I went I to get a Miele, and ended up getting a SEBO. Love it so much! It’s much more user friendly in my opinion. Before that we had and our Hoover Windtunnel Pet bagged upright (went through two..maybe three in 18 years) and it was a couple hundred. It was really reliable with strong suction. It actually still works great. The SEBO is a dream, though and is much easier to handle.
Bissell wind tunnel for pet hair is amazing and ugly. I also have a Miehle with a bag. My problem with the Bissell it is large and ugly and Bissell just always troubleshoots it and fixes it for free so how can I throw it out? Miehle bagged is better in wood floors, Bissell wind better on carpets. I do like bags better with pet hair for keeping the air cleaner. Also my Roomba from 2017 also won’t stop working so I can throw it out. Its capacity is such it needs frequent emptying.
Heny hoovers are terrible in my experience. Ive used them at work and they're nothing special at all. I have that shark vacuum at home (have a pet and partner that both molt a lot as well) and its incredible. I did a vacuum downstairs in just the living room and I was surprised by the fact it was nearly full already.... That last bit may sound bad as it may sound like its got a small capacity for stuff (idk what its called. On a old vacuum it would be called the bag?), but i previously had an actual hoover that sucked ass. And would struggle to pick anything up. It sucks up so much rubbish its great. I know i sound like im sponsored by them, but I was very frustrated for ages on having such a terrible vacuum. I even tried my mums shark one that was terrible. It was old and sounded like a jet engine and cordless. But she told me to get the one I currently have now (the one in the photo above) as she recently got it as well. Best decision i ever made. I nearly bought a Dyson, but im glad I didnt. Its definitely worth spending a little more in my opinion on something like this. Worth it in the long run
Hoover smartwash pet complete. The best carpet cleaner I've ever owned. You can buy refurbished from BestBuy.
I have 2 Hoover Windtunnels. Work great very old. I have 3 working Shark Robot vacs. Oldest is 12 yrs old. Still using all 3 on each level of house.
I’ve used the Hoover Windtunnel, then the Dyson Ball Animal 2, before finally settling on the Sebo X 7 Premium. It’s the best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever owned, and it’s my final upright for the foreseeable future.
We have hard surfaces on 1st & 2nd floors, Our Dyson stick V8 & V10 (one per floor, oldest is like 8 years?) is great for those; but I'd never rely on it for carpets. For that I have a 25 year old Hoover Windyunnel bagged that is repairable and running well.
I still have a Hoover Windtunnel from 2001 or 2002 I think. I haven’t been using it much because I need to replace some bearings. Those things were incredible, and this is coming from a guy who never thought he’d be the least bit interested or excited about a vacuum cleaner.
