The Karcher Versamatic Hepa 18 $1410 is a commercial upright vacuum with an 18 inch wide brushroll. It's very durable and it has a built in hose and wand. You could buy 2-4 of these vacuums for the price of 1 wide area vacuum. You could even get a combo of 1 wide area sweeper and 1 Karcher Versamatic to divide cleaning different-sized areas. The Bissell Commercial BGU1800T 18" Dual Motor Commercial Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner $799 could serve as a less expensive backup vacuum.
