I have a newer Kenmore 600 Canister, but I bought a new Eureka FlexReach upright for $130 because of how inconvenient the canister is to use. I thought I’d use Eureka for quick cleaning and Kenmore for deeper cleaning. I’ll be damned but the Eureka has impressed me. It’s easier to use, lighter, quieter, and it actually has STRONGER suction! It pulled up stuff the Kenmore left behind. Made my medium pile carpets look clean and groomed. Maybe I don’t even need Kenmore anymore… 🤔

It's unrealistic to think someone can find a Miele or Sebo on Facebook marketplace for less than 200 bucks, unless it's in need of intense refurbishing. I had a cheap upright bagless Eureka that worked well for three years. Switched to a bagged Kenmore and I definitely prefer it. Works better, doesn't cost a whole lot more (especially if you get one on a black Friday sale), and I don't miss having to empty a dusty disgusting canister.
