There are actually many sizes. Wd 3 is not that big, but there are also smaller ones and bigger ones. Wd 1 is 32x35x37 cm, 1000w... Loud is it. It is not a typical household vacuum, similar to Henry for example but more powerful and better. Real heavy duty vac, which I need for my heavy shedding animals.
Mine is the WD-1, not sure if they still make that model. We have a WD-3 at work which also works pretty well. If I remember correctly I paid R900 but that was in early 2021.
Katcha wet and dry from Mitre 10. It consistently out performs the wife’s fancy vacuums and has been adopted as our day to day option in the house and the garage. Simple, no gimmicks, basic but effective
+2 here. Used it for 5 years now and still going strong. I got the ugly yellow one. The replacement bag is also cheap and you can get off brand replacement bags from lazada/taobao. I replaced the original wheels with rollerblade wheels early on and it still rolls smooth. I can't remember the price but it was like $200-300 IIRC
Any of their wet and dry vacuum (WD series for consumer grade or NT for industrial grade). Most of the suction units are similar across the same range (only bigger bucket) but for general purpose home use is more than enough. Make sure it's wet and dry if you intend to use for vacuuming water/wet stuff and empty the bin + sun/air dry after use if it's wet, otherwise you will have your own biohazardous container at home. Can't recommend their water filter or bagged vacuums as I have no experience with those, however they look very generic like straight out of some china OEM factory.
Our last two hoovers have been Karcher WD hoovers. Ridiculously powerful, robust, & with Wet & Dry potential. Cheap too compared to your Dysons & your Sharks etc
I have the karcher WD series vacuum, or as i call it fatboi. Its good for both wet and dry vacuum (i use it mainly for dry cleaning). Big capacity, it can suck everything you throw at it in a household. However, i only vacuum like few days once, and i am looking for a robo vaccum as well to do some light cleaning as well, i am looking at roborock QRF 798, it has good reviews compared to sosme of its peers, however its still under review
