I haven't tried most of these so I can't compare/contrast, but my ryobi dust buster with the + bigger battery is a beast. Super suction, easy to find & replace filters, has lasted for 10 years now, no complaints at all. It's way more powerful than the average dust buster and I could imagine it easily powering a stick vac. ultimately it also comes down to which tools/batteries you already own. I have a bunch of ryobi tools so it was an easy pick. My cordless drill, my air compressor for inflating tires, my leaf blower sweeper thing, etc all take the same battery.

I have an older, but similar, Ryobi hand vac. It works well for picking up tofu litter. (I haven’t tried it with the more common clay-type litters.)

I've got a Ryobi hand vac and the reason it'll last for a long time is because there is no point using it. I like Ryobi stuff generally but very disappointed with the hand vac.

Mine is the multisurface which I think is the cheapest one. Maybe I've just got a rubbish one or maybe it's not a great model. Just disappointing suction.

Just snagged a handheld from them that has been great – was this a standup vac? I've seen mixed reviews with those

Thanks, I’ve tried many times to no avail. I need to wash filter after every “use” just to get medium speed to somewhat “work”. It still pulses on medium, nothing on high.

I have probably 10+ m12 tools but had an 18V ryobi battery lying around I found in my shed when I bought my place. I got the 18v ryobi hand held vacuum for 25$ on sale and said if I use it enough to break it I’ll get the Milwaukee, it’s been 3-4 years of hard abuse in the garage and outside and it’s still great
