Riccar - Prima Power Team with Tandem Air Nozzle (R50TAP.2)

I had a Riccar Prima canister, and it was a GIANT PILE OF TRASH. And is literally trash now - the power head broke, the wand broke, and I ended up getting so annoyed that I just gave up on it and threw the stupid thing out. I don't know what their uprights are like, but after being burned horribly on the Prima, I personally wouldn't recommend a Riccar to my worst enemy.

I’m currently trying to get a refund for a riccar prima I bought after reading reviews on it. Everyone says they are not made in America (which was a highly stressed selling point) I have tried googling this, but am having a hard time as the only info I can seem to find are Reddit posts and vacuum sealer sites.. which seem to be completely conflicting (Reddit made in China, dealers USA) any way you could help direct me where I can find the not made in USA info?

We have a Riccar, which we got from the local vacuum shop. It’s a bagged model and it plugs in, but it’s fantastic. Best vacuum I’ve ever owned. It was between Riccar and Miele for us, and we preferred the Riccar. We also have a Shark stick that we use for spot cleaning. It’s definitely not as good.

No cordless, no bag less. Riccar makes the best. All with warranty over a year. Great quality. Last forever plus decades.

Riccar? That’s in my top 3.

Real vacuum dealerships will not sell Dyson any longer. Many other traditional brands either because those companies have decided to produce in Asia and change designs super fast. It is the OPPOSITE of sustainability, it is planned obsolescence at an incredible level. Vacs should not be bought online and a big box stores, these machines do not clean carpet/air, are designed to fail, can’t be serviced and are literal fire hazards. Man the stories I can tell you about “brand new” machines. Most were manufactured years before they reached the consumer. CAVEAT EMPTOR. Dealerships sell quality machines, built to last, serviceable, at great competitive prices, with warranties that do not cost extra. You can’t find service like that anywhere! Find a dealer and buy Riccar or Sebo.

Mine imploded in less than a year. The motor died and it ate its own belt. Come to find out Most major brands in big box stores are owned by the same Chinese company and do not offer repairs. Just got a Riccar and am very happy with it

Riccar for carpet, Dyson V8 for the rest of life. Guaranteed.

Riccar or Miele. I've had both, currently have a Miele, and once you step into this range of vacuums you typically won't be satisfied with lower end models abilities. Amazing suction, independently powered brush heads, multi-stage HEPA filtration, etc. Not sure what model the other user that had Miele had, but mine is super well built, but that's expected when spending $1200+ on a vacuum.

I have a Riccar and also got the stick vac on Black Friday. Went with the self empty model and the way that thing is just easy to use has me grabbing it more often than not.

Maybe I missed it but in your links is the only place I’ve seen Riccar referenced. High quality vacuum- not sure how it’s not in OP’s data
