I've had an Electrolux Ergorapido for years. Around $250. Replaced a worn out hose bellow connector ($15). Bought a couple of replacement inner filters ($17). Motor still pumps. Runs around the whole house on a charge. Highly rated.

Exactly what I was going to say, I have a Miele C3 we use for deep cleans and full house cleaning, plus an Electrolux ergorapido stick that’s used for spot cleaning and quick pickups

I got the Electrolux Ergorapido a few years ago and love it! No issues whatsoever, holds a charge, has a light and swivel. I make sure I keep the brush clean from hair, etc regularly and clean dust build up from crevices and it's done a great job. I don't feel like it blows any dust back into the house.

After having a cordless stick vacuum I can’t go back to anything else. Fucking easy. However mine is a small household, short-pile carpet, no kids or pets. (In a larger household with fluffy carpet I might still like the convenience of a stick vacuum as a second vacuum for little quick jobs, or for the sleepout or garage. My second Electrolux Ergorapido died yesterday so I have been looking at new options. Both of mine died after 6 or 8 years and were not worth repairing - one appliance place said ‘we can do it but honestly - don’t bother, just throw it out.’ That’s because they were cordless - the Li batteries wear out after a few years almost regardless of how heavily they’re used, is my understanding.)
