r/VacuumCleaners • Suggest some of the best cordless DYSON vacuums ->For me, with three long-haired cats, my Dyson stick saves my life. I got the one at Costco-V something. On full strength I use it on my few rugs , but I keep it on the middle strength for all my other floors. The battery life at full power is pretty short (20 mins) but at least 30-40 mins in the middle setting. I live on a single floor condo so it works perfectly for me.

Being able to just grab it and hang it back up helps me use it more frequently. I don't like having to take batteries out of things to charge them if I can help it. I haven't decided yet, but my trusty old Dyson animal finally died and the repair failed, I really hope OP is steering me in the right direction. My poor Dyson. New ones are awful compared, the only thing I like about my cordless $500 Dyson is that it doesn't get stuck on rugs. I need the cord back!!!!

The Dyson does really well on it surprisingly. I just measured it for you, the carpet has like 1.25” tall strands, so pretty fluffy. Even though I love my Miele, the Dyson beater bar is hands down the best I’ve seen for keeping hair from getting tangled in it. Their little spiral thing is amazingly designed. My ONLY gripe on that vacuum is lack of suction on low mode. I wish they would have bumped that up a notch or two, as I really don’t need 30 minutes of runtime or whatever it lasts.

Turbo gets loud but certainly not earplugs territory lol. It still irritates me that I’m recommending this thing. I want to hate Dyson so bad 😂
