The Dyson stick one for animals. I think I have the V8 animal. I honestly hate it for almost everything else because it has such a little suction area, but it was the best vacuum ever when my girl was around and shedding 24/7 365. The robot picks up the rest of the stuff between using the Dyson.

dyson v8 animal. yes it's more expensive than the random brands but i've had mine for 4 years with two shedding dogs and it still works like day one. the suction actually grabs the hair instead of doing that weird swirling thing where it just redistributes everything. worth every penny imo

Dyson ball animal 3 + v8 animal but we don't manually vacuum much, just what they drop on furniture or what hair floats around and gets stuck in weird spots. Robot mop/vacuums handle most everything for 2 pyrs by running 1-2x/day on a schedule, depending on the area and the specific robot.

I had a Dyson V8 Animal + for 5 years, but I'm not happy with the building quality and battery life. Are there any cordless stick vacuums on the market with a good building quality and battery life? How are the newer models like Samsung Bespoke Jet Plus, Miele Triflex HX2, ...? I dont want a Dyson anymore.

Had my Dyson V8 Animal for 9 years and it's still going strong. One ebay Ryobi battery adapter and she's like new out of the box.

Some people haven’t had great luck with it but I have a Dyson V8 Animal. It’s light weight and easy to move the battery life is fine I vaccumn maybe 800 sq total in my house. But have never had any issues the pet roller never gets clogged with hair. It all gets sucked up and my house isn’t constantly covered in hair. I have two tri coloured so our lighter carpet and thier black hair I see hair constantly. We try to just do a quick vaccumn every day or two in high traffic areas.

Have severe dust allergy and a pet at home, bought a V8 animal (seconds from Amazon; probably a shop use piece). It’s been going strong but the battery is an issue and Dyson has no support for the v8 anymore(tried online and offline) so please keep that in mind. Dunno about the Bosch or the new Shark/Ninja products, but I hear good things about the white labelled Agaro products though

Edit: I do have a corded Philips, no battery problems(it doesn’t have one) but nearly not as handy(very bulky) or powerful(Dyson has toggle able power modes) Also the Dyson is around 3 years old now
