1. power isn't an issue. Wattage on the upper end cordless dysons is as much or more than some of the corded miele canister vacs sold in my country. 2. Definitely more bagged corded available than just numatic/henry. 3. Weight in the handl. I have a have a canister and there are more than a few others on the market. I also have a nice cordless upright that we love (not available in the USA, bosch Athlet). Meile makes the triflex which can be configued as an upright. 4. My henry cordless canister has the same exact filtration as my henry corded.
r/VacuumCleaners • Ive been trying to find a vacuum, I scoured the sub for hours. Conclusion? r/VacuumCleaners hate vacuum cleaners and apparently i should just buy a broom. ->I like my Henry cordless. It's light and easy to move it about. I hate hoovering with a normal henry. It's too big and ignorant.
r/AskUK • What type of hoover should I get? ->Lots to unpack there, gonna try to keep it short. Miele's have the (or one of the) most expensive bags/filters. If recurring costs are a consideration, look at Sebo and Lindhaus units too. Get the powered brush roller, then wait and see on extra accessories if you actually need them. Bags: Generally speaking a box a bags will last you \~ 1 year Any bagless machine is going to have lots of maintenance, or a very short lifespan... None of them are going to perform well on low/medium settings for carpet. In my limited experience with them, Dyson's don't clog the filters often, but the cyclones can get stinky (pet stink), and they are almost impossible to clean out (gotta disassemble, you'd better be very well versed in technical matters and have the right tools). After my Dyson experiences I would consider either the LG L9, or possibly the Henry Cordless, as it has bags. LG L9 has a removable cyclone assembly for easy cleaning; the Henry you should have minimal maintenance because it has bags. Unless you want to wash filters after every use, stay away from the 'budget' models. Personally I have a Dyson V7 (V8), and a V15. I would strongly suggest the V8 over the V15. Less/easier maintenance, and the V7 has never gotten stinky unlike the much newer V15. Performance wise I can't tell a difference, when in max mode. (the auto detect mode on V15 is admittedly nice) Battery life: Just don't expect you can use any cordless to really clean, quick pickups are where they shine. Performance wise, to come anywhere near close to a good corded unit you need to run it on 'max' mode, which generally equates to \~10min worth of use.
r/VacuumCleaners • Buying Advice Needed ->I own a cordless Henry and it’s doing super great so far
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->Henry is the best all rounder, and there is a reason they are the go to trade hoover. Shark I'd say are the best small light cordless ones, ideal for a flat or small home, but pretty useless as a main hoover in a big home. Dysons are great if you like to show off to people and never clean with them. They are so so loud, don't hoover very well and I've never liked James Dyson.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->Samsung stopped making corded vacuums for some time so these are all older vacuums. The picture is of a suction-only vacuum, no carpet powerhead so it's best for hard floors. The cyclone and filter are above average for a bagless vacuum. But it's still a bagless vacuums so that means it's not good for allergies and it requires more maintenance. I wouldn't get a used Samsung bagless vacuum if this is going to be your primary vacuum. Don't buy it unless you're a collector. For regular daily use the Henry Hoover is so much better and brand new prices are pretty cheap if you're in the UK. If you have carpets get a Sebo with a carpet powerhead.
r/VacuumCleaners • Samsung Hoover - any reviews or experience? Looking for a new one any info appreciated ->I love Sebo vacuums, they're very durable and then super easy to repair when needed. Sebo doesn't own Karcher but they do make all of their commercial carpet vacuums. As much as I like the longer cords on the Karcher versions none of their upright vacuums have brushroll shutoff so they aren't good for hard floors. So I think you should look at the Sebo Dart. It's a great upright vacuum like your Sebo Felix but without swivel steering and suction control. The Dart will be able to do carpets, it has carpet height adjustment, and brushroll shutoff for the hard floors. The hose and 2 tools will be nice too for getting into crevices when needed. If you wanted one of the Karcher uprights I really like the [Sensor S12](https://www.kaercher.com/us/commercial/vacuum-cleaners/upright/sensor-r-s12-10126150.html) and [Sensor S2 12 Hepa](https://www.kaercher.com/us/commercial/vacuum-cleaners/upright/sensor-r-s2-12-hepa-120v-10120700.html). Both are great for carpets and very durable but both lack brushroll shutoff so I would not use them on any hard floors. I wouldn't want your company to be accused of scratching anyone's hard floors. That means you either need to carry an extension wand and hard floor brush to hook up to the uprights or a separate canister vacuum. My choice would be to have a Karcher Sensor S12 and a Henry 160. It is 2 vacuums but having a separate canister vacuum gives you a much longer hose than any upright for all of the above floor cleaning. I can see going for a Sebo Dart for the simplicity of using just 1 machine.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for interior finishing? ->I agree with the Henry recommendation, they're very durable vacuums with strong suction, but they are surprisingly quiet. Henry 160 is the smallest canister good for homes. I think you should check out the Henry 200 and Henry 240, their bag compartment holds more and the cords are longer. I think your clients will really like his face and you can draw/add some body builder arms on his tub. Henry fits standard 1.25 inch tools so adding a good Wessel Werk hard floor brush is easy. Backpack vacuums are good for covering large areas that are not cramped or confined. I do not like backpacks if you have to bend and move stuff a lot or stop vacuuming frequently.
r/VacuumCleaners • Commercial Vacuum for gym ->Yep ^ adding a Henry 160 too. And all 3 manufacturers have an additional turbo hand attachment great for upholstery.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Vacuum Cleaner for Dog Hair ->Definitely avoid the shark like the plague. Grab a Miele C1 pure suction, Sebo k2 kombi or Henry 160. These will all work exceptionally well on your flooring. I don’t have a good rec for robot vacs though.
r/VacuumCleaners • Good Vacuum for different tiles on the same house... ->What pile are the area rugs and how big? A turbo team is never a bad idea with rugs. But the pure suction is on a great sale right now. You can always add the turbo head later if you want better cleaning performance on rugs. A Sebo k2 kombi or k2 turbo is also worth looking at. Same with a Henry 160 or xtra
r/VacuumCleaners • Strongest corded upright vaccum? ->Trash all of them, none of those are good vacuums (except the Miele). Also look into the Simplicity Jill, Henry 160 and Sebo K2.
r/VacuumCleaners • what is best vacuum for rugs and wood floors? ->I'd frankly go for a Henry 160. Can't go wrong!
r/VacuumCleaners • Commercial vs regular vacuum cleaner? Bagless or not? ->For a big, hardfloored home, you can’t get a better cleaner than a Henry 160.
r/VacuumCleaners • Advice needed —Want a Honda Civic vacuum — not a BMW! ->Miele C1 and Henry 160 are basically kinda equivalent, with some tradeoffs. Henry has a longer cord and bigger bag capacity. It is also fully sealed However the C1 has an automatic cord winder, and stows more compactly If you have enough budget, can stretch for a Lindhaus HF6. I have both a Henry and HF6 and the HF6 is superior in almost every way. Henry is a great machine though
r/VacuumCleaners • Help me pick a bagged vacuum for allergies! ->Vacuum cleaners you mean? The Pneumatic range i.e Henry, Hetty etc. they just work. There's a reason builders use them
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->100% shop vac. If you’re in Europe a popular one are those red or green Henry/George vacs. Afaik the green one can do wet vacuum too. Some shop vacs use bags that help with suction and disposing but they aren’t necessary to function.
r/AutoDetailing • Best vacuum type for car interior ->I have a karcher (think of it as an industrial cylinder) just like a henry - and there are some places in the house where it would be difficult to use the cylinder. Personally don't get rid of Henry - as it's a god send for a real good vacuum that sucks well and sucks up the mess in times of urgency (when your stand alone is battery drained. But I do recommend the Shark Stratos - it's a really good addition to my cylinder vacuum. It's lightweight and the battery lasts well. You can choose IQ sensos or eco mode or boost mode. With boost mode it sucks really well for a battery, but of course you do expect it to drain quickly in the process. Whether as a vacuum for the home or a smaller hoover for the stairs and clean up mess in the kitchen. The stratos has done a good job thus far. Battery 3.5 hours to charge up fully - and Ninja Kitchen UK and Shark are in the same group - so from a warranty point of view - you got it covered if anything goes wrong.
r/AskUK • What cordless vacuum cleaners are actually worth buying, but don’t break the bank? ->Henry gives a good suck for a reasonable price
r/AskUK • What should I be looking for when buying a new vacuum? ->Henry’s are excellent. There’s a reason cleaning contractors use them. Looking for a vacuum with bells and whistles is pointless, just more to go wrong. Two dogs and cats. One of the dogs sheds vacuum killing amounts of hair. I’ve replaced the filters and the hose in 12 years. He’s still going!
r/dogs • Recommend me a vacum cleaner. (not robot vacum please) ->Dyson are the ones of choice, however, I cannot betray my trusted HENRY hoover. It even has the right name!
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Vacuum cleaner recommendations ->Seconding Henry range - a no nonsense affordable hoover
r/dogs • Recommend me a vacum cleaner. (not robot vacum please) ->Get yourself a Henry hoover. Cute and will suck your dick clean off
r/VacuumCleaners • Whatever you do - never buy a Dyson ->Agreed - i've noticed lots of hotels use Henry too. I have one myself (multiple shedding animals at home) and it makes cleaning a breeze. Highly recommend! It's also still made in UK too.
r/australia • Vacuum Recommendations? ->We have a large flat with hard floors and two kids under 3. Looking for a light and reliable cordless for under £300 (if such a thing exists!) I've spotted a Miele duoflex hx1 for £279, various Sharks (stratos/clean and empty/power detect), Vax (homepro), Bosch (unlimited 9 cordless) but I'm drowning in reviews! I already have a Henry hoover which is powerful but weighs a ton and not practical for daily use. Looking for something I can use every day for a minute or two to pick up crumbs, dust, dirt dragged in by the buggy etc
r/VacuumCleaners • Miele, Shark, Vax, Bosch? Looking for cordless under £300 ->A Henry should be at the top of your list, since it's affordable and manufactured in the UK. You can use variety of parquet brushes and the horsehair ones would be great for LVP. A miele or Sebo would be more expensive and would come with extra bells and whistles such as self retracting cords and better ergonomics, storage. If you need to clean rugs, you can find a turbo attachment. These options will last you 15+ years. If you want something cordless, Dyson fluffy rollers are good for quick pickups and won't hurt the flooring. The V8 absolute package includes a fluffy roller and goes on sale intermittently to be within your budget. Keep in mind while it might be a space saving option and convenient, cordless stick vacuums usually last a couple of years before big problems arise, hence why the main recommendation is for bagged, plug in vacuums.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum Recommendations: No beater bars for LVT Coretec floors ->I've never head of a vaccuum cleaner with no consumable parts such as disposable bags, unfortunately. I wish I had one, that'd be great! Well the tiny cordless ones don't have disposable bags - you just pour the dust out into the litter bin - but they have *nowhere near* enough suction power for a couch. Vaccuming a couch needs a lot of suction power. Most durable brands have good suction power. Numatic (the ones with the faces on them) have fantastic suction power, are very durable, and it's easy to buy replacement parts if something breaks. It's a British brand so probably available in India. They are expensive, but less expensive than other vaccuums that are equally good. Since Numatic is so easy to repair, a secondhand Numatic might be a good choice?
r/BuyItForLife • whats a cheap reliable vacuum cleaner? ->I have a Henry Hoover and it's grand.
r/AskIreland • Vacuum cleaner recommendations? ->Get the Henry hoover, it’s made by a British company and it’s the dogs bollocks. I’ve had one for over ten years. Bags last for ages unless you’re hoovering up sawdust or something. I bought a bunch years ago and haven’t been through them yet. Also get a cheap robot hoover with lidar, it’s fucking brilliant too
r/AskUK • What type of hoover should I get? ->I love my Henry Hoover. It's powerful and efficient, plus all the parts are replaceable. It's also seen being used by F1 teams. He's just a happy little guy
r/australia • Vacuum Recommendations? ->I’ve had three Henry Hoovers in my life. And all three are still going strong, my original (18 years old) is used to vac up building debris, the second (12 years old) is used for my house, as it’s a filter one, and the third (brand new) is for my business premises. I’m under no illusion that these bastards will outlive me.
r/AskUK • What type of hoover should I get? ->At work we use a Henry. Best vacuum cleaner we've had and actually has some suction power.
r/australia • Vacuum Recommendations? ->We have a Henry but I’m looking at Charles (his brother) so that I can properly wash my car seats by deep soaking them and sucking the water (and the dirt along with it) out, on top of the normal Henry duties Works great if you keep on top of replacing the filter bags - which are expensive but there are cheap replicas about that do the job. If you don’t refill it when you need to, he starts to really smell when using him.
r/AskUK • Hoovers. What are you using and why? ->I would argue that no cordless vacuum will answer. Certainly not for 150 Swiss. Rabbit hair seems to jam the mechanisms like nothing else, especially if it has a rolling sweep function on the head. I would strongly reccomend a Henry Hoover. The A10 Warthog of the vacuum world. p.s the picture is hilarious!
r/Rabbits • (Europe) Best cordless vacuum cleaner for 4 rabbits? ->Get a Henry Hoover. Unbelievable suction power and super durable.
r/VacuumCleaners • Whatever you do - never buy a Dyson ->Henry is the best hoover, mine handled anything. Dirt, fur, plasterboard, nan's ashes, sawdust, you name it and he'll clean it.
r/AskUK • What type of hoover should I get? ->You can't go wrong with the Henry's. They last 7 years until you use it on a building site then 2 years isn't very good going for for it
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->Seconding Henry hoovers. They’re bulky and clunky but you’ll spend the £100approx once and not have to worry about them dying. In the time I’ve had my Henry I’ve gone through three hand held dysons and a handheld shark. Neither were worth the inflated money I paid for them, the Henry however is absolutely 10/10
r/UKFrugal • Decent, inexpensive vacuum cleaner needed. ->I had a Henry in the past and currently have a Shark. The henry was good but if you wanted to use the brushes on the head to lift up the carpet pile it can be quite hard work. It was also bulky and took up a lot of room in the under-stairs cupboard. The shark we have now is cordless and is decent and I enjoy using it. It has the head with the power-fins on it rather than a spinning brush. With this design I think it's better for hard floors rather than carpet. The fins don't do a good job of lifting the carpet pile. Without any weight keeping the head down, the head wobbles up and down if you drag the cleaner back against the direction of the pile.
r/AskUK • What should I be looking for when buying a new vacuum? ->Henry doesn't need bags , just empty into bin bag or bin, After the apocalypse it will be Henry that cleans up the mess Henry cleans where other vacuums fear to suck
r/AskUK • What type of hoover should I get? ->I use a Henry hoover. They can handle a lot but still manage to get blocked at times
r/guineapigs • UK recommendation for vacuum cleaner that can handle piggy mess ->Travesty for Henry Hoover to be missing from this list. Truly indestructible BIFL
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Ah my bad, missed that!
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Henry is brilliant, just a great, robust, bagged hoover that cleans well and.lasts for years and years.
r/AskUK • What should I be looking for when buying a new vacuum? ->I'm the UK a Henry £119. I don't know how you guys are spending $499 on it.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Henry has much worse suction than a fancy top-of-the-range thing, but most people find them adequate. They last forever though and like the original land rovers can be fixed with very simple tools by almost anyone. All the Miele/Dyson/portable stuff we've ever had has been garbage; Henry just keeps on going. Bags cost me like £3 every 5 years or something. \+1 for Henry. The other option is to get a robot. There are whole subs for those things. If you have pets they're probably the best route - but they do require that you keep the floors cleared for them so they can run.
r/AskUK • What type of hoover should I get? ->Henry, the best hoover on the market for the money
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->Over engineered and complicated, an absolute pig to work on as well. Miele for premium brand is much better or Numatic for budget (imo anyway)
r/nederlands • Over welke stofzuiger ben jij tevreden? ->Al sinds de vorige eeuw een Numatic en hij zuigt nog steeds de tapijttegels van de vloer als ik niet oplet.
r/nederlands • Over welke stofzuiger ben jij tevreden? ->Buy a Numatic, they are by far the best.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->You forgot it's about 100 times quieter... Shop Vacs are insanely loud. Numatics are one of the more quiet vacuums out there.
r/VacuumCleaners • Please don’t beat me up for asking this question, but why choose a Numatic over a shopvac? ->Numatic have a reputation for lasting decades. Also fully serviceable.
r/BuyItForLife • The BIFL Vacuum Market is Annoying Me: help! ->I would not add Johnny vac or Airstream to that list. Riccar currently they're only a decent product with the S10 . I would add Nilfisk, Numatic,VacuFlo,MD as good vacuums to that list. We all know about the troll that has been recently lurking. I suspect this post is a response to that.
r/VacuumCleaners • The reason brands like Sebo and Miele get recommended ->Numatic! Robuust en de zak gaat lang mee. Blijkbaar ook goed repareerbaar en niet zo fragiel als Dyson
r/nederlands • Over welke stofzuiger ben jij tevreden? ->Numatic is literally unkillable.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
