V8 Slim Fluffy+

I have a Dyson V8 plus. It’s a little bulky, but I’ve had it for over a year and I got it refurbished from EBay and it’s amazing. It sucks up so much hair. I swear my carpet looks clean, then I go over it with the ultra power and it finds a whole cat somewhere!

We have a German Shepherd Collie mix, and he sheds so much! We also had a white cat that shed a lot of visible hair. The hair becomes tumbleweeds on the floor. We purchased a robot vacuum that runs once a day, and we also have a Dyson with a special, fluffy brush designed to pick up pet hair. It's amazing! We also have a big lint roller brush that is not the plastic one, it's like velcro and picks up any fur on you or furniture. The dog sleeps on the bed with us, so I lint roll it once a day! If you have carpets, get a soapy bucket and rubber gloves and scrape the glove over the carpets or use a brush, it's amazing for getting rid of a lot of inbedded hair. Try that at least once a month. I have a Dyson Fluffy, which was designed for hard surface cleaning. It takes up very little room for storage and came with several attachments to choose from. Two of those are powered roller brush heads, one that is wider for floors and one that is only about 4 inches wide, which would work well for you on the outer perimeter of your area rugs. You can use the stick while standing up and vacuuming, or remove the stick and attach the head directly to the vacuum for a handheld doing those stairs, the interior of your car, etc.

Shark Detect Pro or Dyson V8 (Fluffy head) are solid picks. No beater bar, good for hard floors. Both usually in that price range if on sale. EU stockists have ’em!

Dyson V8 with fluffy soft roller head (designer for hard floors). Buy spare pre-filters and HEPA filters and be prepared to maintain it.

Sorry I've only just seen your comment. The absolute is the older model, the V8 cyclone was just released and supposedly has better suction, battery life and a button instead of a trigger. If they are signs the same price I would go for the cyclone. You can buy fluffy roller head on Facebook marketplace. I ended up buying a fluffy head with laser on Temu, it's brilliant because it illuminates all the dust
