We recently replaced an earlier stick vac with an inexpensive Eureka and are very happy with it. It was on sale for $90 and seems pretty sturdy for the price. and yet it’s lightweight, nimble, and very ergonomically pleasing. The various attachments snap on and off very easily and cleaning it is a breeze. The head isn’t all that wide so it might take a while to do a large room but for a quick cleanup it’s great and it would be good for smaller homes. (For reference, ours is 2 floors, and a combination of carpet heights, wood flooring, tile and linoleum, plus some throw rugs, etc. It’s good on all of them. I’m really surprised at how much I like it! Even the cats are ok with it. It is part of the Eureka NEC 280 Series.
r/VacuumCleaners • Gifting a cordless stick vacuum, please help! ->I’ve got the Eureka, I’m on my second. After about a year the battery wouldn’t hold a charge. I do use it often, daily around my own 850 sq ft mostly tile house and often on light jobs at work—I’m a professional cleaner. It’s fine! It’s not great, but I’ve not been resentful of my purchases. I like it better than Dysons. I’d think it last two to three years for a regular usage person, especially in a space that small. I read that the battery only gets 200 charges so you should use until the battery dies before plugging it back in. That said, next time I’ll likely get the Levoit just to try it out. Hopefully it lasts until I can afford a top dollar stick vacuum for home, they’re so convenient!
r/VacuumCleaners • Decent inexpensive cordless vacuum for dorm? ->I have a Eureka RapidClean Pro Dyson-style cordless canister vacuum. My parents have the equivalent Dyson model. We bought them around the same time in 2020. We both have pets, and our usage is similar. Mine works better and clogs less often. They ask to borrow it regularly because the Dyson is clogged or just not getting the job done. I paid $119 They paid $500 In this case, I'm glad I didn't go with the hype.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->Eureka Rapid Clean Pro. We have two of them. We have one long haired cat and one Basset hound in the house. Had a Dyson and it was AWFUL, same problems you have had.
r/dogs • Best vacuum for pet hair? ->I bought a Eureka about 6 months ago and it's fantastic. Everything is washable and the suction is amazing. I have 3 cats and very long hair and the only issue I've had is cleaning my hair off of the beater brush. Has all the attachments and works as hand vac too. Had a dyson (hated it) and a shark (it was pretty good) but this eureka was under $200
