"The other head without the spinner is fucking ridiculously strong. ... I cannot vacuum a rug with it because it sucks so hard. I have to hold one side down with my foot and pull away and it's still hard haha."
"3 dog's and 3 cats with all carpet. ... that thing fuckin rips. ... it works too good and everytime I use it I have to take scissors and cut the hair that's caught around the head in the brushes but it's not the vacuums fault I have a fucking hobby farm on a carpet sooo."
"Miele! We have 9 cats and a dog. ... It cleans up pet messes"

I have the Miele Complete C3 Total Care. No complaints, with 2 cats.
r/australia • Vacuum Recommendations? ->I have a Miele pet vac. (Barrel vacuum) Sorry, no idea the model! It’s a few years old and I have to buy bags for it, but it’s bloody marvellous.
r/australia • Vacuum Recommendations? ->For all hard floors a canister vacuum with suction-only floor brushes will do great. A canister vacuum will also give you a long flexible hose that will make above the floor cleaning easier than a stick vacuum or an upright with a stretch hose. The Dyson V12 Slim and Dyson V15 are just like other cordless vacuums except they cost more for show-off features. A cordless vacuum will have less suction power, a limited run time, and a small bin. They also need constant maintenance. Dysons add particle sensors and lasers but that doesn't help the vacuum's suction power or bin size or durability. Cordless vacuums last 2-5 years. For a small room of hard floors a cordless vacuum will clean it, but when you are using the tools to clean the walls and ceilings it will be heavier and more work because you have to lift the whole vacuum the entire time. Hands down the Miele Complete C3 Allergy is better than any cordless vacuum. It has strong suction, it has great filtration, it lasts a long time, and it's very quiet too. Downsides are the included tools are small. Larger dusting brushes and other tools are available from Miele, not sure about the availability in your country. If you only have 1 small room the [Miele Classic C1 Junior PowerLine SBAF3](https://www.miele.in/domestic/vacuum-cleaners-1784.htm?mat=11694890&name=Classic_C1_Junior_PowerLine_-_SBAF3) is also capable enough to clean 1 room of hard floors and it will come with the same hose length and the same 3 tools. The C1 Junior has a smaller motor than the C3 Allergy, but it has more than enough power for your cleaning uses. I would buy the one of these Miele bagged canister vacuums. Hope that helps.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum Recommendations - India, Tiles, lot of dust. ->Definitely the C3 Allergy. Miele’s bagless vacuums aren’t as good as their bagged vacuums, their filters need constant cleaning.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum Recommendations - India, Tiles, lot of dust. ->They should both last long. The Miele S1 Guard has the new bag dock which should prevent the bag from leaking in the compartment from misalignment. The S1 doesn't have any of the drawbacks of the Miele L1 like the downgraded pre-motor filter and the compromised combo tools. As long as you learn to re-seat the bag on the C1 I would say it is equal in cleaning to the S1 Guard so choose whichever has the better sale. Australia got a lot more motor options than the U.S. so also check which model is coming with bigger motor. We don't get the S1 Guard in the U.S. yet but I was surprised to learn the S1 Guard Junior has a 2 piece metal wand while the S1 Guard has a telescoping metal wand. So that may be a deciding feature for you. The suction only Mieles are great for hard floors. You can always add a turbo brush later if you get low pile carpets or rugs but turbos aren't good for high pile, plush, and shag carpets. I'm not familiar with Australian stores but I found this [Miele C3 Total Care](https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/miele-complete-c3-total-care-bagged-vacuum-bronze-pearl-12396520) $294 AUD at The Good Guys. It looks like an in-store only but I would buy it over the S1 Guard Junior. The C3 has the same bag re-seating issue but once you learn that the C3 has a longer cord, a tool storage compartment, and this model comes with the turbo floor brush and the mini turbo brush.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best electric mop ->Got a V11 as a daily driver/mattres cleaner/stair and car cleaner and a C3 Kona for the 2x a week full house cleans
r/VacuumCleaners • Tried canister for first time (C1) from a vacuum noob. My super brief impressions so far versus a cordless stick vacuum. ->Lol 1 C3 Kona does all that these machines can just an overkill of machines in one house😂😂😂😂😂 nothing to flex about lol
r/VacuumCleaners • Sebo Family ->I got one c3 with electric kit and straight suction hose wand and parquet twister/ airteq and the full kit from Homecare kit
r/luftablassen • Beschissene AEG Staubsauger ->Miele C3 Milan (or whatever version peaks your interest). You don’t want a bagless, like you think you do. Less power, they get dirty and you’re not going to (want to) clean it. Trust me, from experience. Dyson, Shark, and many others in that market-space plan for the tool to phase out of use much sooner than you’d probably want; repairing them is intentionally not cost-effective. Look at the battery guarantee for anything that’s cordless, it’s likely projected to last 1 year in the manual. Miele, Kenmore, Sebo have a longer life, contain allergens better (they stay in the bag that you change every 3-6mo) and are serviceable.
r/VacuumCleaners • Is the Dyson worth it? ->I'm not a housekeeper, but I have a Miele - going on 20 years now. Its amazing. It makes cleaning go so fast. I have a cordless LG that I use for quick tidy ups in between deep cleans, but for monthly deep cleans, I use the Miele and the place just feels SO CLEAN afterwards.
r/housekeeping • My newest client has a Miele vacuum. I want to buy one for myself ->If you can find a used Miele canister, I have had mine coming up on 20 years and it's still amazing. They're pricy, but it's a buy once, cry once kind of thing.
r/housekeeping • Need your best vacuum recommendations ->I’ve gone from bagless to a bagged Miele I was sick of the dust plumes when emptying the canisters… I’ve forgotten how good a bagged vac Is and these Miele C3 turbo or cat dog powerlines are amazing wow it sucked so much it fluffed the carpet back up like it was new again.
r/VacuumCleaners • best vacuum for pet hair? which setups work for you guys? ->Ok i bought a Miele c3 turbo based on recommendations from this sub. I really like it BUT i really want a vacuum with a light on the head. It really helps me see where i need to vacuum. Any suggestions? Another issue with the Miele is the cord is a little shorter than I prefer. My previous vacuum was a shark and the cord was longer and head had light, but of course it broke after a few years.
r/VacuumCleaners • /r/VacuumCleaners No Stupid Questions - October 11, 2025 ->I’d highly recommend a canister vacuum cleaner with a dedicated bare-floor nozzle - the kind that’s just a brush with no wheels. Something like a Wessel-Werk CN250 or D 330 Turn & Clean. Both Miele and SEBO offer branded versions of these. These don’t have wheels and sit on just bristles. No plastic wheels and baseplates fo break. These glide over the uneven floors beautifully and strong suction will pick the dirt up out of the crevices. If you’re dealing with fine dust, bags are the way to go. No filters to wash, no dust cups to clean out, no plumes of dust. No, the bags won’t fill up instantly or loose suction the way old paper vacuum bags did. I’d strongly recommend looking at SEBO E3, or K3; Miele C1 or C3 canister with the Miele Parquet nozzle, Numatic Henry with the bare-floor only brush. If you find a canister you like that doesn’t have a no-wheels bare floor brush, you can get aftermarket ones either online or at your local vac shop. Most canisters use either a 35mm (Miele size) fitting, or generic 1 1/4” or 32mm fitting. Check out your local vacuum shop and let them know your flooring situation. They’ll be able to get you the exact attachments you need.
