My m18 Fuel vacuum is my new favorite tool. Homeowners always appreciate a clean work site and this thing makes it insanely easy. It’s compact, has good battery life, and stores the attachments inside. Plus I have the pack out gear so it clips right on. I use a big ass corded rigid vac for the really messy stuff though.
This is my exact loadout. It’s the perfect combo
I have a Milwaukee M18 Fuel shop vac, I use it all the time from cleaning up after projects, giving the truck a quick vacuum, basement cleanups, the stairway landing where we take our shoes off, garage clean ups, work benches, Since it’s cordless, small and lightweight it gets used for all kinds of quick things.
I have used both corded and cordless vacuums over the years. The dyson stick vacuum was a jump start to grab n go vacuum around the house but now I find myself using a cheap but powerful corded vacuum all the time around the house. Nothing beats the suction of a corded vacuum. The vast majority of vacuum advertisements is for battery powered vacuum but the best vacuums are plugged in. A shop vac for example can suck up anything that fits in the 2.5 inch hose. Vacuuming a car with a shop vac is very satisfying especially when it sucks up tissues wrapper junk rock etc.
I have a Milwaukee lawnmower that works incredibly well. Takes two 18v batteries that are small but weigh considerably more than most stick vacuums. Milwaukee makes a shop vac that works well but the batteries alone can cost $200
I have all DeWalt 20V max cordless tools, so I bought the DeWalt cordless shop-vac even though reviews state that it’s not great, and that the Milwaukee is better. I kinda wish I’d got the Milwaukee and a set of batteries for it, because I’d agree that the DeWalt is not that great. For small jobs where I’m drilling holes and have drywall dust, I use a small Black and Decker rechargeable made for home use. It’s rechargeable but not with interchangeable batteries, so you really can’t use it for a bigger job.
This is the one have had for a bunch of years. I do a lot of drywall work. Throw a bag in it, hook it up to my sander and have all but no clean up to do. Had the 18v Milwaukee and that was great for quick cleaning. Until some scum of the earth stole my work truck and all my Packout gear
I’m a big fan of the Milwaukee M18 cordless vacuum The portability/modularity if you already have their batteries. Biggest difference maker is a set of attachments for the nooks and crannies.
I use the Milwaukee 18v cordless vacuum and I absolutely love it! I have one strictly for wet and one strictly for dry.
I agree 100%! It's super lightweight and very portable so it almost makes cleaning up fun 🤣
