"The other head without the spinner is fucking ridiculously strong. ... I cannot vacuum a rug with it because it sucks so hard. I have to hold one side down with my foot and pull away and it's still hard haha."
"3 dog's and 3 cats with all carpet. ... that thing fuckin rips. ... it works too good and everytime I use it I have to take scissors and cut the hair that's caught around the head in the brushes but it's not the vacuums fault I have a fucking hobby farm on a carpet sooo."

"is easy to swap the bag. ... And doesn’t require any extra cleaning or maintenance. Just keep the bag replaced as necessary, and replace the HEPA filter once a year."
"It doesn’t blow dust everywhere"

"Only if you have a few, small low pile rugs. The turbo head isn meant for carpeting."

"My Miele has an infuriatingly short power cord, and my house is quite small"
"The cord is quite long though."

"I’ve tried my families Miele canister when I lived with them and never got the hang of it. ... How do you manage the canister? We have a small space and based on my experience it seems like I would trip over it. Even when I tried it in a bigger place I still carried the canister around which was super annoying just to not trip on it ... The space is small enough that it has dead ends without enough space to turn around by pulling the canister. Is there a way that same concept can still be applied? We’re talking bedsides with only 1.5’ space, 4’ hallway with a litter box at the end, 5’ kitchen width with dead end."
I have this one and honestly it’s insanely good. https://www.betta.com.au/miele-blizzard-cx1-cat-dog-bagless-vacuum-cleaner-autumn-red-1100w-706446?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21755795433&gclid=Cj0KCQjwxL7GBhDXARIsAGOcmIOf7cyQztqDPH6rnHsU6eqtWSCqvJ-kqpRSh1pOwGep094GYuaGNuAaAny0EALw_wcB
Definitely check out the Miele brand which others have suggested. Soooooooo easy to use and mine has a dedicated furniture cleaning tool included, so I do my couch, bed base and the 2 cat trees.
The one I linked also is bagless, although it is corded. I’m sure they have a couple of options. I also used Afterpay to pay in instalments, which just made it nicer hahaha.
This is the one. It's fantastic, and has lasted us over a decade
The Miele dog and cat vacuum, the red one. It's sooo good and i have a rough collie 😀
Yeah, my Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog is amazing. Dealt with my husky of a girlfriend without fear or trepidation. I love it.
Hahahahaha. Yeah - this. Though I would definitely not say any of it was bad. It's just that hair past her ass was not vacuum friendly, but the CX1 handled it like a champ.
My first "adult" purchase was a Miele Blizzard CX1 Homecare. It was ~$1,000 USD about 8 years ago. I used to think Dyson was the king of vacuums, but Miele is on a different level.
I actually think a Miele blizzard cat and dog may work well, I know recommending a bag less on here will get you crucified but my brother has one and they’re not gentle with it yet it still works great. If you have a lot of hair and solids to vacuum up you will fill up the bags rather quickly , though you will probably have to empty the bag less every time you vacuum
2 kid household with an australian shepherd here 👋🏽 We have the Miele C1 cats and dogs without bag and we are very happy. I like that you can take out the canister and filter parts to clean. The only downside is that you cant replace the HEPA filter… which might be a huge downside. We’ve had the vacuum cleaner for 4 years and works perfectly, doesnt stink like others did, and has held up to all the dirt and hair the dog brings. Nevertheless, we use it only to do the deep cleaning (2/month). We got a robot vacuum that does the daily or bi-daily vacuuming on hardwood floors (Dreame X40). And we dont have rugs because of the dog. So cant really talk about that part! Edit: the vacuum cleaner came with a normal and a rotating vacuum head that seems to be for carpets. Maybe a good thing? Havent tested it so cant say if it is efficient or not…
Yes, my mistake! CX1 cat&dogs
I had a miele because my parents had one of over 20 years. Mine (blizzard cx1) however barely made it to 5. Had to disassemble and clean the head so often, then had to buy a replacement one. The plastic bit on the handle broke off. The engine and suction power is great, the hardware is inferior. It was one of the most disappointing purchases of my life.
I used to have the miele cx1 and while it is absolutely fantastic, the plastic parts are a let down. Now we have shark navigator and while bulky, it is incredible. So much suction power, big canister, lightweight and easy to manoeuvre.
They do but most do not recommend. Cx1 blizzard and I think some compact version of that as well.
Agreed, no to the CX line. Miele tried, they did okay, still not as good as the C line.
