We have a Miele Tango and oh my god best vacuum of my life. I can never go back.
If you want to protect your hardwood floors, do yourself a favor and invest in a Miele. Iâve had Dyson, Shark, and other brands, the Miele has had no issues, have had it over 10 years now. I have a C2 Complete canister model and use on mostly hardwood floors.
Same, getting a miele bag vac was such a gamechanger.
Go miele. You won't go back. We have a miele c2 and I've never experienced a more powerful, capable vacuum. Also since it's a bag vac it's incredibly easy to repair. Stay away from the more common brands like Dyson, vax, and shark. They're all different flavours of meh. Henry is fine but not great for doing your whole house, they're very heavy and unwieldy.
I got a Miele C2 in ~2017 after reading all his AMAâs. Now Iâm reminded I need to get it tuned-up for maintenance. The suction is strong as ever but the only downside is buying the vacuum bags which became a pain after I got a hairy dog.
I tried to save a few bucks by getting Amazon dupe cheaper bags and of course, it easily overfilled and exploded the dirt inside the vacuum cleaner. TLDR: buy Miele bags only
Agreed with the C1 cat and dog rec (it can do your carpets very well) but I wouldnât buy from Amazon and I would not recommend the bagless version.
Iâd still stick with the C1 itâs made in Germany. The C2 (while still great) is made in China. If you are only using it for hard floor get the C1 pure suction. If you want it to do carpets too, C1 cat and dog.
Check out r/vacuumcleaners As mentioned Miele and Sebo are top brands. You can safely ignore any shark or Dyson recs. Theyâre garbage. As is anything bagless.
Vacuum wars is a paid shark shill and not to be trusted. Hell Chris even appeared in a shark commercial. BIFL vacuums absolutely exist. Theyâre corded and bagged made by brands like Miele and Sebo.
*Cordless* Vacuums are disposable. **Corded and bagged** vacuums like a Miele or Sebo will last you 2 decades or longer. Ask r/vacuumcleaners
Miele, Sebo or Lindhaus. Check out r/vacuumcleaners
This is the answer! You can still get a Miele for only hard flooring.
Agree with J3ttf! The Miele is a worthy splurge!
Miele, Sebo, Henry, Lindhaus. Shark and Dyson are garbage. Check out r/vacuumcleaners
You want to ask r/vacuumcleaners. Miele or Sebo is the correct answer. Corded and bagged. Safely ignore any shark or Dyson recs. Find a local dealer and take a few Mieleâs and sebos for a test drive. Specifically the Sebo dart if itâs mostly for carpet.
I splurged and got a low-end Miele - the Miele C2 - and I have NEVER regretted the decision. Expensive, but the vacuum I've wanted all my life.
Miele C2. I have had mine for 5+ years now. Absolutely brilliant, has excellent suction power, good filters and multiple nozzle heads. Dream.
Went from a shark cordless to a Miele C2 and never looked back.
At first I was like nah I'm not paying for bags every 5 minutes bla bla bla... Amazon do an exact replica for a fraction of the cost. And the suction is just constant. The shark needed dismantling every 7 minutes to unclog something or other and I was constantly wondering if it was always like this or has it gotten worse. If the Miele breaks for any reason, I'll be replacing it with another one.
With the Miele C2 (alot less than 600 quid) you push the button on the back and the cord wraps up for you. Just putting it out there
