"It's become my DIY vacuum ... has fought it's way through a complete house remodel ... It's sucked up more rocks and saw dust then anyone could reasonably expect."
"Lifespan: My C3 is almost a decade old and performs as it did on day 1 with only 1 (common) issue with the wand collapsing. I was burning through vacuums every 2 years and wasting a ton of money (and resources tbh) on vacuums. So this was a big selling point for me."
"I have 2 Miele's, one that I inherited (around 25 years old) and one that I purchased (around 15 years old)."

"They are the quietest vacuums on the market with the highest suction, which is to say they still have incredible power at their lower, even quieter power levels."
"I was getting dried mud from my dogs and fur; thing thing is small but it will suck the dirt from deeeeep downs"
"A Miele bag lasts us about 7months, packs super densely (about 10lbs), and the vacuum still retains like 80% power (at worst) when the bag is nearing full, 90%+. A Miele at 80% power is a good day for most other vacuums."

"The Miele C3 is my recommendation for those wanting superior filtration. ... It’s not of the only two vacuums I can think of that are H13-rated HEPA. ... Most hepa is lower grade and less effective. ... It might bend be H14. ... Filters 99.999% of all particles down to 0.3 microns. ... Efficacy rating for 0.1 microns is 99.95%."
"Miele exhaust close to 0 particulate ... My 2000 dollar particle scanner begs to differ lol"
"Filtration: my allergies are basically gone after switching from bagless. This was worth the price of admission alone."

"quieter than any vacuum I've ever used."
"One thing that sold me on paying the extra $s for it was the sound level. ... Even at full suction it is much quieter than any other vacuum I've heard, other than a built-in. ... Friend had a Dyson stick model and that sounded like jet engine revving up for take-off in comparison."

"The bag alone does a better job filtering than the whole of any Dyson or Shark. Then it goes through a pre-filter, and then a HEPA or carbon filter. ... The inside of my C3 is basically spotless. I could eat out of it, and I've had it for 8 years, with two dogs."
"Bagless vacuums require a lot of maintenance to keep everything shipshape. My Miele canister is god-tier perfect."

"I saw the prices they are charging now. That's wild! I agree they are super expensive now. ... I fully agree that spending over $1000 on a vacuum is crazy."

"The Miele you have is not intended for carpet so don't go with that. ... Neither of those vacuums are going to perform well on carpet."

Depends on the needs. I’ve owned many premium vacs. Kirby, Rainbow, Hyla, Riccar, Sebo, Miele, and several cheaper vacs like Dyson, Shark, Kenmore, etc. This includes Riccar Tandem Air upright, Kirby Avalir, Rainbow E2 & SRX, Hyla N and EST Defender, Miele C3, Miele CX1 Blizzard, Sebo E3 and D4 Premium canisters. Canister - Miele Complete C3 Brilliant - easiest canister to use - best-filtering - most suction and airflow out of all canisters I’ve used - best-cleaning power nozzles - comes with my favorite hard floor tool - don’t have to bend over to do things with it Upright - Kirby Avalir - best-cleaning vac for carpet that I have used/ owned - highest airflow available (higher airflow = better carpet cleaning) - most aggressive power nozzle with firm brush roll - this is my heavy-hitter for maximum dirt removal from carpet - can do a ton of other things but carpet is where they shine - I do feel it does a better job cleaning than my Riccar Tandem Air did on our carpet. Water-based Filtration Vac - Rainbow E2 - when paired with the SRX PN3 v1 power nozzle, it cleans carpet very well. - like the Miele C3, it is H13-rated HEPA - parts availability is awesome - super easy to service - The Hyla is a little easier to use and pull around but it doesn’t have as much suction as the Rainbow E2.
r/VacuumCleaners • What's the best vacuum currently in existence, price not relevant? ->I have “favorite” vacuums in each category of vac and for different applications. However, my absolute favorite is my Miele C3 Brilliant, and I use it in tandem with my super high capacity air purifiers to stay ahead of the dust, germs, fur, pollen, etc. Very bad allergies over here. FOR DEEP-CLEANING WALL-WALL CARPET: Kirby Avalir w/ firm brush roll, new belt and bag. It’s a beast. This is my pic for cleaning carpet before extracting. BAGGED UPRIGHT: Sebo X4 Boost BAGLESS UPRIGHT: Dyson Slim Ball Animal BAGGED CANISTER: Miele C3 Brilliant w/ SEB228 power nozzle BAGLESS CANISTER: Rainbow E2 Black w/ PN3 v1 power nozzle CORDLESS STICK: Dyson V15 Detect AREA RUGS: Miele C3 with SEB236 power nozzle HARD FLOORS: Miele C3 with premium parquet twister floor head AUTO DETAILING / ATTACHMENT USE: Miele C3; or the Rainbow E2 Black & RainbowMate EXTRACTOR: Bissell BigGreen Commercial BG10 EXTRACTOR HIGH pH SOLUTION: Hoover Professional 7X Concentrate (amazing!) SHAMPOOER - ENCAPSULATION “DRY” FOAM: Kirby with Kirby shampoo and high traffic pre-spray STAIN REMOVER: Kirby Spot Remover Plus Oxy - but the Unbelievable Stain Remover is identical and is the same solution but without the Kirby label - and without the Kirby price. I scrub stains with a drill and drill brush attachment. ENCAPSULATION POWDER: Sebo DUO-P with the Sebo DUO-P CRB machine. It really does a fabulous job on high traffic areas and for absorbing foot traffic greases and oily soils. r/VacuumCleaners • Favorite and least favorite vacuum cleaners ->I see the appeal of a stick. I have a V15. It’s about 3 yrs old. It’s primary role is for in-between cleans, small messes. Touch-ups. But, if I am going to vac our main living areas or the entire house, I can get the job done a lot faster with my Miele. If I am going to deep clean the carpet, I don’t pre-vac with my V15. I use my Kirby. If I am going to detail a vehicle, Miele. If I am going to use attachments for deep cleaning, Miele.
r/VacuumCleaners • Cordless Stick Vacuums are perfect for most people. ->I am much more of an upright kind of guy simply because I get frustrated - very quickly - with the extra effort inherently involved with canisters, but I still use a Miele C3 as a daily machine specifically because it is the vacuum that requires the littlest effort to use and frustrates me the least. The C3’s electric hose is exclusive to it, and it doesn’t get tangled. It might be worth looking into if you value ease of use. They are a pleasure to use. I bought one for its foot levers (no bending over required), sealedH13 HEPA, power nozzle, and its quietness. They weren’t as expensive back then, but I’d buy it again. They aren’t perfect but I don’t know if a vacuum that is perfect. Aerus canisters are overall good machines but the entry level and mid level models are not sealed systems, and I don’t think the entry-level version has an exhaust filter at all. I could be wrong. I also like having adjustable carpet height, and foot levers. Some Miele C3 models had issues with an electrical connector but it was a manufacturing error. I think the Sebo canisters are capable of last even longer than the C3, but again like foot levers and value ease-of-use.
r/VacuumCleaners • Is Aerus/Electrolux still revelant and worth buying today? ->Asking for the "best" will certainly incite some (friendly) beef but I'll throw my (predictable) hat in the ring and say Go full fantasy and buy the Miele C3 Brilliant/Homecare+ model. It's Mieles C3 canister (quieter, longer cord, with onboard tools) and it's the most premium C3 canister with overheat protection, auto shutoff when parking, a filter timer, and, best of all, fingertip power/suction/brushroll controls. When being the one doing the vacuuming, fingertip controls are absolutely indispensable for convenience and agility when switching between floor types, surfaces, and attachments. If you or a loved one are not the one doing the vacuuming and you're concerned the fingertip controls might get damaged, get the Miele C3 Marin (or Homecare E). It has all the features of the premium C3 body minus the fingertip controls, which eliminates an expenny point of failure. FYI I have a used Miele c3 with fingertip controls from a cleaning company and it still works like a dream but the special hose is certainly a premium if you ever have to replace it (hopefully you won't). You should find a local Miele dealer (use the Miele website) and buy the Homecare models from a store to get the 5 year warranty. Mieles are stronger, quieter, and have a higher grade of filtration than Sebos (corroborated through measures like RTINGS and performance reviews, as well as anecdote). Anecdotally it also seems they pack their bags tighter than Sebos, so the bags last a little longer/the machine maintains good suction with a near full bag. Sebos come with a 7/10 year warranty and people like that they come from an industrial design background. They certainly look and feel industrial, which is also another point for Miele in my subjective opinion. The Sebo e3 And d4 come with fingertip controls, which is nice and a genuine boon. Yet again however I prefer Mieles hard floor tool (the parquet twister) and Mieles electro premium carpet brush (the seb236) over Sebos included tools. To give Sebo the best shot, you should try them both out side by side in a local vacuum dealer who's certified to sell both! Idt you'd dislike the Miele C3 but if you end up liking the Sebo e3 or D4, then go for it! You really can't go wrong with either.
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best BIFL vacuum cleaner ->Sure buddy, and the subway serves the same purpose as the shinkansen 😂😂😂 The opinions of the uninformed don't change the reality of how machines work. My parents Miele is old enough to vote, drive, and enlist, and it'll still clean better and quieter than a brand new Dyson v15. Surely better than a Samsung jet75, and I would know, I recommended my close friend get one (I like Samsung's empty station). It'll clean better than a gen5 as long as you use the vacuum for more than 10~ seconds (before the suction relief opens). I'm not even sure you know the difference between these machines from a mechanical perspective, and that's why it's so sad you're so loud and proud here. You're not American, but boy do you sound like my illiterate compatriots...
r/VacuumCleaners • Cordless Stick Vacuums are perfect for most people. ->Because you seemingly require a carrot before acknowledging the stick: it's good that Samsung and LG actually make multi cyclonic machines with bag docks, as they're really trying to make cordless vacuums happen. I like the bespoke jet design a lot. And it's probably what I recommend to my friends who really want a cordless, but I'm not gonna not give them the broadest understanding of the market. I'm glad you finally have a vacuum you like: what we're all saying tho, is that if you like that, you'll surely like a Miele. It's just facts. Nobody ~wants a worse stove, oven, washing machine, computer, they take what they can get and make it work. But even teenage mobile gamers know there are greener pastures with PC gaming (for example). No shame, or anything but that's just life. My mom hates the Dyson v11 I got her because it's too heavy on the wrist (but you loud folks don't think about the elderly or differently abled). She would literally rather wheel out the Miele (because she's used to it). My dad now does the nightly kitchen sweeping (I really need to get them a robot). I flew in the face of the sun, I knew the v11 was a bad choice, but even I was tempted by the siren song of marketing and shiny cheap plastic. I'd wager it's more inconvenient to need 4 batteries and emptying the bin 15 times to clean their house once. Again you're just not thinking about the endpoints of possibility here because THIS ISNT YOUR FIELD OF INTEREST. YOURE COMING IN A SPACE OF KNOWLEDGE AND ACTING LIKE THE PRINTING PRESS IS ELITIST BECAUSE YOUR HAND DRAWN BOOK MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER. If you've never even touched a Miele, do yourself a favor and try. It's impossible to beat the look & feel of real 😎😘 I may never drive a RR but I know it's a better vehicle than anything I'll ever have, and that's okay 🤷🏾♂️ Using a cordless stick requires upper body strength and wrist dexterity that a canister simply does not. Folks here come asking all the time for ability friendly vacuums, and canisters (and sometimes uprights) are the best option, but you wouldn't know that because you require feeling good about your purchases on the internet, rather than requiring full context. Even when performance reviews comments here he can be helpful, and he's prince asshole here. He just genuinely has useful knowledge (under that insufferable personality). It's interesting how you keep trying to spin and rationalize this for yourself (you should try and understand how you think first before seeking new info I guess). Your Samsung jet 75 is more difficult to service and repair than even a Miele brilliant. It's worse built, performs worse, and lasts shorter. Sure it's lighter (grossly), but it can't even safely suck up flour, let alone glass or pebbles, things that regularly exist in homes. Your and cats skin is blown all over your walls and furniture. You could deep clean your whole place and then go over it with a real vacuum (like a Henry) and be disgusted. People here try to share our lives experiences and knowledge with people trying to seek answers. Nobody's gonna pat you on the back because you feel validated by your purchase of a samsung product. That's literally how the psychology of capitalism & consumerism work, you're just unaware, seemingly. All I know is, if you have pets and a bad vacuum, people come to your home despite the cleanliness, not because of it. Lol I can't believe I just stream of consciousness'ed that but it was cathartic. It's just sad you WANT to "bash" vacuum elitists. Girl my shits better than yours and you're the only one talking about it, not me. That's just the T.
r/VacuumCleaners • Cordless Stick Vacuums are perfect for most people. ->Conveniently the vacuum with the highest suction is also the quietest: the Miele C3! The gala edition is available on the Miele website for $650 with an extended warranty. It's made specifically for hard floors and comes with the premium hard floor tool. The Miele C1 canister is just as strong, and only slightly louder, but much cheaper. The cheapest pure suction model is available for about $350. With a good vacuum, and taking your shoes off at the door, your home can be completely dust free in only a few weeks, and I'm talking completely! (Unless you have pets in which case 98% dust free is what you'll have to settle for 😅).
r/VacuumCleaners • Quiet Vacuum recommendations? ->Miele’s SEB236 has lights (It comes on a few C3 models) I own this and it’s great. Although I’d wouldn’t make a vacuum purchase solely on this feature IMO. It’s nice don’t get me wrong. But I’d honestly prefer the easily removable brushroll of Sebo’s ET-1 powerhead.
r/VacuumCleaners • Other Vacuums with Dual Directional Suction Besides Shark? ->Re: upright vs canister. I can’t say much more than old man has already said. But imo your best option is to find a local Miele/Sebo dealer and take a dart/felix/k3 and a Miele C1 cat and dog for a test drive to see if *you* prefer an upright or a canister. there is no right answer, it’s purely personal preference. For me, I prefer a canister. (Miele C3) It’s lights out on hard flooring vs an upright (sans Felix) IMO. But admittedly there is a learning curve for carpet because the motor doesn’t glide along as easy. What helped me get used to the canister was vacuuming *IN* to the room. Rather than backing out of it like so many do with an upright. I’m a total convert to canisters now, they’re very light in the hand, maneuverable and easy for above floor cleaning. The Felix is a good in-between. It has a hard floor attachment but is still an upright form factor.
r/VacuumCleaners • Need helping picking a Vacuum. Looking for suggestions! ->Pros: Filtration: my allergies are basically gone after switching from bagless. This was worth the price of admission alone. Lifespan: My C3 is almost a decade old and performs as it did on day 1 with only 1 (common) issue with the wand collapsing. I was burning through vacuums every 2 years and wasting a ton of money (and resources tbh) on vacuums. So this was a big selling point for me. Maneuverability: a canister form factor is way more versatile IMO than an upright. The wand makes it easy to get in to nooks and crannies that an upright just can’t. Not to mention the above floor cleaning ability. I’d also check out a Sebo k3 or e3. They’re every bit as good (arguably better) than a Miele and have a much longer warranty. Cons: Cost. That’s it. But if you buy a $1k vacuum and it lasts 20+ years, is it really *that* expensive? (Only buy genuine bags if you want it to last that long - don’t cheap out and get 3rd party bags)
r/VacuumCleaners • Need helping picking a Vacuum. Looking for suggestions! ->Miele, Sebo or Lindhaus. Check out r/vacuumcleaners
r/BuyItForLife • What’s the best corded vacuum of 2025??? ->What pile is the carpet? As long as it’s not shag You could do a Miele C1 pure suction with the accessory turbo hand tool for the stairs. The Miele is light enough where you can carry the motor in one hand and the wand in the other hand. I do it all the time with my C3.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for carpeted stairs and hardwood? ->None. That Miele is great but only for hard flooring. The shark and Dyson are junk. If you can stretch to ~$400 a Sebo dart is excellent and on sale until Tuesday I believe at your local Sebo dealer. If not, Kenmore 600 series pop and go
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->Definitely don’t buy a $75 cordless vacuum. It will be in the trash before the New Year then you’ll be looking to replace it, wasting even more money. If you can stretch slightly (a bit). Keep an eye out for Black Friday sales for a Hoover Complete performance or Kenmore intuition. Agreed with Performance reviews - used is a great option for that budget. A used Miele, Sebo, Oreck or Sanitare
r/VacuumCleaners • Any ideas for good vacuums $75 or less? ->The old ones yes do last more than a couple years. However, New sharks are an absolute joke. Disposable. A well built machine likely won’t have any issues in the first place, but if they do it’s easily repaired. For example I’ve had my Miele C3 for almost a decade and have had 0 issues with it. It will likely last another decade or longer before I give it to my kids or family. What’s your budget and flooring like?
r/VacuumCleaners • Is shark a good choice if I don't plan on repairing my vacuum? ->If you like an upright, stick with an upright. It’s really personal preference - there is no right or wrong answer. But IMO canisters do have some pros that uprights don’t. Canister pros: 1) Better suited for 50:50 or mostly hard flooring. Canisters come with a “straight suction” floor attachment that is ideal for hard flooring (no brushroll) which is what you want. A dedicated tool for the flooring you’re trying to clean. Most uprights don’t have this (sans for a Sebo Felix) uprights make use of an electric powerhead on hard flooring which isn’t ideal - even if it’s shut off and on the hard floor setting. 2) Much lighter in the hand: the motor glides along behind you, so you’re only really holding ~3-5lbs in your hand. Lighter than most cordless sticks! 3) Above floor cleaning: drapes, ceilings, trim, cabinets etc. Many uprights have hoses etc. but it’s just not the same 4) IMO more maneuverable under furniture, in tight corners and in stairs Cons: 1) Learning curve: to some people, it can feel like it’s a “ball and chain” and they trip over the hose and motor. IMO this can be mitigated if you learn to vacuum *in* to rooms rather than backing out of them like a lot of us do with uprights Personally I was an upright fan until I got my Miele C3, it took a few uses. But now I can’t go back to an upright. They feel so heavy and bulky in comparison (IMO, YMMV). Do you have a local vacuum store that sells Miele or Sebo? Stop in and take a Sebo dart, Felix, k3 or e3. Or a Miele C1 cat and dog, C3 Excellence or C3 cat and dog for a test drive to see which you prefer.
r/VacuumCleaners • Explain like I'm five what vacuum to Buy? ->Depends on your form factor preference. Upright or canister. Sebo and Miele are going to be the brands to look at. Canister: Miele C3, Sebo D4 or E3 Upright: Sebo Felix or Dart
r/VacuumCleaners • Best bagged vacuum? ->This is the answer! You can still get a Miele for only hard flooring.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best affordable vacuum in CA ->It’s difficult because we’ve been programmed with marketing dollars that a “vacuum” = cordless stick. Which is not the case! If you want something decent, you’ll need something *corded and bagged*. Miele Classic C1, Complete C3, Sebo k1, Henry Xtra. These are all very light in the hand (lighter than a stick) since the motor glides along behind you. Also - All of the brands above also sell an additional turbo brush meant for pet hair on furniture, I’d look at that accessory too!
r/VacuumCleaners • Why is it become so difficult to find a decent vacuum ? 😤 ->Only clean my own house, now. Let me sing the praises of my Miele C3! It’s about 7 years old. It was used daily in its early life because my dog was a heavy shedder. Also had another toy pup and 2 cats. There was a period where I was only vacuuming every other day, since my shedder had passed. 2024 was a bust health wise, so vacuuming was sporadic. When I was capable. March this year, the vacuuming was kickstarted hard due to carpet beetles. The bedrooms are dismantled, furniture moved, and vacuumed thoroughly once a week. With normal vacuuming at least every other day, sometimes daily. We have another shedder and 3 cats now. The vacuum cleaner is going strong. We do take care of filters and regular maintenance. When this one dies, I will buy another. It is one of the 3 vital appliances of keeping a clean house for me. I cringed when DH pushed going with a more expensive vacuum cleaner. The beater bar attaching to the handle sold me. Makes cleaning stairs a breeze. It’s been worth every penny!
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->Exactly what I was going to say, I have a Miele C3 we use for deep cleans and full house cleaning, plus an Electrolux ergorapido stick that’s used for spot cleaning and quick pickups
r/VacuumCleaners • Tried canister for first time (C1) from a vacuum noob. My super brief impressions so far versus a cordless stick vacuum. ->I would look at a Miele canister/barrel style vacuum, the C3 range is my favorite, with the parquet twister hard floor brush. Possibly the best hard floor vacuum attachment I've ever used. It has openings all around to pull in debris, and the bristles gently dust the floor as you vacuum. The bristles are very soft and gentle, and it has no motorized spinning bars or hard wheels on the head to tangle with hair or possibly scrape. And it's simple to clean, just run the end of the hose across the brushes a few times to pull off any stuck lint. The barrel part of the vacuum itself has rubberized wheels which won't mar or scratch. And you should be able to find a model with an air driven turbo brush for the carpets in addition to the parquet twister head. If not, those accessories can be bought as an ad-on. Not familiar with the specific models avaliable there, but any of the (preferably bagged) models with the parquet twister and the turboteq would be an excellent combo for you.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum cleaner for expensive Hardwood Floors? ->The airstorm, while good, is no better than a miele or sebo. I wouldn't pay the premium. Mieles and sebos are also sealed to trap dust. They are also more modern in design and easier to use (they have cord rewind while the air storm does not). There's nothing really bespoke about the airstorm. Underneath the top shell, the power nozzle is the same as ones avaliable for Miele models. The hose and other tools are generic off-the-shelf supplies etc. While it would probably last you a long time and do a good job, you might resent using it. I'd strongly suggest you try one in person before choosing, and frankly I'd save money and go with a nicer to use miele/sebo.
r/VacuumCleaners • Air Storm Plus HEPA vacuum ->What's the current Siemens vacuum that you currently have, and what do you find lacking in terms of it's performance? Any of the bagged and corded Bosch/Siemens canisters will outperform that Kenmore bagless vacuum any day You just need a pure suction, corded, bagged vacuum In terms of budget, I'd go Bosch/Siemens in the middle tier, Miele C3 and Sebo E1/K1 in the upper tier If looking at cordless, you can look at the Vorwerk ones
r/VacuumCleaners • [Germany] Budget vacuum cleaner for mid-size apartment with a few rugs under 200eur ->The C3's in the US are not the same ones as the rest of the world. They are wired and equipped with a powered brushroll for wall to wall carpet
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Mieles are great. Just that it's a lot more convenient if you have a long cord when you're dealing with big homes Lindhaus doesn't have a big dealer network, and they're focused on the commercial market, which is probably why you haven't heard of them Make sure to get the HF6 with the powerhead
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for huge house, hardwood + 5000 sqft rug/carpet ->If this is your primary vacuum, I wouldn't advise going for a cordless, bagless stick vacuum like a Dyson (although cordless sticks are good as secondary vacuums for quick pickups and touch ups Corded and bagged is best for a primary vacuum. Better airflow and suction (cordless often have the suction but not the airflow). Bags are just better for your allergies. Emptying the bagless vacuum results in a cloud of dust filled with the allergens you just sucked up A pure suction machine is sufficient, since you have hard floors with a rug or two. A turbo-brush (air driven turbine brush) would be good for cleaning the rug/carpet With your budget, you can get the best available Miele C3 (these are pure suction in Europe) with a turbo-brush option Sebo E2 Turbo, or K2 Turbo Numatic Henry CleanAir, Henry 160 Xtra Lindhaus HF6/Valzer if you happen to live in Italy 😂 The Numatics are going to be the simple reliable barebones option. Sebo the best value and built options. Miele the most refined and easily available option
r/VacuumCleaners • Moving out soon, looking for a good vacuum cleaner! ->I tried a Miele C3 and Sebo E3 at the store, as I recall, the canister weights were very similar. I think the Sebo powered head (ET-1) was lighter than the Miele powered head (SEB228). I saw the Kenmore 600 specs showing the weight at about 20 pounds, vs about 11.5 for the Sebo E3 canister, but I haven't seen the Kenmore in-person. I don't know if the canister itself is actually a bunch heavier, or if the Kenmore spec is maybe also including the hose, the rigid tube, and an attachment head?
r/VacuumCleaners • Explain like I'm five what vacuum to Buy? ->My Dyson v15 does a very good job on the the hardfloors. I use it multiple times a day as I have little kids and dogs. It is fantastic to just pull it off the wall and quickly clean the floors. My Miele C3 comes out on the weekend for a deep clean, especially the carpet and furniture. If I didn't have carpet I'd probably have gotten a C1. For the charge, my house is similar size but 50/50 carpet and hardfloors and the V15 has no issue cleaning it all in a single charge. Not sure how quickly it recharges TBH since when I'm done it stays in the charger for at least several hours before I need it again.
r/VacuumCleaners • Cordless Stick Vacuums are perfect for most people. ->I love my V15, it's surprisingly powerful for a stick. I use it everyday to touch up the whole house, so easy to just pop off the wall and go. On the weekend my Miele C3 comes out for the deep clean.
r/VacuumCleaners • My original Dyson lasted me 19 years. Are Dysons any good still? Or should I switch to a Sebo? Have carpet upstairs and on the stairs. Roomba takes care of the tIle downstairs. ->I did, best decision for wife happiness in a while next to the speed queen washer/dryer. I had Dyson big ball vacuums for the decade prior and they are hot garbage after 6-12 months of use. You have to tear apart the canister to clean the caked on dust and dried skin out of it for it to not smell like a moldy foot every time you turn it on. Oh, and the Hepa filter is a royal pain to change on the newer big ball models and if you don't change it (dyson doesn't tell you you need to every 6-12 months) it burns up the motor. The Meile C3 is a bagged vacuum that only has a hose that can cake up with that junk and that's unlikely. If it starts stinking, you change the bag and you have a new vacuum again. I'd rather spend $1,400 once (theoretically for 15+ years) and $80/year in bags than spending $300-500 every two years on a new crappy vacuum.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Trash all of them, none of those are good vacuums (except the Miele). Also look into the Simplicity Jill, Henry 160 and Sebo K2.
r/VacuumCleaners • what is best vacuum for rugs and wood floors? ->It depends on your house: Robot vacuum: have this if you do not have pets or wet dirts to smear around Cordless Vacuum: tbh I’m having fun with shark, just need to clear it each time I use it but that’s ok, this is for daily, I need this because I have pets and the bunch of attachments are great for furniture etc. Miele C series: good if you can get the parquet tool head. This is good for a major once a week jobs Wet dry: think tineco, some people swear by them, I used them for 1 week and could not stand the smell that lingers if you don’t dry it out right or that I’ve become the vacuum cleaner. I’d have the shark with a stick to use daily or crumbs + Miele C1/Karcher WD1 for when I want a big job done every now and then
r/VacuumCleaners • What's best vacuum for hardwood floors? ->Miele C3 is erg goed, en we hebben ook een Dreame robot stofzuiger.
r/nederlands • Over welke stofzuiger ben jij tevreden? ->> Consumer store brands like Shark and Dyson will not last that long And when they break, they are often non repairable. They'll throw in features like capacitive touch buttons just so that there's a complicated bit of microelectronics in there, and the thing doesn't work without that without some major hack-ery. And they skimp on filtration, so even the parts that should last essentially forever like an impeller blade, bearings, and motors - they get destroyed way faster. Meanwhile a Miele? The bag alone does a better job filtering than the whole of any Dyson or Shark. Then it goes through a pre-filter, and then a HEPA or carbon filter. The inside of my C3 is basically spotless. I could eat out of it, and I've had it for 8 years, with two dogs.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Agree with the C3! We have a BMD and Husky and it’s been incredible.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for pet hair in 2025? Need something that actually sucks (in a good way) ->if u are allergic or have allergic family members miele is the way to go. Every characteristic of sebo is better than miele, except the filtration. Filtration was the reason for me to pick up my miele c3 as well.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for huge house, hardwood + 5000 sqft rug/carpet ->i use a steam vacuum(polti fav80) to mop my floors almost daily. U pour 0.5 litres of water, and i just mop everything with hot steam. After dry vacuuming with my miele ofc. But i dont vacuum everyday, like once in 4 days. But mopping everyday, cuz it literally takes 15 minutes to wipe the most common used surfaces. Usually it's bathrooms, doorway and kitchen. This routine significantly improved the allergy situation in our family.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for huge house, hardwood + 5000 sqft rug/carpet ->Not sure why he's included Miele in that list. The Miele C3 line is solid, could be good for your purposes, and go on sale sometimes.
r/VacuumCleaners • What’s a good vacuum brand? ->Same situation, could not be convinced a Miele would be 4x+ better at 4-8x the price. Eventually got to try a c3 though and I'd concede that it sucks hard and probably filters better but the free accessories and the extra front lift roller on the model I got are a better value.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Best vacuum I’ve ever owned. Have Dysons too. Miele C3 worth every penny. Once you commit and use it and see how great it is, there’s nk turning back.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I am using Miele C3. And it's good. Pros: Good operating radius Telescopic suction arm Attachments are always handy Easy to drag/push while vacuuming I bought it a couple of months back so can't comment on suction power. However, it's a bagged vacuum so that shouldn't be a problem.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for the Best Vacuum Cleaner that Actually Lasts? ->miele complete c3! други марки дори не бих гледал повече. Само Miele 😁
r/bulgaria • Прахосмукачки… Да, прахосмукачки ->Miele is a premium brand for sure, but the price difference is well justified. I have C3 Complete, carpet, cats, and that thing sucks hard (the good kind of suck). Have only had it for a few years and so far so good in terms of reliability, but optimistic about it. That said, I previously had a Dyson DC-series upright - had it for 8 years with no problems. It was still alive, I just had to get rid of it because I was moving and couldn't take it with me. So I guess even on "lesser" brands you could get lucky. But through my childhood, my parents kept buying Hoovers and Dirt Devils and GEs and all kinds of "walmart specials" and I feel like we had a new vac every 2 years or so because the old one would just crap out. So I am definitely traumatized enough to consider it very frugal to be buying a more "premium" suck machine.

r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I replaced an old Dyson DC21 with the C3, and I'll tell you, the Miele canister is way easier to drag around than the heavy clunky old Dyson ever was.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->About a decade with our Miele C3 here, and I'm still not sure it was worth it. Sure it seems reliable, but the previous bagless Bissell lasted 10+ years too and it cost a fraction of the Miele - which *still* eats money with the requisite bag replacements. I also agree with your other comments - the canister is so godawful at maneuvering around corridors/corners, and will flip upside down if given half a chance. The cord is just slightly too short (a problem I've never had with any previous vacuum until this machine), and the plug heats up so much it feels like it's going to melt. My C3 is not the pet specific version, but its regular floorhead is a goddamn magnet for animal hair and requires multiple cleanings per use. So annoying.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Have the Miele C3 and it’s a joy to vacuum every time I do
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Miele C3 with the extra wide upholstery attachment without the roller. Set it on the highest suction, go slow. No shoes on the rug!
r/VacuumCleaners • Recs for a vacuum you’ve actually used on VERY thick 3”shag rug 🙏🏼 ->I have a Miele C3. I bought at a STUPID good value because I bought gently used and got a TON of attachments with it from the seller. I’ve also bought several of my own attachments…. For that rug.. Miele has something called a Velvet Roller brush floor attachment. It’s technically for hard floors, but I have a similar texture sisal rug and cats. I use the Velvet roller on the rug, on a low to moderate suction. It works really well to get the fur off without beating up the rug with the brush roller. The Velvet roller is meant for hard floors, to polish while vacuuming, but it works well at a low suction on finicky carpets and rugs with unusual texture.
r/VacuumCleaners • Life after a Dyson Outsize ->Popular doesn't mean good. It means lots of marketing. As someone who owns a v10 and a Miele c3 complete, the Dyson is a toy
r/VacuumCleaners • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I just purchased a miele C3 and love it. However you want an upright, so I have no recommendations in that category. However, I did watch this gentleman’s youtube channel for about 2 weeks before settling in on the C3. I’d recommend watching some of his videos. https://youtube.com/@performancereviews I have zero affiliation with him, or his channel. I just thought he did a great job explaining things.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best bagged vacuum? ->I went from a cheapie bagless upright to a Miele C3; it’s a world of difference! I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a bagless ever again lol
r/VacuumCleaners • Help me pick a bagged canister vacuum ->Favourites - Miele C3, certain early Dyson uprights (DC07, DC14 and DC15) Least favourites - current Dyson models, all Shark models ever, any Hoover brand sold by AusVac/Godfreys/VacDirect Australia
r/VacuumCleaners • Favorite and least favorite vacuum cleaners ->You’d be surprised… I had a bagless upright before my Miele C3, and the Miele is actually easier to use on my carpets for some reason
r/VacuumCleaners • Best bagged vacuum? ->My Miele C3 fails to vacuum newfie hair from carpets but my Dyson v15 manages it perfectly! Even from fluffy and sisal rugs. With both the Total and pet hair attachments.
r/VacuumCleaners • Ive been trying to find a vacuum, I scoured the sub for hours. Conclusion? r/VacuumCleaners hate vacuum cleaners and apparently i should just buy a broom. ->Dyson v15 detect with both fluffy and total attachments! This is what I have and really love to use. I also have a Miele C3 which is an acceptable vacuum in this group, but I really only like to use the Dyson v15. The Dyson even vacuums all the newfoundland dog hairs from sisal carpets which Miele miserably fails to do. As a bonus I like to vacuum dust and crap from sofas and tabletops and ceilings etc. which I would never do with Miele. So I recommend you go for v15. I have older Dyson models as well and cannot recommend those.
r/VacuumCleaners • Ive been trying to find a vacuum, I scoured the sub for hours. Conclusion? r/VacuumCleaners hate vacuum cleaners and apparently i should just buy a broom. ->That's not quite true. Look at Miele USA website -there are C3 models available in US with and without the electric brush. Electro brush (seb236) is sold separately in Europe at around 200-250 eur, on top of C3 price of around 200-250 eur (so, a total of 500,maybe 600 eur). Miele is just exceptionally expensive in USA - I'm guessing probably due to lower voltage (and thus more expensive motor required for the same wattage)?
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Love my D4. I had local stores with both the D4 and Miele C3 Complete and the D4 was the easy choice. SEBO E3 is the competitor to the Miele C3 for less $ and the D4 is just outright better for the same price as the C3. If you only have access to one or the other you'll be happy no matter what, but if you have the option the SEBO will be the better buy.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->This. I have C3 for full-on big job clean when necessary and the Miele triflex stick for spot cleaning in between.
r/VacuumCleaners • Tried canister for first time (C1) from a vacuum noob. My super brief impressions so far versus a cordless stick vacuum. ->I bought the C3 years ago, but I'm not so rich as to be able to splurge for the brush wand that doubled the cost. But I've wondered about it for years, does anyone have experience going from *without* to *with*? Is it worth the money? And BTW I love my Miele, but it is over-hyped and has plenty of flaws.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Miele C3 is the best vacuum I have ever had. Hands down. Edit: is this in MX pesos? My Miele Complete C3 Silence was €300...
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I bought a c3 a while back bc of all the vactech recommendations on Reddit. Last year I finally got a Dyson as a wedding gift, and my god I vacuum so much more now. Haven’t you he’d the c3 since. Granted I live in a small apt in NYC, but I’ll basically vacuum everyday whenever I see anything on the ground. Even if the c3 is much better at cleaning, it doesn’t mean much to me if it means I’ll only vacuum every other week vs once a day.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->This may not be that helpful to you, but fwiw, when my Miele C3 is on highest power, I can barely even budge it on my carpet because of how strong it's suctioning on. Suction power is important to me as well
r/VacuumCleaners • Do good vacuums still exist in Europe? ->Most will recommend Miele C1 but the C3 is a superior model with longer cord and wand (a common complaint of shorter cord and wand with C1) as well as running quieter if you’re budget allows.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best HEPA Vacuum for 900sqft house with wood floors & large low pile rugs ->I have a Miele C3 that I bought new 18 months ago. It still works but is largely screwed. Much of the plastic on the main unit is broken and held together with tape, the collapsable tube collapses with any pressure, there's a kink in the hose, the cord retractor has topped working and I've been through 2 x $100 turbo heads. I am using it every day though, sometimes 2 or 3 times. It's got a major flaw that if you open up the dust chamber (as you would to check the bag fullness) if don't push the plastic of the bag back in the holder, it will blow dust into the motor, killing it.
r/australia • Best vacuum ->Miele C3 for life gang! I previously had a Dyson Animal for almost a decade and the improvement was shocking to me. Of course, there had likely been enhancements to the DAs in the meantime.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->I own two Dysons and a Miele C3. I've had the Dyson Ball for about 12 years. I hated emptying the thing because of all the dust, etc, forcing me to always take it to the outside trashcan, which cut down on vacuuming in the winter and in the rain. Based on many, many recommendations I got the Miele and the powerhead jammed with pet hair within the first few minutes. "Not a problem, I'll just pull the roller and cut the hair off", I thought. The damn thing is not designed to be serviced except by a repairman. Seriously, even for hair wound up on the roller bar. After spending a couple of hours taking apart and putting it back together, I 3D printed an adapter to accommodate my Dyson tangle free turbine, which handles pet hair with practically no issues. That is a pretty good combination, to be honest, but that Dyson head is only about 4 inches wide, resulting in a lot of push/pull over the carpet. Plenty of suction from the Miele which, other than the servicing issue, I think is a good vacuum, but seriously over-priced--just like most Dysons. But after 5 years of the Miele-Dyson combo, I researched to see if the was anything new to tackle pet hair and found Dyson had improved things while Miele appears stuck. Enter the Dyson V15 Detect. I have not touched the Miele since I got the V15 a year ago. Good battery, good suction, handles pet hair way better than the old tangle-free turbine head and I can pull the roller bar, clear the wound up hair and be vacuuming again in less than 5 minutes. I still have the Miele and I should probably do a test with a clean bag and see how much of anything the V15 is missing (since the V15 will get all the pet hair). There are definite advantages to being corded and using bags, but those same things are also negatives in many circumstances. With the V15, I am less reluctant to vacuum and tackle patches of pet hair with vigor. With the Miele, I am pretty confident it is removing plenty of fine dust with the HEPA filtering and changing a bag is cleaner than emptying the V15 (which is far better than the old Dyson ball canister). I like my V15 for now. I'd love to see something better for pet hair from ANYBODY in the next 5 years, but especially from the robo-vacuum folks.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Favourites: Canister: Lindhaus HF6 and Sebo E3 Upright: Lindhaus Diamanté 300 Least favourites: Canister: any Kenmore made after 2010 Upright: Shark Vertex Honourable mentions would be the Miele S7, Miele C3, Sebo K3 and D4, and the Lindhaus Valzer ecoGREEN.
r/VacuumCleaners • Favorite and least favorite vacuum cleaners ->I can say the Miele C1,2, and 3 bags or like $45 for the XL ones and it’s 8 bags or for you, a year supply. though you might only go through 5-6 cause they do compact the dust pretty well. And it comes with 2 pre motor filters and 2 post motor filters. So you get to change it’s primary filter every time you change bags, the pre motor filter which is what keeps the motor clean and running for a long time every 4 bags and the post motor filter which is the the last stand filter for anything that might have made it through every 4 bags. Also air flowing through a MERV 13 filter several times is the equivalent to a hepa filter cause they filter the same .3 micron particles and hepa filters 99% and MERV 13 filters 75-85%. So this would be close if not better than “hospital grade filtration.” And if you must they sell a hepa grade post motor filter as well for most models. So bagged would be great for your needs, and for an extra $45 you get a machine that will last at least twice if not up to four times as long as any baggless vacuum. I also own a Dyson stick for the past 2 years and my dad owns a Dyson animal ball for the past 15 years and they work pretty darn well. Shark might not last as long but the don’t leak dust either and is cheaper from what I’ve seen so its also is a viable option. Best of luck!!

It doesn’t do our whole house without a charge, no big deal. There is one guy in particular (that I’ve noticed) that posts negative comments about Dyson and I just skip over his comments because it’s repetitive and I’ve found it to be untrue. We now have a Miele canister vac as well and don’t love it.

I’ve also had a Miele C3 and a handful of uprights in that time that don’t get as much use. While we have a Sebo Felix on order, the Dyson is probably always going to be our go-to.

r/VacuumCleaners • Please help me find a good mid/low range vacuum. ->I've got a Miele C3 something (afaik the only difference between them is the attachments) and it's pretty good. I have a lot of dog hair to deal with every week and it does a good job. tbh I can't imagine needing more suction power.
r/australia • Vacuum Recommendations? ->We have a Miele complete 3 which is great but a bit cumbersome for daily use. We recently got a shark stick vacuum during Black Friday and the amount it gets off the tile is insane. It's so easy to use on a daily basis as well. It's frankly horrifying considering we might vacuum once a week before and now we pull an entire little canister on the shark per day.
r/BuyItForLife • Can someone please recommend a good vacuum cleaner for laminate floorings? ->Absolutely. They also sell a C3 for hard floors. The C3 has more bells and whistles then the C1.
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->Hey, I’m sorry I didn’t get back sooner. If you have no carpets or really thin area rugs, get the regular C3. If you have wall to wall carpets or a thicker area rug, get the C3 Cat and Dog. The C3 Cat and Dog has a power head as the regular C3 doesn’t.
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->Sebo’s are overhyped i’m very happy with my miele C3
r/VacuumCleaners • An Honest Review - Sebo Felix Premium ->In my country the k3 has topped the list for years. With the E3 being second. The C3 is normally the 3rd. It is worth noting that the C3s here don't come with a powerhead only a turbo head.
r/VacuumCleaners • Consumer Reports - Best vacuums of 2025 list has two bagged vacuums ->I wanted to buy my first vacuum and was going to fall for their bullshit (marketing), but luckily, I found this sub and learned everything there was to know about good, real vacuums. I am so glad I ditched the idea of getting a Dyson and settled for a Miele C3. I'm very happy!
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->It wasn't just this sub. So many posts on other subs and I also spoke with people who had Dysons in my country (India). Some had good experience (mostly with the older V7, V8s). Some had horrible experiences with the latest models. I then decided, if I was going to spend that kind of money, I might as well spend it on the best and the safest option, which just works. The Miele C3 in my country (India) is 2000 watts and is a beast of a machine, and I love the HEPA filter. I have completely eliminated the need for a maid.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->I got the Miele c3 after going on the vaccum sub and it’s been absolutely amazing. Wouldn’t couldn’t go back.

Goodness knows how old that thing is! The cable return thingy is really fast and snappy whereas the one on my Miele C3 needs tugging a couple of times before it rewinds the whole cable. To be fair, it is a very long cable.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum I’ve found to date. ->Miele C3 owner for 3 years now (fully carpeted apartment, though no pets). Kicks ass.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->We just bought our 3rd Miele. My only regret is I don't have the powered carpet brush attachment. The air powered one is ok but does get bogged down on thicker carpet
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I’d grab a Miele C1 or C3 from John Lewis. Seems there’s a sale on! (Depending on which one fits your use case.) I’m not familiar with the C2. Others can comment on that
r/VacuumCleaners • I hate this vacuum! Looking for advice on replacing it please. ->Miele C3. With a fresh bag and filter, I can't move the head on carpet without opening the vent slightly. It would suck an apple through a garden hose.... I should call her.
r/australia • Vacuum Recommendations? ->I got a Miele C3 recently and it's great. Also have mostly vinyl plank, but it handles the thin carpets and rugs well too (not sure it's meant to be good on shag carpets). I've got cats and even though it's not the cat and dog version it does well with hair, tufts, litter and kibble.
r/VacuumCleaners • Explain like I'm five what vacuum to Buy? ->Not cheap, but I suggest Miele C3. Hoping it’s the last vacuum I ever own, love it so far.
r/VacuumCleaners • An Honest Review - Sebo Felix Premium ->Is the CX1 bagless? I have the C3, it's pretty good, bagged vacuums work better.
r/australia • Vacuum Recommendations? ->Sebo or Miele. Getting embedded sand out of carpet is all about suction power. Cordless vacs just don't have enough power.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for getting litter pieces out of carpet? ->I have the Miele Duoflex and the plastic on it feels sturdier than the plastic on my Miele C3.
r/VacuumCleaners • Good quality cordless stick vacuum cleaner ->If you really want "built to last" for that range (or a little above) go to your local reputable vacuum shop and explain your situation, what you like in a vacuum, and most likely they will have plenty of maintained or refurbished used options from good brands that all are built to last with replaceable parts. I bought my used Miele C3 from my local shop for $600 (it was over $1200 new) and they gave me the same warranty that a new one would come with, a free tuneup, extra bags and filters, and two extra floor heads! They definitely will have used vacuums lower in price as well.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Vacuum under $225 that is reliable and strong? Preferably upright vacuum? I'm very confused. ->Why? I use a C3 as my garage vacuum(because there's no reason to bring it inside), there's nothing to write home about. Use a V15 with fluffy optic for the house and there's no reason to plug the c3 in. The Miele is fucking annoying and likes to roll over. I've had the older dysons and yes they were much worse/trash, but for a V15 vs C3 there are no advantages to make me want to plug and be attached to a hose.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I spent about two years dithering and then a month researching and got a Miele C3 to replace my falling-apart and LOUD Dyson Animal. It was a good choice. Quiet and no dust. I did remove all the carpeting in my house, but still need to vacuum up the cat tumbleweed under the bed and sofa, as well as the “welcome” mats inside the house where I leave my outdoor shoes.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->I’ll throw in another vote for the Miele C3, but that’s mostly because it’s what I own and it’s been fantastic. That said, there might be an even better option out there specifically for dog hair. I just know the C3 has handled my messes without clogging or choking out like my old Shark used to. (Upgraded from a Shark myself, so I feel your pain there.) If you’re still deciding, definitely [check out the big spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jcYjwx_fqSUOVxAn4F_UbbskkHCNPiPU48CZRgM4eAg/edit?usp=sharing) that’s pinned in a few of the vacuum threads. You can sort by specs like suction, bagged vs bagless, cord length, etc., which makes it way easier to see what fits your situation before spending big.
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy for pet hair ->You do realize how loud a shop vac is compared to something like a Miele c3, right? They're a good 5-15 dB louder depending on the model, which is a massive difference.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for the Best Vacuum Cleaner that Actually Lasts? ->I'm joking haha. I have a miele c3 currently, and also have had the older version of what the c2 became, as well as an electrolux. I am very much not a fan of disposable dysons or sharks 😂
r/VacuumCleaners • Is there a affordable alternative to the Dyson V15 vacuum? ->For BIFL you gotta go with the Miele. Our C3 was a wedding present and outside of two services (just tune ups) that baby has been doing it’s thang for 8+ years. Meanwhile Dyson has a new model every 6 months
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Miele C3 met als extra een brede zuigmond voor harde vloeren. Erg kort snoer, veel herrie/ weinig zuigkracht, korte "zuigbuis" dus krom lopen.
r/nederlands • Over welke stofzuiger ben jij tevreden? ->I only use Miele. I use the bagged canister design for the whole house and for every mess. Even pet hair.

r/VacuumCleaners • Moving out soon, looking for a good vacuum cleaner! ->The comment regarding the handle creaky sounds and audible air leak... I have found the audible air leak in multiple Miele canisters (over the years) AND Sebo. I don't think this is a change from previous models I've used. It just seems to be a reality that they don't see as a significant concern (ie. likely to not affect performance in a meaningful way, but preventing it would probably require fittings that would likely add cost, decrease dependability, and in the very least, wear down with not much use to the point that they ultimately start leaking). I really don't think it likely makes a noteworthy difference and they know the benefit:cost situation. As for the creaky handle -with even slight "give" in it, I have definitely noted it, but again, I believe it is one of those, "it doesn't actually affect anything in a meaningful way, but it does allow for the fit and connections as intended" situations. I could be wrong, but if it were an issue, I think warranty costs alone would discourage them from continuing with the practice. BUT, again, there is no doubt, that it is a very real thing. I haven't had an issue with the swivel of the ET-1 but prefer how light and maneuverable it feels to me. The low profile is also much better than \*most\* of the high end power heads I've used. Thank you for the review and thoughts. It is nice to hear about experiences!
r/VacuumCleaners • Sebo E3 Real World Review ->Have a Miele canister. Paid a fraction of the price for it when I found one at the thrift store that someone neglected to clean their pet hair out of - but outstanding vaccuum.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Twenty seven years ago we purchased a Eureka canister that broke within a year. We ended up with a Miele. That thing still runs and I use it to clean my unfinished basement twice a year. My new Miele canister lives on my first floor for hardwood and my Sebo upright in s upstairs for carpeting. The Sebo is heavy but it’s a beast that will definitely outlive me. I now have two very cheap cordless vacuums that I use like Dustbusters. I’ve never understood why people buy that Dyson crap. There are complaints everywhere. There’s a difference between a company that spends money on engineering and quality and one that spend it on advertising. Dyson spends it on advertising. I’d vote for Miele everyday.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->The canister is superior for vacuuming furniture, drapes, blinds and other things that accumulate dirt. I use the canister for actual cleaning & my stick for quick pickups. Go cheap with the stick & buy the Miele.
r/VacuumCleaners • Tried canister for first time (C1) from a vacuum noob. My super brief impressions so far versus a cordless stick vacuum. ->My ex didn't like dragging around the canister vacuum I bought in 2005 and would buy a new Dyson or Shark stick vac every year. My Miele outlasted my marriage 💃🏽
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->My Miele canister vac is 20 years old this year!
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Totally feel this. Miele = beast mode suction, but stick = grab and go. Keep both! Miele for deep cleans, stick for daily chaos 👌
r/VacuumCleaners • Tried canister for first time (C1) from a vacuum noob. My super brief impressions so far versus a cordless stick vacuum. ->Going off your requirements including 80% carpet 20% hard floors, 2 cats, reliable and easy to repair: you’re looking at $550+. So Sebo Dart or Felix if you want an upright or Miele canister.
r/VacuumCleaners • What vacuum cleaner should I buy? ->Miele. Don't need the super duper pet model. We have 3 dogs and a standard Miele canister model handles it all easily.
r/dogs • Best vacuum for pet hair? ->When I bought my newest vacuum, I went to Consumer Reports. I use them for so many things! They recommended my microwave that has been working for 21 years… Anyway, I used them recently (a year or so ago) for vacuums, their top rated one was a Miele canister model. I’ve only ever used upright models, but I splurged (horrifically expensive) and I’m completely amazed. I’m addicted to vacuuming now. I will have this vacuum for the rest of my life. You can also ask for recommendations on r/buyitforlife.
r/internetparents • Internet Mom/Dad, what're the BEST vacuums overall? ->It's just simple physics. Internals clogs due to how they're made meaning they dinner then later break. Batteries also fail soon. But yourself a good canister vacuum they'll last for life, like the Sebo or Miele. Both made in Germany. The Sebo bags are cheap and are winning all the awards nowadays. Great machine for $500.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->I have a CXT vacuum at home. I originally bought it as a way to trick my toddler into helping me clean, but I've found that it's great as a quick, convenient cleaning tool. However, it doesn't really suffice on its own. I keep a Miele canister for serious cleaning jobs and have robot vacuuming running daily as well. I also have mostly hardwood flooring and low pile rugs - heavier carpeting would also not be good for the Makita. It has its place in the right ecosystem.
r/Makita • Makita vacuums for home use ->I’m in the Miele camp. Mine is about 10 years old and still going strong. I’ve had to replace parts over the years but that comes with the territory. All of my clients have hard flooring and some rugs scattered throughout, so the canister works well for me. I just have the carpet attachment that runs on the suction from the vac, and it’s fine. I’m not dealing with heavy pet hair however. They also have models that feature an electric powered carpet head but those start to get very pricey. I rarely have to mess with the canister. Miele is a different kind, it’s designed much better than “normal” ones that drive me nuts. The attachments are easy to access and change out, and I can literally do ceiling to floor maintenance with them. Cobwebs in the corner? It can reach. Need to dust top of the door trim and baseboards? Easy peasy. And I’m short, only 5’3”. I do not understand how yall use an upright for whole house cleaning. Every one I’ve ever used, I had to fight the terrible little scrunched up hose they usually have, trying to drag the vac and use the hose at the same time is a nightmare. And it just doesn’t reach well. I prefer a vac over hand dusting so I will stick with what works. With the Miele I can do the lampshades, all the window trim, you name it. Good luck!
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->My cleaner encouraged me to get one when he started, after showing me that my current upright wasn't working well. I personally prefer an upright but I did get the Meile
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->I found a used Miele canister on Facebook marketplace, and that thing is awesome. It does require bags (I don’t mind, better for my allergies and I can get generic ones via Amazon). Bonus, it’s a nice enough vacuum that when if it breaks in the future, it can be repaired.
r/Frugal • Favorite/best affordable vacuum cleaner? Preferably something that handles cat hair. ->Miele is definitely the best but so expensive. A very very good alternative is the eureka mighty mite. I’m surprised no one recommends it (this is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve recommended it on Reddit and never see it mentioned!)
r/internetparents • Internet Mom/Dad, what're the BEST vacuums overall? ->I use a Miele at someone’s house and I love it, the suction is amazing. If you want something similar for way cheaper I highly recommend the Eureka Might Mite. It’s like $100 and it has the same suction as a Miele. It’s plastic so it’s light, the two tubes together are really long so easy to reach ceilings for cobwebs and stuff. It doesn’t last as long like a Miele would but it’s freakin awesome.
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->If you want a high quality vacuum that does everything well check out the Miele canister models.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Vacuum for Carpet? Need Something That Actually Works ->Of those that you are considering the Miele wins hands down. Also add SEBO to your list....
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for the Best Vacuum Cleaner that Actually Lasts? ->SEBO for upright. Miele for canister. Miele has slightly better filtration than SEBO but I personally prefer SEBO canisters and uprights due to better warranty and cost of ownership
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for the best bagged HEPA vacuum with a sealed system ->I'm probably going to get down voted for this but I'd stay away from Riccar. They aren't what they used to be. SEBO and Miele are the ones that get the most love and for good reason. I prefer SEBO above all because they're 100% German made machines, they have a great ecosystem, are easy to self service and parts are readily available. They have great filtration and bags are inexpensive. As for ZeroG, I'd be skeptical of them. They are a small company and every time I look at their website they are always out of stock. They use proprietary bags that are not available anywhere but their own website. What happens if/when they go out of business? Can't get bags for them and the machine is useless. I will say they make a nice looking machine with awesome features and performance. I'd buy one second hand if I could find one but if I paid full price and couldn't get service or parts then I'd be upset.
r/VacuumCleaners • Recommended vacuum for my son's first house ->Miele canister, any model.
r/VacuumCleaners • advice needed: high-end vacuum that's available on amazon ->I'm not a housekeeper, but I have a Miele - going on 20 years now. Its amazing. It makes cleaning go so fast. I have a cordless LG that I use for quick tidy ups in between deep cleans, but for monthly deep cleans, I use the Miele and the place just feels SO CLEAN afterwards.
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->I’ve got a Miehle canister and I love it
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Not sure if this would be worthwhile for you, but I decided to buy a used Miele canister so that I could try a canister in my house. I just got it the other day, so the jury is still out on if I will stay in canisters, but if you’re curious about canisters, it might not be a bad idea to buy a used one (make sure the bag compartment is clean, if dirty its no good). Then you get to try it out for as long as you want, and if you don’t like it you can sell it and get most (if not all—depending on how good of a deal you get) of your money back. I know many suggest going to a dealer to try before you buy, and while that would help, in my case I would prefer to clean my own floors in my own home. This lets my wife try it a few times too.
r/VacuumCleaners • Explain like I'm five what vacuum to Buy? ->I have Miele canister vacuum for my own home. I can't imagine having to change its bag after two or three homes! They'd have to be massive castles.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Vacuum for Professional Cleaning Service? ->I've had my Meile for 10+ years. It will not quit, wont die. I love it.
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->I’ve always kind of wondered about that too. Consumer Reports consistently puts Kenmores way up the list while Miele and Sebo get a lot more love here. Part of it is probably how CR weights things: price-to-performance, availability in big box stores, and maybe even the way they test suction vs. long-term reliability. Kenmore also has broader distribution in the U.S., which probably gives CR more samples to work with. I can’t speak to kickbacks or partnerships, but it wouldn’t shock me if brand relationships played a role in how much attention certain models get. All I know from experience is that I went from a bagless Shark to a Miele canister, and the difference in how clean my carpets look and feel is night and day. If you prefer to look at it more objectively, there’s a really helpful [vacuum comparison spreadsheet](https://www.reddit.com/user/lacking_foyer48/comments/1lj76h3/vacuum_cleaners_compared_comprehensive_datasheet/) another Redditor put together where you can line up all the specs across brands. For me, once I saw the numbers side by side, it was pretty clear why Miele gets the reputation it does.
r/VacuumCleaners • Consumer Reports Reviews of Vacuum Cleaners ->Thanks for the explanation. I’ve tried my families Miele canister when I lived with them and never got the hang of it. Would the Felix and the Lindhaus valzer be about the only two worthwhile options?
r/VacuumCleaners • An Honest Review - Sebo Felix Premium ->Miele canister, almost any model. That is all.
r/BuyItForLife • Best vacuum cleaner? ->They are my favourite! I’ve also gotten a few of my clients to buy them when their vacs have broken down, they don’t regret them 😄
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->My Miele canisters (I have two) have both been perfect forever-- one is around 25 years old, one is about 18-- without maintenance beyond changing the filters. I have replaced a few of the attachments. I used both of them professionally for several years as well. They were refurbished when I got them! So worth the money.
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->Miele is the best vacuum I've ever used. I first tried one at a clients home years ago. They're so powerful and effective, they're quiet, they're easy to maintain and clean. The designers/engineers thought of everything, even considering cord length in regard to average room size for the model I have. Good attachments too! Thyre pricey, but you can get them certified pre-owned in great condition. Get a bagless car and dog version if you can!
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->Miele Canister by far the best non disposable dust sucker (Staubsauger) Dust sucker Auf deutsch. Made in Germany 🇩🇪
r/BuyItForLife • Best vacuum cleaner? ->Don't be a CF open your wallet buy a good quality Miele or Bosch. You can find them 2nd hand on fakebook marketplace or fee bay. Theseswill last and you will not be spending $ every 3 to 5 yrs looking for another POS to replace the POS you currently have.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for a vacuum for pet hair, medium pile carpet, under $350 ->Bagless is trash! I’ve had all the popular name brands. They all end up reeking and blowing dust. Just about any high end bagged vacuum will kick a bagless’s butt. If it takes a paper bag, it’s not high end. Look for heavy (expensive) cloth type bags. You’ll never go back. I personally love my Miele canister vac. It’s about 13 years old now, and still running just like when it was new. It doesn’t blow dust everywhere, is easy to swap the bag. And doesn’t require any extra cleaning or maintenance. Just keep the bag replaced as necessary, and replace the HEPA filter once a year. It’s not cheap, but you gotta pay to play when you want nice things. But honestly even with the high premium price of the vacuum and its bags/filters. I still think it’s more economical than replacing a bagless POS every two to three years.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Vacuum Cleaner for Carpet ->I don’t think I’d ever buy another Dyson, and I’ve used plug-in upright, and the handheld V6. Bagless vacuums require a lot of maintenance to keep everything shipshape. My Miele canister is god-tier perfect. Expensive, though.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->100% agree. They’re wonderful vacuums for personal use but from a cleaner standpoint, they don’t make sense. They’re not cleaner friendly as far as speed and efficiency. I’ve got a client that has one and I use the hardwood floor vacuum head instead of the brush roll because the carpets are low pile. The amount of times I’ve had to stop and flip the canister, the attachments drop from the hose, having to switch attachments. We don’t have that kind of time in someone’s house, unfortunately. It’s a great little vacuum and definitely an investment. I’d love to buy one for my own home but upright and bagless are better options for professional cleaners.
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->I love Miele vacuums. Like you, my client has one and it’s by far the best vacuum I have used. **However,** I would never purchase one to use in a client’s home. I ask that my clients provide a vacuum or I will use my company vac if they don’t have a good one. I would buy a Miele in my own home but unfortunately, it’s not very “cleaner friendly” because it’s a canister vac. There’s a lot of upkeep and maintenance you’ll have to do with a Miele vac, especially if it’s going in many different homes. It’s not the easiest to disinfect between services. I’d stick with a bagless vac for cleaning multiple homes. There are some great options that are comparable to Miele that don’t come with the price tag and the maintenance.
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->I get it. I have owned a couple of Dyson’s… one was a canister bought about 20 years ago and one was a cordless bought about 8 years ago. I kept the Canister going for 8 years but had to replace more than a few brittle plastic parts and it was held together with Epoxy at the end. The cordless battery didn’t last 6 months and I had to replace the canister assembly within 30 days. The clear plastics are simply very brittle in my anecdotal experience. Also have a Miele that was once dropped down the stairs and still works like new. It is 10 years old. I appreciate the convenience of cordless. I actually don’t see bagless as a positive. They objectively release a lot of contaminant’s into the air when emptying. Sure you can empty it outside… but having to go outside every time you use it is not convenient. With a good bagged vacuum, the bag helps filter the air and the bags last a long time. The holy grail for me would be a good bagged cordless vacuum with swappable batteries. We bought a Samsung Bespoke Jet which is pretty close to the ideal… but expensive. Bagless but has a charging base with a bag and filter in it that automatically empties the canister without any dirt getting into the air. Much more quiet than the Dyson, feels better made and includes two swappable batteries with a charger on the base for the 2nd battery.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->I had an OG Dyson canister that we bought 20 years ago... and the plastics they used were super brittle then just like now. We got 10 years out of it... BUT we had to replace multiple parts and it was held together with epoxy and fiberglass patch kit tape all over. It was a mess. By comparison we have a Miele canister now that is 10 years old and is perfect.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I have a lower end Miele as my main vacuum and have had it for 10 years and it is like new... however I did supplement with a Dyson cordless for awhile and it went through a battery every year and I had to replace several broken plastic bits on the cannister.... also those make a mess when you try to empty them..... No cordless vacuums are BIFL.... HOWEVER we did get a Samsung Bespoke Jet cordless vac 2 years ago and I love that thing. Pricy for a cordless but it is way better quality than the Dyson and has a charging base that also contains a vacuum/bag that sucks the dirt out of it into a bag... so completely mess-less. It also has two batteries that can be swapped in seconds like a power tool. The second battery mounts to the dock in a second charger. It is also quieter than the Dyson and the Miele.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I had an older one… bought it over 20 years ago. It broke constantly for its 8 year life and I was always gluing together its brittle plastic or ordering parts. Miele that I replaced it with was a huge upgrade.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->I don't know about Miele. Our Miele canister is 10 years old and the wand broke. Took it to the vacuum store and it's $200CAD to replace. As I was considering ordering the replacement I mentioned the power cuts in and out on the brush head and was told it's a common failure that requires a new hose. $200CAD to replace the hose. The head has been squealing as well and that's $180CAD. So to replace just the parts costs $580CAD to attach to my 10 year old canister or I can buy a new Miele C1 for $399 or a C3 for $699. I'm looking into SEBO as Miele was not what I expected.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I have a Shark for work and a Miele canister vacuum for my own house! I love them both but for different reasons. The ease of an upright when I’m working can’t be beat. The Miele is so powerful but heavy!!
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->My Miele has been going to 25+ years without any repairs or issues
r/homeowners • Best (cost/performance) vacuum cleaner? ->I’ve always had a Dyson but recently I used a Miele and holy god they’re good! Next one I buy will be a Miele for sure!
r/newzealand • Briscoes sale - vacuum cleaner recommendations please!! ->none, save your money and get a vacuum that isn't overpriced and unreliable like every shark is, for $400 you can get a really decent spec miele or sebo, both of which are fantastic for carpets
r/VacuumCleaners • Which Shark vacuum should I buy? ->Nicest home vacuum I’ve ever used was a Miele, but nothing compares to an industrial shop vac. This thing will suck up dust, hair and all of the contents of a 50L fish tank and not miss a beat. https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/v508
r/australia • Vacuum Recommendations? ->Same it took me years. The amount of vacuums I bought in between that time (since I could only spend about $ 150) I could’ve gotten multiple mieles! I finally used after pay!!
r/housekeeping • Vacuum recommendations ->I’ve had my Miele for 10+ years and I haven’t had to replace anything…
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I've had a Miele for 20 years. Would buy another if this one ever dies. One thing that sold me on paying the extra $s for it was the sound level. Even at full suction it is much quieter than any other vacuum I've heard, other than a built-in. Friend had a Dyson stick model and that sounded like jet engine revving up for take-off in comparison.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->My Miele sucks and it blows too.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I got a Miele right when my sister gave me a Dyson. Honestly, I like the Miele better.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->If you can afford it a Miele will last you forever. Ours is about 20 years old and all we do is give it a good clean once a year and it works great. My only other tip is that we don't use it for the whole house in one go. We do a couple of rooms then let it cool a bit by moving stuff in the other rooms before vacuuming. I think that is what's saved it from burning out. But it could also be nonsense. Anyone who knows better I'd love to hear from you.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I saw the prices they are charging now. That's wild! I agree they are super expensive now. Guess when I bought mine they weren't as known or something because it was basically $200 with inflation factored in. I fully agree that spending over $1000 on a vacuum is crazy.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Miele is the best — I’ve had one for about 17 years and I don’t see it dying anytime soon.
r/BuyItForLife • Can someone please recommend a good vacuum cleaner for laminate floorings? ->Miele. No hesitation.
r/BuyItForLife • Can someone please recommend a good vacuum cleaner for laminate floorings? ->Anecdotally I have a miele and a Dyson and it's not even close, the miele is a powerhouse and the Dyson definitely lost power over time. Actually I take it back. We tossed the Dyson. Miele is still going strong after 15 years.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Vacuum repair man who was an authorized Miele shop (amongst other brands) told me that Miele had the best reliability. I’ve had one for about a decade at this point and it’s great.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Vacuum cleaner recommendations ->I have two Miele. I don’t need to upgrade. I hope I never need to replace them either.
r/VacuumCleaners • Did anyone upgrade their vacuum cleaner for Black Friday deals? ->MIELE Been going strong for over 10 years
r/australia • Vacuum Recommendations? ->Yes, I also voted Miele. It’s has solid performance.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for the Best Vacuum Cleaner that Actually Lasts? ->Usually a Henry or miele and you can't go wrong with those immo
r/VacuumCleaners • Vac recommendations ->I'm kinda surprised dyson is up top. I got a miele 6 years ago and it's going strong. Love this thing, best vac i've ad.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->> Every part is replaceable. If you can ever get them to ship you the parts. I had a Dyson recently that I ended up just giving away via curb alert because a simple part near the roller just up and broke one day. We called, emailed, and got confirmation that we would get a replacement part via warranty...and they never sent it. We called + emailed again; still no part. After a third time we just said fuck it and got a Miele. More expensive but we can get parts for it easily if it breaks just driving to a local store.
r/homeowners • Best (cost/performance) vacuum cleaner? ->The answer is always Miele or Sebo
r/VacuumCleaners • Recommended vacuum for my son's first house ->My kids asthma would flare up when using our old Shark. We got a Miele and don’t have any problems when using it with the house closed up.
r/VacuumCleaners • Why Are Bagged Vacuums Making a Comeback? ->The only truly good vacuum is Miele. Dyson vacuums are overpriced garbage.
r/newzealand • Briscoes sale - vacuum cleaner recommendations please!! ->A Henry should be at the top of your list, since it's affordable and manufactured in the UK. You can use variety of parquet brushes and the horsehair ones would be great for LVP. A miele or Sebo would be more expensive and would come with extra bells and whistles such as self retracting cords and better ergonomics, storage. If you need to clean rugs, you can find a turbo attachment. These options will last you 15+ years. If you want something cordless, Dyson fluffy rollers are good for quick pickups and won't hurt the flooring. The V8 absolute package includes a fluffy roller and goes on sale intermittently to be within your budget. Keep in mind while it might be a space saving option and convenient, cordless stick vacuums usually last a couple of years before big problems arise, hence why the main recommendation is for bagged, plug in vacuums.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum Recommendations: No beater bars for LVT Coretec floors ->Any Miele will deal with fur, the cat dog is just a power head and their air clean filter which has carbon which helps with the animal smell. Otherwise, the C3 Kona (comes with HEPA filter instead of carbon filter) will be just fine for you. The C3 has a complete sealed system which is better than C1 if you have issues with allergies. Also, remember, you buy a Miele or Sebo…you’ll never buy a vacuum again. Any Miele is good though and most importantly, lightweight!
r/VacuumCleaners • Help me pick a bagged canister vacuum ->My Miele is 25 years old and I just use it for cars now, the Shark upright handles Border Collie hair so much better. I don't know any Dyson owners who have had one last for 10 years.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->Miele. Easy to repair, high quality.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->We had a Miele and it’s quiet enough that our dog wouldn’t bother with it. It also has a multi-stage HEPA filter and the canister, although small, lasts a bit. It’s a solid vacuum. Slightly annoying to store and pretty expensive for the bags and filters, but if cost isn’t a factor, it’s good for children, pets, and maintaining a cleaner air environment.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Miele is 100% worth it.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Seconding Miele. It's bloody amazing, it's durable. Will last you decades. Even my friend who is a professional cleaner says Miele is the very best. She finds Henry hoovers very basic and barely good enough in comparison to a cheapest contemporary Miele. Personally I also worked with many different vacuums too and I despise Dyson. Absolute garbage that's waaaaay too expensive for a pile of crap it is. I own Miele too. If it somehow breaks beyond reasonable repair I'll buy another one.
r/BuyFromEU • Looking for European cordless vacuums ->Miele. Great suction, versatile, bags close up well so you’re not spilling dirt trying to empty it, easy to disassemble to pull fur out when it gets stuck. Lasts forever, I think the one I have is around 25 years old.
r/dogs • Best vacuum for pet hair? ->We have Dyson, Miele and Henry. Dyson cordless is the best for daily convenience but not so good for a deep clean and it's quite high maintenance with all the charging, emptying, filter washing, getting hair off the brushes etc. Miele is solid and the suction is bonkers but I wouldn't use it for building work etc as I want to keep it nice. Henry is the work horse for cleaning the log burner, mud, brick, sick. You can chuck anything at him but he falls over a lot.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->I had a Miele vacuum for a few years when I lived in an apartment with hardwood and very low-pile carpets. We then began having a problem with dust mite bites, so I decided to switch up to what I thought was just an overhyped machine, a Dyson. I first vacuumed with the Miele then right after that with the Dyson and the Dyson picked up a TON of dust/dirt, etc. (probably mites too) that the Miele didn't get. After I tossed the Miele, we never had issues with mites again, and without changing vacuuming habits or frequency. There may be other, cheaper options than Dyson, but I wanted to throw in this comment about my experience with the Miele vacuum--not impressed.
r/homeowners • Best house vacuum ->Here to validate you. Vac people are kinda dicks. Have had a refurbished Dyson v7 for a decade. Never cleaned nor changed a filter. Still sucks up dirt. Believed the hype and bought a Miele. I hate it. Canisters are dumb. I’m not a 50’s housewife who has all day to strategize chores by floor, nor a STEM purist invested in calibrated floor heights. Get a stick that sucks and charges for $250. Flourish.
r/VacuumCleaners • Ive been trying to find a vacuum, I scoured the sub for hours. Conclusion? r/VacuumCleaners hate vacuum cleaners and apparently i should just buy a broom. ->Over engineered and complicated, an absolute pig to work on as well. Miele for premium brand is much better or Numatic for budget (imo anyway)
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->Miele is just embarrassingly better than everything else.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->They also stink if you have pets. Like literally. I wish I knew that bagless is definitely not better. We finally got a Miele and I love it. When the dog smell starts I know it’s time to change the bag (if it wasn’t full already) and then no more dog smell!
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->Miele. Ours has different speeds and the top 3 speeds pull the carpet up without much effort at all. The lowest speed is quiet enough for me to do some late night hoovering without bothering the neighbors. I had a Shark but it started to sound like a fighter jet.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->The best Miele you can afford
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Vacuum cleaner recommendations ->I have an LG cordless which is great for spot cleans, but the Miele comes out for the big cleans, the amount of dust it can get out carpets is impressive. I have a bagless one I bought in 2015 and apart for some dings it's still running well.
r/australia • Best vacuum ->Miele’s is really good, but stick wins for speed and convenience. Honestly, keep both. I think you can use them for different purposes
r/VacuumCleaners • Tried canister for first time (C1) from a vacuum noob. My super brief impressions so far versus a cordless stick vacuum. ->Just get a SEBO or Miele. The last of the good vacuums.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->Miele! We have 9 cats and a dog.
r/torties • Vaccume cleaner suggestions SPECIFICALLY for pet hair? ->I have 3 of the top 4. I have been happy with dyson because you can get a lot if replacement parts. Miele works great too.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Lol. These are presumably reviews at new. I bet after a year of ownership the reviews will look very different. I know from experience that Miele last and Dyson doesn’t.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->\*this\* We had a shark that we loved and it worked fine for nearly 10 years. Then a tiny part that turned the roller brush stopped working. Shark doesn't sell that part. So now, we can use it to vacuum hard floors or use the attachments, but can't vacuum carpets anymore. It's a perfectly good vacuum, but because they don't sell replacement parts, it's no good for us anymore. We got a Miele. It's great at what it does, but I miss the ease of an upright vacuum (compared to the awkwardness of a cannister vac).
r/BuyItForLife • best bifl vacuum cleaner? ->Miele is the Rolls Royce of vacuums imo.
r/BuyFromEU • Looking for European cordless vacuums ->Cleaner here 👋 definitely MIELE!!
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->Yep, I just got mine and absolutely love it. It’s powerful, compact, lightweight and works on both my hardwood floors and carpet. I can’t recommend it enough.
r/CleaningTips • Best vacuum for all floors, pet hair, and heavy duty use that is NOT bulky. ->It’s not even a question : MIELE. I bought mine in 2009, still working powerfully.
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->There's many different kinds of Miele vacuum cleaners. The cheapest ones don't even have a powered head for carpet so they're not good at that. There's $350 Miele vacuum cleaners in America.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Dyson doesn't suck as hard and is extremely loud. Just on the noise alone I hate using my parent's Dyson and use their Miele instead.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->The Miele, Henry, and Sebo vacs are the only ones worth a damn on this list. If you want a real BIFL vac and are willing to shell out, get a Lindhaus.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Miele is the best but for ease a dyson cordless is good - maybe the pet hair one. I have both- dyson for small jobs and Miele for big jobs. After i upgraded the dyson battery it works better than ever after 6 + years.
r/CleaningTips • Best Vacuum For Pet Hair ->None of them. Seriously, it has pissed me off for years. More than one Dyson, all weak/poor, just marketing hype. Panasonic. Unreliable. Miele, which I have now but is annoying and frustrating. A terrible design. Second one after the first lasted just over year. Hoover. It was many years ago, but it was weak and useless. Bosch. Worked, was reliable, but designed to slash some parts of your body when you had to take a bag out or change an overly expensive health filter (piece of foam). I just need something that works, is reliable, easy and moves around, especially on stairs.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->Dyson Detect is crap. Worst $1k I’ve ever spent. Get a Miele if you want to actually CLEAN.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->We have a Miele, a Dyson stick vac, and a shark robo vac. We use them for different purposes, but all have their place in our house. Miele came first though almost 10 years ago and it’s never had any issues.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Agree! Miele is the best! Owned a Dyson, Shark, Hoover corded and cordless. They don’t even come close.
r/homeowners • Best (cost/performance) vacuum cleaner? ->Miele makes a good vacuum, it's not a fact they're the best.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->Yeah, commercially the #1 canister. These are largely for home use and skewed to the US market where canisters are much less widely used.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->I just don’t get the Miele. We inherited one. Yes powerful yes reliable but honestly an absolute pig of a thing to pull out lug about and use. We got a Dyson V8 5 years ago that we use everyday. Pure ease and simplicity and powerful enough with a nice rage of attachments. The Miele never got used again after getting the Dyson so we got rid of it.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->Miele. I bought it at a vacuum store (look for one, they exist. They have a wider range than a department store)
r/AskACanadian • Canadians, I need a vacuum recommendation. 😋 ->Yes, Miele. It's as close as vacuums come to buy it for life.
r/internetparents • Internet Mom/Dad, what're the BEST vacuums overall? ->I bought my Miele at Bed Bath and Beyond. Sadly, though, it’s no longer an option to buy anything there anymore 😔.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->I have a few vacuums, one being a Sebo E3 and another is a Miele. I also have a Dyson V8 Absolute and I *absolutely* love it. I’ve had this one for a few years and use it almost daily around the kitchen. I recommend that one. It doesn’t have the digital screen, it’s not super heavy on the wrist, and it cleans well. If it were to break or stop working, I’d buy another one. Worth it.
r/VacuumCleaners • Suggest some of the best cordless DYSON vacuums ->Anecdotal, but Miele is the only vacuum that I've ever seen survive longer than a year in a commercial restaurant setting. High end country club with carpeted dining room that has at least 1 wine glass break per day
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->If you have only hardwood floors then anything is basically fine. Get the Miele if you have carpets
r/CostcoCanada • Any reviews on Shark vacuums? ->A lot of things on here *are* buy it for life, though. Even vacuums (my grandma has had her Miele since before I was born). So a lot of posts *are* literal. Though, I think this is (and already has been) becoming less common. Modern goods that used to be BIFL are dropping in build quality.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->miele beats everything else
r/BuyItForLife • Can someone please recommend a good vacuum cleaner for laminate floorings? ->But it for life with either a Sebo or Miele. You’ll spend over $1000 for a good but you’ll never have to buy another vacuum again.
r/homeowners • Best house vacuum ->My Miele was a HUGE disappointment. Scratched the hardwood floors (there is a sort of hook on the back which hits the floor when you're going under tables/beds) and the tube part (not the technical term - this is not my area of expertise) comes out if you pull too hard, which I do as I HATE vacuuming. I'm getting a robot.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Vacuum cleaner recommendations ->My Miele has an infuriatingly short power cord, and my house is quite small
r/BuyItForLife • What’s the best corded vacuum of 2025??? ->I’ve cleaned for almost twenty years and I always go back to Miele. The only complaint I have is I wish all the floor heads had headlights. At my last visit to the vacuum store they did mention that Miele had moved their manufacturing and they now recommend Sebo, so I would also check those out. If you have a store locally, they are usually great if you buy from them, especially to cleaners. They even let me borrow floor models to test. Try to shop locally because it is worth the connection.
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->I swapped my Dyson for a Miele, never looked back
r/dogs • Recommend me a vacum cleaner. (not robot vacum please) ->Love our Miele. The cord is quite long though.
r/BuyItForLife • What’s the best corded vacuum of 2025??? ->Do you live in a house or flat? Pets or no pets? I find that hoovers without cord are not as potent as a corded one, but maybe I am biased. If you can splurge, Miele is a great brand. If not, I have a Shark that is going strong for 4years (and counting).
r/AskUK • What type of hoover should I get? ->Miele hands down, it’s the only one to consider!
r/dogs • Recommend me a vacum cleaner. (not robot vacum please) ->Miele all the way imo.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->Miele is top notch
r/GuiltyDogs • Any vacuum cleaner recommendations? 👹 ->I bought a Miele years ago and I have not regretted it once. It's so much better than my old Dyson and I've had zero problems.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Sebo are expensive, but they are incredible. If you can afford it, I recommend. Miele are also great. The place I purchased from had both on display. I preferred the Sebo for the ease of removing the brush roller. This makes it really easy to remove the hair that gets wrapped around it.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Your hair and cats bear no role in the decision process. There are many BIFL vacuums, but buying one is a question of floor types and you mentioned carpet, but do you have any smooth floors? Miele is an excellent choice as many of them have the ability to turn off the beater for smooth floor use as well as carpet.
r/BuyItForLife • Best vacuum cleaner? ->Miele for 10 + years now a 2nd hand sebo, both brilliant, the sebo is heavy though.
r/AskUK • Hoovers. What are you using and why? ->I’m a former Dyson fanboy. I’ve seen the light and love Miele. Shark is also much better than Dyson at a significantly lower cost
r/dyson • Best Dyson Stick Vacuum ->I don't know if I would call Eufy an off-brand Roomba when they are a legitimate brand that generally performs better than a Roomba 😂 Regardless I agree with you. Especially with a kid on the way, the time saved with a robot vacuum will be priceless. I have tile, floorboards and low pile rugs and the robot vacuum has no problems. You can usually set it to go around the house twice if you think it needs it but I find vacuuming once a day does the job. The top brands are Eufy, Dreame and Roborock. If you want a regular vacuum you can't go wrong with a Miele. For a cordless, I would recommend the Shark Pet over a Dyson if you're dealing with a lot of hair.
r/CleaningTips • Best vacuum for all floors, pet hair, and heavy duty use that is NOT bulky. ->price of replacement parts is a huge reason i recommend sebo vacuums. every time i have to look up a part for a miele vacuum i already know it’s going to cost 3x-4x what it should.
r/VacuumCleaners • [REVIEW] Miele Vacuums are a joke ->I have the Dyson v8. I also have a miele. It’s just 2 different use cases. A stick is perfect for small spaces and ease of use. My v8 is probably 8 years old? I replaced the filter and battery with 3rd party materials and it’s got fantastic suction, will run for 20 mins on full and just as powerful as miele on “normal” setting. Less so then Miele on full power - but in fairness, can barely the Miele on full power plus then it “jumps” over dirt, so rarely use it.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->Go to an actual vacuum store and tell them your needs — when I did this, they loaned me 3 vacuums for a weekend to try them! I ended up with a Miele.
r/CleaningTips • Best vacuum for all floors, pet hair, and heavy duty use that is NOT bulky. ->I’ve had mine for over a decade, still going strong
r/internetparents • Internet Mom/Dad, what're the BEST vacuums overall? ->Love my Miele, it gets some abuse but so long as you change the bag its a happy little hoover. Sister has gone through 3(!) Dysons in the time I've had it, no idea why she keeps buying them.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->The Miele you have is not intended for carpet so don't go with that. And it makes zero sense to replace a garbage cordless Shark with a garbage corded Shark. Take a look at the Simplicity S20EZM. It doesn't have a brush roll shut off but it does have manual height adjustment and HEPA filtration. If you have a Sebo dealer near you then Dart is $400 until 12/3 and that is a great vacuum for carpet and bare floors.
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->The advantage to something like a Sebo, and to a slightly lesser extent Miele, is that you are buying a product that has exceptional build quality and is highly repairable should the need arise.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for allergies? Does it really need to cost $1300? ->Miele will always be the answer
r/BuyItForLife • What’s the best corded vacuum of 2025??? ->Yeah, had an assistant that worked for a vacuum repair/sales and she was adamant that Dyson was crap. The other models would literally clean up what the Dyson couldn’t. Miele is the best but my shark is lighter. So it depends on what you’re looking for.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I bought a Miele four years ago based on vac-tech recommendations and it’s been such a fantastic vacuum. We have young children who (like their parents) can sometimes be a little mischievous or naughty, or in fairness, just curious. Twice I’ve had parts break as a result of their, uh, curiosity and scientific experimentation with the vacuum. One piece was the bent section of the handle, and the other a coupling piece, but both times I was able to painlessly and easily order replacement apartments and install them myself. It’s fantastic, performs excellent, and isn’t designed with planned obsolescence in mind.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I can’t stand the Henry brands. I’ve used a Miele for 7 years and it’s brilliant. My mums had their Miele for 15 years now and it just keeps going.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->Yup, these original Dyson's were incredibly reliable for the most part. I think the first one in my family lasted close to 14 years before it finally died. The second was about 12-13 years old as well. Dyson's are not bad today, they just are not that good anymore, and not as reliable. For reliability you're definitely going to want a Sebo or Miele.
r/VacuumCleaners • My original Dyson lasted me 19 years. Are Dysons any good still? Or should I switch to a Sebo? Have carpet upstairs and on the stairs. Roomba takes care of the tIle downstairs. ->I grew up using a miele, and those are the right choice for professionals. For at home, nothing compares with a Dyson. They’re incredible.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Which, in my opinion, Dysons are. The batteries can be replaced, or modded to accept tool batteries, they do not require filters, they’re easily repairable, and they’re incredibly convenient to use, which encourages regular vacuuming, leading to a cleaner home. People talk a lot about socks here, and those don’t last five years. Dysons are solid for at least a decade. Our Meile is pushing 20, but my mom has probably spent thousands on bags, and she’s had to repair the elbow mechanism more than once. I think it’s more than appropriate to discuss quality items here, even if they won’t last two generations. If we only talked about things that lasted that long, our sub would be full of hand tools and leather goods. I think it’s pretty widely accepted here that this sub has evolved into a sub where we seek out the highest quality entries for any product category. Miele always ranks #1, but that doesn’t mean Dyson isn’t the right choice for a lot of people. Habits are for life, and Dyson vacuums make it easier to get into the habit of vacuuming.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->1-2 years of use from a Dyson does not line up with my experiences. I’ve had two and they’re incredible workhorses. I grew up using nice Miele vacuums and the Dyson is way better for me since it’s easier to just whip out. Setting up a cord and lugging around the Miele body always made vacuuming my least favorite chore. With a Dyson, I find that I use it more. When tou consider that I’m keeping a cleaner place, that means that less dirt and dust will be around in my house which is good for health, and for keeping my other things nice. There are tradeoffs with owning a Dyson. Miele makes a better machine, but Dyson delivers a better experience. P.S. Dysons have filters that you need to clean to keep them working. The filter is washable and intended to be reused. Mieles require vacuum bags and replaceable air filters. Tradeoffs. Now if I were a housekeeper, you bet your ass I’d be using a Miele.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Miele is the best in my opinion.
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->We bought a Miele 8 years ago and its still as good as the day we got it. Well worth the money (even though it was on sale in Currys!)
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->I have a Miele that I used to use for clients. I do not recommend. It is far too expensive for the amount of wear and tear it got dragging it around to client’s houses. I no longer use any of my own products.
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->Get a Henry, Currys have a sale on atm. If you want to splurge then get a Miele, they're really good and great if you have pets Also it's not a Hoover (that's a brand name), it's a vacuum cleaner
r/AskUK • What type of hoover should I get? ->I bought a Miele for $1,000 and the thing was a piece of junk. Apparently it had a known issue and I wasn’t aware of it for a year. Vacuuming was a nightmare. I tried getting it fixed it but then it broke again. I would have returned it but I’m just always so extremely exhausted from a medical issue, I just never had the energy to deal with it. I threw it away and I’ll never buy another one again.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Last time I went down this rabbit hole I stumbled into a dealer after 15 hours of not sleeping to buy a Miele.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Just buy a Miele. You can’t kill them.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->I have a Miele and it’s great. Buying them can be a little confusing because there are lots of different models, heads, etc. But as long as you get one with a power head for carpets, you probably won’t be disappointed. We have very little carpet in our house so I bought the model that Costco was selling (no power head). It’s been perfect.
r/AskACanadian • Canadians, I need a vacuum recommendation. 😋 ->Really happy with my Miele. Hope the thing never dies.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Sebo. It’s the new Electrolux. I went from electrolux (40 years of service, inherited from my mom) which was amazing, to a Miele (20 years of service, inherited from step mom) to a Dyson Animal. The Dyson lasted 12 years before I got sick of it. I bought a Sebo! I’m 58 and I won’t need another vacuum before I die.
r/homeowners • Best (cost/performance) vacuum cleaner? ->When Dyson first came out, and were taking the marketshare away from all the other vacuum cleaner brands. We had a rep in from Miele.he took a Dyson & a similarly priced Miele off the floor display and proceeded to demonstrate the Miele's superiority on different surfaces, and finished off by picking up a house brick with the hose attachment, where the Dyson failed miserably. I'm still using the same model from 20 years ago.
r/AskUK • Hoovers. What are you using and why? ->Man I used a Miele for the first time about a year ago and it’s absolutely amazing how much better they are at picking things up
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Everyone is gonna say Dyson, but no. My family has owned a vacuum retailer chain for 90 or so years and the best vacuums for fur are simplicity or Miele. Dysons might seem cool and hip but they break real easily.
r/samoyeds • Best vacuum for fur? ->Do you remember the vacuum repair guy AMA? That sold me on Miele. Bought one (after dealing with the constant breakdowns of Dyson and Shark) and never looked back.
r/internetparents • Internet Mom/Dad, what're the BEST vacuums overall? ->I've been waiting for a review on this, thank you!! Yeah this machine is too cheap to pay for repairs if something goes wrong. If you absolutely have to have a budget/mid-range canister, this will do, but I think it's worth spending more for a SEBO or Miele that will last longer and perform better
r/VacuumCleaners • Why the Kenmore 600 vacuum is a Paper Tiger ->We never tried the shark. Ultimately, we bought some aftermarket parts for our dyson and it works good as new. I love the dyson stick vacuum for quick pickups. We also have a Miele for the whole house
r/VacuumCleaners • Wondering if anyone here has experience or knows of the Ryobi ONE+ Stick Vacuums and could help with advice on if I should get one or not, Ryobi tools have held up for quite a while and one of my favorite brands here in Australia. (I hate the pull along canister vacuums) ->We have both a Miele vacuum and a dyson stick. They serve different functions
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Definitely recommend a Miele. Powerful, reasonably compact for storage, works great on pet hair and affordable.
r/newzealand • Briscoes sale - vacuum cleaner recommendations please!! ->Glad I got my little meile, thing is awesome!
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I literally just finished vacuuming with our Miele. We have 3 kids, 2 cats and a dog and this thing is the goat. I also have one of those cordless Dysons, which are good for spot cleaning here and there, but if I run the Miele immediately after the Dyson, it still picks up dirt! They go on sale sometimes, too. I bought ours from a small local vacuum place in BC called Big Gary’s Vacuums. They were matching the sale price at Costco.
r/AskACanadian • Canadians, I need a vacuum recommendation. 😋 ->We also bought one of the pet ones. I was sceptical of using something with bags with so much pet hair, but they take longer to fill than I anticipated and the air does feel cleaner. I’m not sure what will make you love it if you don’t already. What do you feel like it’s not doing? We have both hard floors and carpet and it’s been great.
r/AskACanadian • Canadians, I need a vacuum recommendation. 😋 ->I’d contact them. They have a warranty on all their vacuums. It’s unusual to hear a Miele isn’t doing its job. Could be your settings or could be something wacky with your particular machine.
r/AskACanadian • Canadians, I need a vacuum recommendation. 😋 ->Got a Miele and love it
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->I purchased a Miele based on that post and haven't looked back!
r/AskACanadian • Canadians, I need a vacuum recommendation. 😋 ->Interesting stats. I guess I still ended up with Miele after seeing numerous vac-techs on here shouting out that brand. That probably was the biggest deciding factor, and so far it's turned out to be a good call. Any chance that influenced any of the data?
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Lmao I'd never seen the face on Henry before 😂 It kinda reminds me of my shop vac. I'd say the Miele so far has been nicely portable for my needs, I only wish the cord was like 10ft longer.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I bought the Dyson sphere back in the day thinking the ball would make vacuuming easier and would roll easy. It wa made out of hard plastic then would grind the dirt sand and rocks into the wood floor if it didn’t pick it up the first time. I hated my Dyson ball. I love my Miele.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I got the miele- absolutely love it. That's a great price
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->I have 2 Miele's, one that I inherited (around 25 years old) and one that I purchased (around 15 years old). They are a bit more expensive than most other brands, but Miele straight robs you blind with their cost on bags and filters.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I used to have to replace Briscoes vacuum cleaner every 3 -4 years. My current Miele is now 12 years old and it is still going strong. Enough said.
r/newzealand • Briscoes sale - vacuum cleaner recommendations please!! ->I will die with my Miele. We've had it for 12+ years now, and only had to do a minor repair once, which I was able to do with help from youtube. Hands down, one of the best home purchases we've ever done.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->MIele is hands down the best vaccuum. I've had mine over 12 years, still works great
r/homeowners • Best (cost/performance) vacuum cleaner? ->Miele. Not even a contest. Only negative is price but they last forever and Miele sells parts
r/CleaningTips • What is the Best Vacuum ->They are one of the most popular vacuums in the world. You won’t be disappointed
r/CleaningTips • What is the Best Vacuum ->Buying Miele was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made with any product purchase. Such a good vacuum and product.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I like my Miele.
r/CleaningTips • Best vacuum for all floors, pet hair, and heavy duty use that is NOT bulky. ->You turn off the power head from the handle on a Miele Not the suction control but realistically few have it on other than max, even if you are not supposed to
r/VacuumCleaners • [REVIEW] Miele Vacuums are a joke ->Miele - hands down the best!
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->Anyone saying Henry, hasn’t had a Miele.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->Definitely skip the Shark. The Dyson I had seemed gimmicky. It just didn’t live up to the hype. I own that exact Miele. For hard wood or laminate floors it’s great. Also for lower shag rugs and carpet. Don’t have any high shag carpet in my home, so I can’t comment on it’s performance there.
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->I had a Dyson before we got our Miele. I bought the vactec hype and got the Miele a few years ago and did a head to head test. The Miele picked up so much dirt the Dyson has missed. It was pretty shocking.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->I had a shark from Costco and it sucked after a bit. Bought a Miele and that thing fuckin rips. Best vacuum I ever had, 3 dog's and 3 cats with all carpet.
r/VacuumCleaners • What’s the Best Affordable Vacuum That Actually Works? ->It's honestly the best vacuum I have ever had and it's not even close. It wasn't cheap but neither are Dyson's and they're garbage from what I've experienced. I think I was 400ish give or take and I live in Canada. The "powered" head on mine spins the head by the air flowing through the head so if you get something stuck it doesn't burn out a motor. It's honestly the best design I could think of. Theres a dial on the head to let more or less air through. The only complaint I have is that it works too good and everytime I use it I have to take scissors and cut the hair that's caught around the head in the brushes but it's not the vacuums fault I have a fucking hobby farm on a carpet sooo. The other head without the spinner is fucking ridiculously strong. I cannot vacuum a rug with it because it sucks so hard. I have to hold one side down with my foot and pull away and it's still hard haha. I usually go over the carpet a few times with the regular suction head then throw the old turbo head on 🏍️ You won't regret it.
r/VacuumCleaners • What’s the Best Affordable Vacuum That Actually Works? ->Those Sebo and Miele vacuums last fucking forever so there ya go.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->Dyson stick vacuum cleaners are the easiest to use and the best design for domestic use IMO. I had a miele in the past, and dragging around a cleaner on little wheels and replacing bags is terrible: I don't care how long they last.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Dyson and Shark are Garbage. If you can afford and/or save up the money for a Miele or Sebo, those are one of the Best vacuums you can buy.
r/VacuumCleaners • Why is Dyson bad and what should I get instead? ->Sebo and Miele are BIFL. Dyson is not BIFL. If you buy a Sebo, the manual comes with an exploded parts diagram where you can buy each and every part. Dyson does not have this because when something breaks, they want you to buy a new vacuum. Same goes for Shark, Bissell and other bagless garbage that people keep recommending.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Agree my Miele is 16 years old and had no issues.
r/BuyItForLife • Can someone please recommend a good vacuum cleaner for laminate floorings? ->Miele. Phenomenal bit of kit, I think it will out last me.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->Don't know, in 12 years I've never needed one. I'm guessing not many can say that about a Dyson. I'm lead to believe that if you contact them in Germany they will always get a part for you too for every product they have ever sold.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->It's very lightweight and extremely powerful for its size with good run time. We live in a large old house with 3 kids and a pet. I have a 15 year old Miele which is fantastic, but I'll be damned if I'm going to drag that thing up and down three floors regularly. Our Dyson V6 is 8+ years old and still going strong. It does 90% of the vacuuming because it can be easily picked up to spot clean a specific area and does a good job of it. Yes, it requires a bit more maintenance (cleaning) than the Miele, but it also doesn't require bags that are several dollars each, and again, most importantly, makes vacuuming a LOT easier.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Hmm. Nearly 10 years on mine here. My Miele is *really* bifl now because it hardly gets any use.
