensuring a connection andstill won't be charged. ... I think the connectors are overly sensitive"

"the amount of dog hair / ETC it can get out of the carpet vs the Dyson Cordless cannot be compared."
"the cordless Dyson isn’t that great for carpet/rugs ... I have the old school Dyson Ball vacuum cleaner and it’s sooo much better for rugs"

"I hate to hold pressing the power button all the time."
"I couldn’t get over having to press the button down the entire time vacuuming."
"My v15 detect has been nothing but problems. ... I was having an issue where I would start the vacuum and it would cut power. Repress the trigger it would run for another few seconds then cut power. ... the first time they sent a new battery. It made the problem even worse."

"It spews dust into the air"
We have 1 dog and hardwoods: dyson v8.
r/VacuumCleaners • Stick vacuum and bagged vac ->If I’m being 100% honest I used to be a Dyson hater (I’ve used $1200 Miele vacuums my entire life) but my Dyson v8 cordless slaps. We have a husky who sheds like crazy. I run it on turbo all the time and it does a great job. It’s on the top end of your budget but sometimes there’s deals
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vac for pets and carpet ->All the time. My gf is a sucker for fluffy rugs, you know, the ones that look like you skinned a Wooly mammoth? The Dyson does really well on it surprisingly. I just measured it for you, the carpet has like 1.25” tall strands, so pretty fluffy. Even though I love my Miele, the Dyson beater bar is hands down the best I’ve seen for keeping hair from getting tangled in it. Their little spiral thing is amazingly designed. My ONLY gripe on that vacuum is lack of suction on low mode. I wish they would have bumped that up a notch or two, as I really don’t need 30 minutes of runtime or whatever it lasts.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vac for pets and carpet ->Honestly it’s not bad all all. It’s got that annoying high pitched Dyson whine, but that’s just the nature of the beast. Turbo gets loud but certainly not earplugs territory lol. It still irritates me that I’m recommending this thing. I want to hate Dyson so bad 😂
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vac for pets and carpet ->I’ve had 2 Dyson stick vacs break and honestly the manufacturing seems to get cheaper not better. Just switched to shark and happy so far but when you’re in the $400 range you are buying a short term vacuum anyhow.
r/CleaningTips • Are Dyson vacuums really worth it? V11 is now under $400 and I'm tempted ->Yes. I use my cordless Dyson daily for small messes and use it as my main vacuum. It’s so convenient. I love it. I also got it on sale at Costco.
r/homemaking • Are cordless vacuums worth it? Have 2 kids under 3 years old, 1 story house ->The Dyson stick one for animals. I think I have the V8 animal. I honestly hate it for almost everything else because it has such a little suction area, but it was the best vacuum ever when my girl was around and shedding 24/7 365. The robot picks up the rest of the stuff between using the Dyson.
r/germanshepherds • I have these two hair shedders and I can’t find a vacuum cleaner that doesn’t give up the will to live after about a year. Anyone got recommendations for a brand and model that lasts longer than 12months? ->Yes, being cordless and effective for what I need. They have HEPA filters, at least mine does. The no bag is a feature for some of us not a defect. It's all a tradeoff. For some the tradeoff for cordless, no bags, good suction, etal means we vacuum more than we otherwise would. I dont make a mess emptying it vs making a mess swapping bags - cause I overfill it. That's a me thing but it's a consistent me thing and I dont have to worry about it with the Dyson. I never would have thought I'd defend a near $1,000 cordless vacuum but I got one as a gift and will never buy anything different now.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Same - Though Reddit seems to hate them. We got a Shark as a gift, lasted 1 year. They replaced it for free. Lasted about 2 years. We’ve had the same Dyson stick over 10 years with no issues. A charge doesn’t last long as long as it used to, but suction is still excellent. I can save you the trouble, Reddit will recommend you buy a $1300 corded Miele/Sebu. If God forbid you must have a cordless, $1000 Miele or $200 shark. I just don’t think it’s worth it for something where the bar is “does it get my floors clean?”. It reminds of certain hobbies like Mountain Biking where anything other than enthusiast-level ($$$$) is ‘junk’. Okay but I had fun riding my ‘junk’ the last decade while saving 8K. PC gaming, too - nobody has enjoyed a game with 12GB of VRAM, apparently.
r/CleaningTips • Are Dyson vacuums really worth it? V11 is now under $400 and I'm tempted ->Don’t know how often you’d use or charge yours but after having to replace the battery on my Dyson twice when it died the third time I got a black and decker instead - swappable battery means there’s no wait for recharge an I don’t need a place to plug it in - I also had a ton of the batteries for other tools already. Oh, and it works great for a cordless stick, as well as the Dyson did an we use it on floors and rugs (still use an upright on the thick pile rugs weekly but it does the job for a quick tidy on them)
r/Cleaningandtidying • Stay-at-home mom here: which cordless vacuum is actually worth it? ->With the dyson stick cordless, the battery can be replaced. We did so on ours after 8ish years and it is like new.
r/Cleaningandtidying • Stay-at-home mom here: which cordless vacuum is actually worth it? ->When our battery started to go I had no idea it could be replaced. Needless to say I was very excited, lol
r/Cleaningandtidying • Stay-at-home mom here: which cordless vacuum is actually worth it? ->My husband ordered and exchanged it. I dont recall it being a pain in the ass. There seems to be 2 screws.
r/Cleaningandtidying • Stay-at-home mom here: which cordless vacuum is actually worth it? ->I have the rechargeable #2 on the list Dyson stick and I LOVE IT! If you have carpeted stairs, it’s no challenge dealing with those. I live in a 2700 square foot cookie-cutter tract house. First floor is laminate with an office that has carpet. Then there’s the stairs which leads to 5 carpeted bedrooms, two tile bathrooms, a laundry room, and a walk-in carpeted closet. I can get all of that done one charge.
