"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"

"Been using them for about four years working out in my gym, and cycling daily (45+ minutes on a bicycle outdoors)."
"I even washed them accidentally and still worked perfectly fine afterwards."
"I still have the Kirby my grandma bought brand new in 1970."

"The bag alone does a better job filtering than the whole of any Dyson or Shark. Then it goes through a pre-filter, and then a HEPA or carbon filter. ... The inside of my C3 is basically spotless. I could eat out of it, and I've had it for 8 years, with two dogs."
"if u are allergic or have allergic family members miele is the way to go. ... Filtration was the reason for me to pick up my miele c3 as well. ... But for someone who has allergies that difference is very important. ... I prefer finer filtration because we have multiple family members will alergies, to the point where it causes unbearable symptoms."
"The filtration is seriously THAT GOOD. The bags are HEPA material, then there's another HEPA filter that follows that, and another HEPA filter after the motor. ... the bags are quite thick, and that extra tower filter in there that catches anything loose in the bag chamber makes a big difference in air quality... Essentially it's filtering through the equivalent of two bags vs 1. ... Speaking strictly from experience, I'm allergic to all the things and I never sneeze or get watery itchy gritty eyes when I'm using mine, which I normally always do."

"Does fantastic with dog hair."
"it's designed so well, it's a joy to vacuum 2x daily (concrete floors/live at the beach with a long-haired GSD, I vacuum constantly)."
"it's a dream/works so well. ... I am shocked (kinda disgusted at times!) at how much it picks up."

"I'll be damned if I'm going to drag that thing up and down three floors regularly."
"I’ve tried my families Miele canister when I lived with them and never got the hang of it. ... How do you manage the canister? We have a small space and based on my experience it seems like I would trip over it. Even when I tried it in a bigger place I still carried the canister around which was super annoying just to not trip on it ... The space is small enough that it has dead ends without enough space to turn around by pulling the canister. Is there a way that same concept can still be applied? We’re talking bedsides with only 1.5’ space, 4’ hallway with a litter box at the end, 5’ kitchen width with dead end."

"They’re sizing isn’t very consistent though so worth trying in a shop if you can find them."

We have one and it’s awesome
r/VacuumCleaners • Why the Kenmore 600 vacuum is a Paper Tiger ->I also found a "near-new, used only a couple of times", Kenmore 600 series on Facebook, as our other Kenmore finally bit the dust after about 15 years. I also can tell the build quality of this 600 isn't the same from previous models, but knowing that we are in the age of planned obsolescence on pretty much everything, I realize this canister won't last 15 years. But, it will do the job as we will be looking to downsize and the future is uncertain of what kind of flooring we will have. Still looking for a light, day-to-day quick to pick up vacuum mainly for fur of 2 Golden's and 4 cats, especially for carpeted stairs. Since the Golden's are in the "get rid of the summer coat" season, I try to brush daily to keep down clumps of fur everywhere, but still need to vacuum and or carpet rake nearly every day in high shedding season.
r/VacuumCleaners • Loving this Kenmore 🤯 ->My Kenmore canister vacuum was so versatile. It could easily get under the couch and coffee table, had all the attachments and the cord auto retracted into the vacuum. It was also a very simple design which meant that it lasted a really long time. I now have a Dyson and hate it.
r/VacuumCleaners • Explain to me why you like a canister vac? And give me advice on what to get... ->Kenmore canister-- affordable and a BEAST
r/VacuumCleaners • Whatever you do - never buy a Dyson ->I’ve been using a Kenmore canister vacuum for over 18 years now and it’s great with hardwood, rugs, and pet hair.
r/BuyItForLife • Vacuum Recommendations- Pet Hair & Mixed Floors ->I had a kenmore caister. Worked great and lasted 10 years. Much more affordable than sebo or miele.
r/VacuumCleaners • What’s the Best Affordable Vacuum That Actually Works? ->Get a bagged kenmore canister.
r/VacuumCleaners • I am feeling so overwhelmed trying to find a vacuum, help please. ->Dyson’s aren’t good vacuum cleaners. One thing that was interesting about what you said is that you are on the spectrum and you also mentioned the green light of the Dyson. That laser is to help you see the dirt on the floor so that you can vacuum it. Kenmore Elites have a blue light that goes illuminates when it senses you’re vacuuming up particles and then turns off when you’ve cleaned them all up and it doesn’t sense anymore. It’s actually a great feature and I wish my Sebo had it. Often those Kenmore’s are manufactured by Panasonic and with the inducer motors they have a lot of suction power. This upright meets your budget requirements https://a.co/d/7JHdAVN. If you can stretch your budget to $449 this canister is better and has a powered attachment for pet hair. I had this 800 series and If you have carpets and hard floors the crossover system is great. https://a.co/d/bBwae1L
r/VacuumCleaners • I am feeling so overwhelmed trying to find a vacuum, help please. ->A lot of people on here work in vacuum shops, either managing them or as technicians repairing vacuums. We are all telling you that Shark / Dyson are garbage and you have to spend a fair amount to get a decent vacuum that will last you 4+ years. If you have all hardwood floors or some very low pile carpet, get a SEBO K2/E2, or a Miele suction only model. If you have carpet that is fairly high pile, you are kind of forced to spend a decent amount for a E3 or K3 type vacuum. If you don’t want to spend that much, Kenmore makes some halfway decent vacuums like the Intuition or Pop N Go that are fairly affordable with an electric head. I don’t know why most of your replies to people are you arguing with people whose literal job it is to work with vacuums about what is good and what’s not.
r/VacuumCleaners • Why does it feel like finding a vacuum is an impossible task ->Without the country you’re in, it’s difficult to make a rec. since people who don’t specify tend to be Americans, I’ll take a guess that the US is where you’re from. If so, I highly recommend the Kenmore 600 series pop ‘n’ go bagged canister vacuum. It’s in the middle of your price range, it’s bagged (which helps it last longer and prevents you from dirtying the house right back up again every time you empty it), and it comes with the powered floor brush attachment, which is a must for carpet. I own its very similar predecessor and love it.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum recommendations? ->I just got the Kenmore 600 series with power pet mate It's a bit heavy and my apartment isn't amazing for a cannister BUT it's great, powerful, picks up hair and has the handheld brushroll attachment for the couch. I'm extremely happy. Bought at $299.99
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum Recs Under $300, Shark? Dyson? Others? ->Love seeing this as I just bought my first bagged vacuum in years I just got a Kenmore because I have a small budget and shitty apartment but MY GOD the difference!!!!
r/VacuumCleaners • This is why I don’t miss having a corded bagless vacuum cleaner! ->600 series w pet power mate I love it!
