r/VacuumCleaners • Favorite and least favorite vacuum cleaners ->I may have strongly disagreed with your advice in another thread but I highly agree with this. The Diamante is a fantastic machine for OP that has dual flooring if they prefer an upright. I love Sebo but I tend to prefer Lindhaus' uprights. I think they're a bit more refined and versatile for most people's needs.
r/VacuumCleaners • Need recommendations for a decent vacuum cleaner ->As great of a machine as the Felix is I'm often hesitant to recommend it to people who have a lot of mixed flooring and would be swapping out the heads often. For that I tend to recommend the Lindhaus Diamante since it's a dual motor machine that can go from carpet to hard floor with just the push of a button. I know you can do that on the Felix but the ET-1 isn't the best on hard floors. It'll do it but something like the Diamante is more better suited for that
r/VacuumCleaners • An Honest Review - Sebo Felix Premium ->Dysons aren't what they used to be so thats why this sub steers people clear of them (they were never 'the best' but it was possible to get one 15-20 years ago that cleaned well and lasted). Canisters are better for hard floor because they have dedicated heads for that which clean better. That said, uprights that allow you to shut the brush off also work quite well for hard floors. If you're willing to check if theres a Sebo dealer near you and stop in, they'll let you try out a canister. I've had a Miele and now Sebo, both are excellent but as someone who wasn't used to canisters I found the Sebo easier to use mainly because their hoses are longer (7ft compared to Miele's 6ft-ish) I recommend the Lindhaus Diamante 300. Lindhaus is an Italian commercial vacuum brand that also as a homeowner range, so they're very well made. The Diamante is a bagged dual motor upright like I mentioned above and it also has sealed HEPA filtration.[ See if theres a dealer near you](http://www.lindhaus.net/) or if not theres vacuum shops that sell them online. [Heres one ](https://www.palssewvac.com/product-page/lindhaus-diamante-30-38)
r/VacuumCleaners • Explain like I'm five what vacuum to Buy? ->If you're looking for an upright [see if you have a Lindhaus dealer nearby](http://www.lindhaus.net/). I highly recommend the Diamante 300e. It's a dual motor bagged upright allowing you to shut the brush off for hard floors, and comes with excellent HEPA filtration. They generally retail for under $700 and come with a 5 year warranty. Lindhaus is an Italian company whose bread and butter is commercial vacuums so that quality also gets put into their homeowner vacuums, much like Sebo. [If theres no dealer nearby theres also some dealers that sell them online. ](https://www.palssewvac.com/product-page/lindhaus-diamante-30-38)
r/VacuumCleaners • Best bagged vacuum? ->Does the machine need to have an electric brush roll? Theres a couple good options. If you can stretch to about $650 and want an electric brush upright the Lindhaus Diamante 300e is a great option. It's made in Italy by a company that makes literal commercial vacuums for businesses, but they also happen to make home vacuums with the same quality. It's dual motor so it's great for hard floor and carpet. Lindhaus also offers the HF6 canister for around $499. It comes straight suction, no powered head just a floor tool for hard floors/rugs (you can get it with an electric head but with that it's quite a bit out of your price range). You can also get a Wessel Werk air powered turbo head if you wanted something in-between. Both machines have great sealed filtration (Diamante comes with a HEPA filter/HF6 it's optional), some of the best for a homeowner vacuum. See if you have a dealer nearby, if not, theres some vacuum shops that sell both machines online (that way you get the full warranty unlike if you brought from Amazon)
r/VacuumCleaners • Advice - any affordable non-junk? ->If you're cleaning a lot of hardwood floors, I would not do Sebo uprights as they don't have a brushroll shutoff Electric brooms like the Sebo Felix/Dart, Lindhaus Valzer, Healthcare Pro can fit both the hard floor tools and motorized brushrolls from Sebo/Lindhaus Uprights like the Lindhaus Diamante have 2 motors and the brushroll can be turned off for hard floors. Not ideal if hardfloors are your main surface For canisters, Sebo D9 (the commercial version of the D4) and Lindhaus HF6 would be good options for doing it all. They have the electric brushrolls, huge bag capacity, commercial warranties, and long cords
r/VacuumCleaners • Top all around vacuum cleaners for busy residential house cleaning business? ->If you're looking for a backpack vacuum, check out the Lindhaus LB4. Comes in both cordless and corded variants. Both of which have options for a powered brushroll The problem is that you went with a bagless option. If you don't have pets, you really just need a pure suction, bagged, corded vacuum If you're looking for an upright, a Sebo Felix Premium with a ET-1 powerhead would be BIFL and clean your rugs really well. Lindhaus Valzer is a similar form factor. Both of these also come in a pure suction variant (with option to add the powered brushroll) Lindhaus Diamante/Dynamic 300 is a 2 motor upright where you can switch the brushroll off In terms of pure suction canisters, Miele C1/C3, Sebo K1/K2/E1/E2, Henry 160, Lindhaus HF6 are probably the top tier BIFL. I'd say bagged, corded Bosch vacuums would be a good buy as well If you have pets, go for a powered brushroll, which means a Sebo Felix Premium, K3, E3, D4, Lindhaus HF6, Dynamic 300
r/VacuumCleaners • American living in the EU struggling to find a vacuum I don't hate. Help? ->Given your mix of laminate, and carpet, long hair/potential fur, and preference for an upright, you could look into the Sebo Felix or Lindhaus Dynamic 300. Both are two-motor designs (one for suction airflow, and one for powering the brushroll for cleaning carpet) The Sebo Felix Premium is a popular recommendation here, but due to its design, it can be a bit heavy in the hand. It also doesn't stand upright if you switch it to the hard floor head The Lindhaus Dynamic/Diamante is a traditional upright design, but you can turn the brushroll off for cleaning hard floors Both machines are BIFL in the sense that the companies tend to have stable model lines, carry spare parts, and are designed for ease of repair Filtration and cleaning ability are top-notch, both have excellent carpet cleaning power, and more than enough suction to handle hard floors If you're looking into canisters, Sebo K3 or E3 Premium
r/VacuumCleaners • Advice on choosing a vacuum please 🙏 ->Buy it for Life. Though it doesn't mean it will last a lifetime without breaking. To me, it means that repairs are both possible and economic I had never heard of Lindhaus before I discovered vacuum nerdery. And now I own one and love it. As they're commercial machines, they will be on the no-frills side of things. And you'll need to buy it from shops/dealers selling vacuums to the commercial market Both Sebo and Lindhaus brushrolls will be very easy to untangle. They're made to be easy to remove for you to cut your hair off it regularly
r/VacuumCleaners • Advice on choosing a vacuum please 🙏 ->Consider the Lindhaus Diamante. This is a premium Italian upright vacuum with a separate brush roll motor that can be turned off for cleaning hard floors. It also comes with a felt pad for the bottom to use on delicate hard floors. It comes with a hose and telescopic wand and a full set of high quality attachments and provisions to use it to shampoo carpets and rugs. They are outstanding carpet cleaners with a lifetime geared belt and simple brush roll removal with no tools. If you shop around you can usually find these for under $700 and it would probably be the last new vacuum you need to buy. Lindhaus makes every part of their vacuums including the electric motors in house at their factory in Padua. That is extremely rare in the modern vacuum industry. They are a subsidiary of a larger Italian electric motor manufacturer called Rotafil. They ooze quality and are well regarded in commercial use for the durability and cleaning prowess. r/VacuumCleaners • Need recommendations for a decent vacuum cleaner ->Hello! I work as a residential cleaner. 15 story building with long hallways in Canada. We have long winters with lots of tiny granite rock and sand that needs to be cleaned up. My boss has asked me to find a good commercial vacuum as I need a new one and I am stumped. We've tried the Karcher Sensor Upright Vacuum (decent vacuum but the suction is not great once the bag fills up about an inch). We've also tried Lindhaus Upright Vacuum (very cheap quality, we had 3 and they all busted in some way, also suction isn't great once bag fills up only a little) and Sanitaire Upright bagless Vacuum (was very low and couldn't adjust height so we all ended up with back pains by the end of the day, side hose also was just a hose with no wand, suction was garbage, I was tapping filter out every floor). I am currently using a canister vacuum which is like the "henry" vacuum but its not only killing my back but also my wrist... overall the Karcher was the best but the suction just does not keep up and having to change the bag every other day or even everyday is just costly. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a good long lasting vacuum thats not going to give out in a year or 2 as its like pulling teeth getting equipment. I prefer a upright with a hose that has a wand and preferably can go on carpet and hard floor but I am willing to go with just carpet. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated, again in Canada thanks!
r/VacuumCleaners • Commercial vacuum suggestions ->The Miele, Henry, and Sebo vacs are the only ones worth a damn on this list. If you want a real BIFL vac and are willing to shell out, get a Lindhaus.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->The best vacuum money can buy is a Vorwerk, Lindhaus, or Sebo E3. Whether they're the type of vacuum you want is another story.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum money can buy? ->Versamatic and recently switched to Lindhaus
r/Custodians • What kind of vacuum cleaners do yall use ->My thoughts are buy a refurbished Sebo, Lindhaus, or Miele, a good amount cheaper but the vacuums are of such high quality that they can be rebuild and still last 20 years
r/VacuumCleaners • I cannot afford a SEBO ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
