Multiple Brands - Windsor, Kärcher - Sensor S2 12 HEPA

Sebo is widely regarded as the best vacuum brand for performance and durability. Their residential vacuums are resold as Karcher for commercial customers. If you only have a carpeted area to clean then the Karcher S12 which is equivalent to the Sebo G4 is one of your best bets. It's considered one of the most durable vacuums around with huge bag capacity and excellent filtration. New ones will be $600-700 but you can get used ones in very good condition for under $250 on eBay. Every part is servicable, the roller is removable, bags are pretty cheap.

I’m curious to see where this post goes. I’ve got a sensor S12 in one house and an old oreck XL in the other. The Oreck is loud as hell, but I guess that’s normal for a direct air machine.

Sensor S2 HEPA had since Feb 2022. Not bad, but clogs easily.

Mostly what others have said..the difference in air quality is much higher imo. Also having a high quality vacuum in itself is a huge plus. I have a no frills Windsor sensor that I expect to last another 10-20 years.

If going for a Karcher/SEBO, why not a Windsor Sensor?

The CV380 is a rebranded Sebo Dart, and the Karcher Windsor Sensors are rebranded Sebo uprights The Dart/Felix are electric broom uprights that perform well on carpet and can also swap their powered brushrolls for hard floor tools The Windsor Sensors are traditional uprights that are meant for pure carpet. I can't remember the analogous Sebo models off the top of my head
