V8 Animal

I had a Dyson V8 Animal + for 5 years, but I'm not happy with the building quality and battery life. Are there any cordless stick vacuums on the market with a good building quality and battery life? How are the newer models like Samsung Bespoke Jet Plus, Miele Triflex HX2, ...? I dont want a Dyson anymore.

We've had a Dyson V8 animal for about 4 years and it's great. Bonus, if you have Ryobi One+ batteries you can buy an adaptor off Amazon for like $30 so you don't have to worry about the inbuilt battery going flat, I absolutely love it

Could be a case of they don't build them like they used to. Bought the original entry level yellow Dyson back in the day. Ran good for about a decade. The beater stopped working and we gave it away. Replaced with a Kirby. Bought a V8 Animal stick vacuum when they first came out and the battery died about 2 years ago. Got a kit from Amazon to convert it to my DeWalt tool batteries. Runs great. Recently the door for the waste broke a clip. Now we just tape it up. Not sure what I will replace it with.

We have a cordless Dyson we got cbeal in Costco. I'm sure there are better brand but it's useful, and small and has decent tools. We also have a Shark robot vacuum (also cheap from Costco) and I love him.

The Dyson stick one for animals. I think I have the V8 animal. I honestly hate it for almost everything else because it has such a little suction area, but it was the best vacuum ever when my girl was around and shedding 24/7 365. The robot picks up the rest of the stuff between using the Dyson.

Some people haven’t had great luck with it but I have a Dyson V8 Animal. It’s light weight and easy to move the battery life is fine I vaccumn maybe 800 sq total in my house. But have never had any issues the pet roller never gets clogged with hair. It all gets sucked up and my house isn’t constantly covered in hair. I have two tri coloured so our lighter carpet and thier black hair I see hair constantly. We try to just do a quick vaccumn every day or two in high traffic areas.

Get a used V8 Animal on eBay with the motor head wand and tools Replacement Battery is easily available online if knackered Reason: My v11 has broken down twice in 1 year. Newer does not always mean better My v8 is still going after 8yrs

I have a Dyson V8 animal. I’ve had it for years and years and years. I was gonna get rid of it because I didn’t think it worked all that well and so I tried a Dyson V 15. The thing has a ton of suction. If you have a strong back, you might like it. I hated it. It’s too hard to push on the carpet. The shark vacuums and all those cheap ones are terrible. Anyway, I ended up taking my V8 and I looked online and watched a YouTube video and I tore it completely apart. All of the parts I washed and dried. Put it all back together and the thing works like a champ. I will tell you don’t buy the V 15. Get the V 10. As far as battery life. The newer Dyson’s have a removable battery so you can get more than one, but for a cordless vacuum don’t expect great battery life on any of them in turbo mode. If you want a strong vacuum to clean a whole house then get a plug-in upright.

I have some area rugs, unless they’re really heavy, the stick vacuums cause them a bunch up. I have a Dyson V8 and when I go over the area rugs I turn it down so that it’s not on it. Super suction mode. That being said a robot vacuum works really well. I have one of those too.

I have love hate relationship with my Dyson V8 pet. The attachments are the best I've ever used of any vacuum but the unit itself shuts off and the battery has a short life span. I have a corded Henry that has way better suction. If only I could use the Dyson animal hair attachments on it.
