Omniverse NEU800

I bought a Eureka Omniverse from Costco last year and the wheels broke after the first use. Only the old Eureka models like the Mighty Mite are good.

Eureka is no longer the American company that used to make the high-quality vacuums it did decades ago. Today Eureka is owned by Midea the Chinese company that makes cheap refrigerators and air conditioners. I bought a Eureka Omniverse from Costco over a year ago and it was terrible. The front wheels started shredding apart after the first use. Even though the Omniverse has multiple cyclones the filter got dirty after the first use. I do not recommend any modern Eureka besides their bagged canisters. For cordless vacuums I recommend the LG CordZero. It's good overall and cheaper than Dyson. You can find many models that come with extra batteries or a charging stand. The LG CordZero A913BM $249 comes with 1 battery and a charging stand. If you want to buy from Costco the LG CordZero Kompressor A941KTMP $399 comes with the dual brushroll powerhead, 1 battery, the mini motorized brush, and a charging stand. I also recommend the Dyson V8 over the Dyson V15. The V8 has a better weight balance. The V15 adds a lot of flashy features like lasers and an LCD screen but those don't improve the cleaning ability. The Dyson V8 Absolute is $359 on Dyson and comes with the fluffy motor head and screw tool. Another affordable option is the Karcher VCN5 $192 on Amazon. What do you think?

It's unrealistic to think someone can find a Miele or Sebo on Facebook marketplace for less than 200 bucks, unless it's in need of intense refurbishing. I had a cheap upright bagless Eureka that worked well for three years. Switched to a bagged Kenmore and I definitely prefer it. Works better, doesn't cost a whole lot more (especially if you get one on a black Friday sale), and I don't miss having to empty a dusty disgusting canister.
