I use packout vacuum, cordless Ridgid shopvac (discontinued),and the m18 shopvac all with bags and filters removed. HD and Amazon sell bags for all kinds of vacuums. I install cabinets so packout is on my tracksaw. M18 on mitersaw, and Ridgid on m18 tablesaw.. I sweep and use m18 and Ridgid because they have more volume . I bolted on a crate on top of my m18 for packout compatibility (before the packout vacuum was released)...crate holds accessories and the hose.

I have the 2 gallon. The hose is overly difficult to disconnect when you need to clear it. The house should be 50% wider with the same tip. This would prevent it from getting clogged. It frequently gets clogged now. The only thing it’s good for is sawdust and maybe dirt. Not picking up chunks with it.

It works with the Milwaukee m18 vacuums too. Amazing upgrade.

Id start charging your friends to use the car. They dont pay your insurance or monthly soo if they want to use make them pay!! Also i would recommend Milwaukee portable m18 vacuum very handy just buy a couple of their large high output batteries for max power

I have the 0880-20 (2gal non-pack out) and it’s the most abused tool I have.   I’ve used it countless times fixing irrigation leaks, so vacuuming up tons of water, rocks, sand, silt, mud, etc.  I use it without a filter, so as soon as it either sucks the ball up or starts spitting out water I know it’s full.  I like the size way better than larger ones cause it’s easier to handle when it’s full of water.   It’s also very commonly used as a step stool, despite the stamp on the top that’s says no step.  It’s a great step stool as well as an improvised chair when I need to get my butt up off the wet ground.   I would not want it in pack out format or any changes to it at all.  It’s perfect just as it is.

No dude it's perfect, it's a small easily maneuvered with good power. It's the size of a boom box from the late 80's lol tho look at them at home Depot and you can make your choice. All 3 are sold there.
