Based on 1 year's data from Mar 28, 2026 How it works
Lol, seriously but most cant figure out how to unclog the damn things, which is a bonus for me... i have several dyson cordless vacs , shark, and a bunch of idk the name vacs, takes me 3 minutes and ill make a profit off something so simple.... Ill stick with my old school Riccar 8955.... it was 700$ back in 2006, but its a beast that keeps on ticking! Yes it is bagged and I wouldn't want it any other way.
We have a Riccar, which we got from the local vacuum shop. It’s a bagged model and it plugs in, but it’s fantastic. Best vacuum I’ve ever owned. It was between Riccar and Miele for us, and we preferred the Riccar. We also have a Shark stick that we use for spot cleaning. It’s definitely not as good.
Pricey but the last one you’ll buy is Riccar upright, bag. Best system out there.
I don't have the turbo or the Intuition. I have a Riccar upright and then I bought the BC4030 canister. You might send a message to Kenmore to see if the canister attachment works on the Intuition, but I'm betting it doesn't.
If you get a room a for daily upkeep, get the one that empties itself. I love my room a but wish I would’ve gotten the self-emptying base. My upright is a Riccar. I’ve also owned a Miehle canister vac. Both are outstanding
I like my riccar upright. It’s very lightweight and works great.
If you can only buy one vacuum right now, get a canister. Sticks are convenient, but they don’t clean as well as a canister or upright (more of a concern for carpet than the hardwood). Years ago I bought a refurbished Riccar upright off eBay for $80 and it’s still going. If you don’t need one RIGHT NOW, definitely look for a refurbished Miele or Riccar.
I have several vacuums and I handpick Riccar just from 25 years of cleaning professionally, it’s hands down the best and takes a beating and still has superior suction, etc…. But I also have 2 cordless Dyson. I bought the first one a couple years ago and I bought a new d8 for like 250 bucks bc it was an older model. It’s still a beast. I own a sebo upright, it’s a fantastic vacuum and I own a shark Rocket (corded) I got it brand new out of a big lots dumpster, they threw away all the display vacs (my lucky day) I love the rocket, it’s light weight and has great suction, the only downside is the canister isn’t big enough. My old partner bought a shark vertex duoclean cordless vac a couple years ago. It did great when we would remember to charge the batteries… until it broke where it folds in half…. The thing about some of the shark vacuums is they are completely all plastic and as long as you are just using one to do basic cleaning just in your own home, they will do the trick….. it’s just not ideal for cleaners to haul around and use several hours daily. And to each their own, I hate and never cared for a Kirby,,never will…. But I’ve had clients that love them so much that it’s all I can use on their flooring, doesn’t mean I have to use one on my own flooring …. Good Luck OP Ps. They have brand new Dyson v8 at target 279$ Lowes has the Dyson d11 349$ fits your budget OP😉
I’m a big fan of riccar, hands down my favorite upright vacuum … I have too many vacuums but I might have to get me one of these
Miele canister or Riccaro upright. Bagged vacuum all the way.
We got tired of replacing vacuums every other year. Three large dogs. Bought an upright Riccar about 15 years ago, and it works like a champ. Ok, bags and maintenance add up, but at we still have a vacuum that works.
