"Sebo has superb customer service. ... Both companies have a real live human in the US who answers the phone!"
"price of replacement parts is a huge reason i recommend sebo vacuums."
"a 7-10 year warranty on motor and non-wear parts. ... No other vacuum company stands behind their product the way they so (not even Miele these days.)"

"My Dysons kept dying on me after 2-3 years even with good maintenance because of all the pet hair that would clog them up. ... Sebo is an absolute god send if you have pets."
"It's an incredible carpet cleaning machine. ... It will actually remove all that embedded dirt and hair. ... If you get any sort of satisfaction from having things deep cleaned, it will make you WANT to vacuum. ... I love vacuuming because my home is so clean after using it, it's just very satisfying."

"Every couple to three months you will open the dust bin, place a cap on a bag and throw the bag away. No dust clouds, no pulling clumps of filth out, no filter washing and no dust bin cleaning. ... I've had my Felix for over a year and have cleaned the machine itself exactly zero times so far. ... The vast majority of people will go through a bag every 2-4 months on a bagged cleaner. This does depend on bag size for the machine, home size, cleaning needs (pets, kids etc.), but it's definitely not frequent. I have a Border Collie that sheds like crazy, a pretty average home size and I have been changing bags every 3 months so far. This idea that buying bags and changing them is inconvienent is a huge success of the marketing teams at Shark and Dyson. It simply isn't an inconvienence or a problem. I spent about $20 last year on bags, with my Shark I was spending more than double that on filter replacements."
"it's so NICE to throw the bag of stinky (I have a golden retriever XD) dog hair into the trash and not have it funking up the whole vacuum, forever."
"With bagged vacuums with hepa bags, the bags filter the dirt and dust so they protect the motor from getting dust in it better than bagless ones do. ... The hepa bags also filter the air better. ... Because the motor is protected by the bag from dust, bagged vacuums tend to last much longer."

My recomendations would be to get a compact bagged canister vacuums. they are very light weight, easy to use and have far better suction than any of the stick vacuums. If you really want something similar to a stick vacuum, get a sebo dart, or sebo felix, or miele upright. U wont miss with both of these brands.
r/VacuumCleaners • Is the Dyson worth it? ->Not sure how to update the post, but ended up going with the Sebo Dart for $396! Thanks everybody.
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->I agree that there are some brands that are wickedly expensive and not worth the price of entry. I do think that the Miele C1 for $279 is the steal of the century and it has a 5yr warranty (I think). Buying a SEBO Dart for $500 might seem like a lot, but with a 10 year warranty (which is the minimum I think a vacuum would last from this company) means that you’ve only paid $50/yr for the vacuum. However, if you just cannot fathom or are unable to think about such a purchase right now or in the immediate future Sanitaire is a great brand with semi- and fully-commercial offerings.
r/VacuumCleaners • Wondering if anyone here has experience or knows of the Ryobi ONE+ Stick Vacuums and could help with advice on if I should get one or not, Ryobi tools have held up for quite a while and one of my favorite brands here in Australia. (I hate the pull along canister vacuums) ->Sebo dart, without a doubt!
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum recommendations? ->A few reasons: 1) Dyson is bagless. Bagless vacuums don’t have the suction, filtration or lifespan of a bagged vacuum. Plus they require constant cleaning and messing with filters etc. A bagged vacuum performs much better and only requires a bag change every ~3 months or so and filter changes annually. That’s it. 2) Take a look at r/dyson the company as a whole is currently in a nosedive. Customers are literally being extorted, lied to and ripped off. Customer service is non-existent 3) Dyson was never really that great. Maybe back with their first uprights they were decent. But they’ve always made lackluster, brittle machines (take a look around this sub, they don’t get much love) For your budget and flooring: Kenmore 600 series pop and go or Kenmore Elite if you prefer an upright. If you can stretch slightly a Sebo dart is an excellent BIFL-level option.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum Recs Under $300, Shark? Dyson? Others? ->Sharks and Dysons are for houses that hate money and love throwing it away. I’d avoid cordless (at least for your primary vacuum). Depending on your definition of mid-level is, check out a Sebo dart. It will last 20+ years. IMO it’s worth the price of admission. Cordless sticks (LG A9 etc.) serve a purpose for quick daily messes. But for whole house weekly deep cleaning you’ll want corded/bagged like the above Sebo.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Budget to Mid-Level Price Range Vacuum ->Definitely exchange that for a visa gift car if you can. BBY has a terrible selection sadly. Then check out a Sebo dart or Felix. They’re lightyears better than your old Shark and anything best buy sells.
r/VacuumCleaners • Need a Vacuum and BestBuy is the store. ->No, not any more at least. And they’re designed to be obsolete within a few years and purposely don’t sell parts. IMO avoid at all costs. A carpet vacuum like a Sebo dart runs about $550 and will last you a couple of decades.
r/VacuumCleaners • Does Shark still make a good vacuum ->Look to corded and bagged. They’re the gold standard. If you prefer an upright a Sebo dart or Felix is excellent. So is a Sebo K3 or E3 or Miele C1 cat and dog. All of these are at the top end of your budget and beyond. But if you want something that will last years and years (decade or two) these are well worth the price. IMO your best bet is to find a local Miele/Sebo dealer and take the above for a test drive before you buy.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for pet hair in 2025? Need something that actually sucks (in a good way) ->None. That Miele is great but only for hard flooring. The shark and Dyson are junk. If you can stretch to ~$400 a Sebo dart is excellent and on sale until Tuesday I believe at your local Sebo dealer. If not, Kenmore 600 series pop and go
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->Holy moly. Thats an amazing price on the dart!
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->By design bagged vacuums last longer and filter better. A bunch of screens and filters on bagless vacuums get clogged, kill airflow and cause the motor to stress and prematurely die. Also bagged vacuums lose very little suction over the life of the bag (3 months or so). You won’t go through nearly as many bags as you’d think. And ordering bags isn’t too bad of a hassle if a) you leave a post it on your last bag as a reminder to order more b) you have a local store c) set up reoccurring purchases to be auto-delivered. If you’re looking for longevity bagged is absolutely the way to go. Since an upright is preferred - A Sebo dart is ~$550 or so and will last you roughly 20 years with proper maintenance. The side carry handle is nice for going up stairs with and has a hose with dusting attachments as well. If you have a local Sebo dealer stop in and take it for a test drive!
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for a recommendation for a bagless pet hair vacuum ->Yes absolutely corded and bagged is the way to go. Sebo dart is a great option especially if being too rough is a concern as it has an optional “soft” brushroll you can swap out easily.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Vacuum for Carpet? Need Something That Actually Works ->Check out Sebo. Their uprights are excellent.
r/VacuumCleaners • Is Vorwerk the only upright vacuum cleaner for carpets ->Definitely don’t buy a $75 cordless vacuum. It will be in the trash before the New Year then you’ll be looking to replace it, wasting even more money. If you can stretch slightly (a bit). Keep an eye out for Black Friday sales for a Hoover Complete performance or Kenmore intuition. Agreed with Performance reviews - used is a great option for that budget. A used Miele, Sebo, Oreck or Sanitare
r/VacuumCleaners • Any ideas for good vacuums $75 or less? ->Sebo dart is on budget - it’s on sale (today is the last day) at your local Sebo dealer. If the carpeting is still bogging down the dart (unlikely) they make a green “soft” brushroll for that purpose as well. Try it with the regular one first though.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for thick carpet? ->If you can stretch slightly - a Sebo dart. If not, Kenmore elite upright. You’ll be shocked how much debris can fit into a bag. (Keep in mind your first bag will fill up more quickly than subsequent bags) expect to get ~3 months out of a bag.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for a vacuum for pet hair, medium pile carpet, under $350 ->Simplicity allergy, Kenmore elite upright, Sebo dart. If you can flex your budget the dart is an excellent option.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for me? ->Honestly both of those are not great options. Take a look around the sub. Dyson and Shark are generally bad vacuums with flashy marketing and 0 longevity or cleaning ability. Sebo dart should be at the top of your list. See if you have a local Sebo dealer and take it for a test drive. Even with a high shedding dog you won’t go through bags nearly as quick as you might think. Bagged machines **compress** the fur. Where as bagless fluffs it up.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best upright under $500? ->It should be $549 but worth every penny of the 10% overage. For your flooring I really wouldn’t recommend much else. It’s a BIFL workhorse that should last you 20+ years with proper care.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best upright under $500? ->Definitely don’t get another Dyson. Check out a Sebo dart or Miele C1 cat and dog. Both are excellent. If you can stretch your budget, Sebo k3 or Felix
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for husky dog hair and messy kids ->Sebo dart for sure.
r/VacuumCleaners • What vacuum cleaner should I buy? ->Definitely the Sebo dart then. It’s excellent and should last you 20+ years. Find a local Sebo dealer and take it for a test drive. It’s bagged. Which means almost 0 maintenance compared to shitty bagless vacs we all are used too. Empty the bag when it’s full every 2-3 months and replace the motor filters annually. Thats it.
r/VacuumCleaners • Good vacuum for Hard floors and carpets? ->Sebo dart without question.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuums for pet hair on carpet ->Around your budget: Simplicity allergy However, if you can splurge a Sebo dart is excellent. The brushroll pops out on 2 seconds with no tools for easier hair removal.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for a Carpet Vacuum Cleaner Under $300 (Long Hair Friendly) ->Fwiw that vacuum will last you 20 years most likely. Yes it’s a lot upfront. But it’s worth it in the long run imo. I learned this the hard way after burning through 2 sharks and 2 Dysons over the course of ~6 years and well over $1k. Also “self cleaning” or “anti-tangle” is mostly marketing garbage. The simplicity is still a great unit for the price. See if you have a local dealer that sells simplicity. You can take it for a test drive first before buying.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for a Carpet Vacuum Cleaner Under $300 (Long Hair Friendly) ->No - Dysons are a sad shell of what they used to be. And it seems like you got very lucky with yours. If you want another upright that will last as long, grab a Sebo dart or Felix.
r/VacuumCleaners • My original Dyson lasted me 19 years. Are Dysons any good still? Or should I switch to a Sebo? Have carpet upstairs and on the stairs. Roomba takes care of the tIle downstairs. ->Dysons are disliked around here for a few reasons 1) Because they have had a monumental fall from grace, check out some horror stories on r/dyson. Literal extortion and stealing from their customer service team. Not to mention the quality of products has also taken a nosedive in the last ~3-5 years or so 2) Not specific to Dyson but cordless/bagless vacuums in general were never intended for whole home cleaning. Really just quick spot messes and pickups. 3) They’re not designed to last, in fact the opposite. Planned obsolescence plays a heavy hand in Dyson’s business model. When something breaks, the entire unit goes in the trash. They don’t support with parts anymore. 4) For what they are and how they perform, they just **cost too damn much**. Ideally you’ll want a corded and bagged primary vacuum for weekly deep cleans. Then a cordless/bagless stick for quick daily messes. I’d check out a Sebo dart or Miele C1 cat and dog for your primary vacuum. Both of these will last you around 20 years with proper care. Plus if something breaks you can actually fix it. I also think you’ll notice a big difference in allergies with a bagged machine. Emptying the Dyson re-releases millions of particles back into the air (if the gaskets aren’t already leaking). Keep your current Dyson for quick messes if it’s still usable.
r/VacuumCleaners • Why is Dyson bad and what should I get instead? ->If you prefer an upright - Sebo dart. If you’re open to a canister (ideal for your flooring imo) - Kenmore 600 series pop and go. Or Miele C1 cat and dog.
r/VacuumCleaners • Advice - any affordable non-junk? ->The Sebo Dart is a great vacuum, that said, I find it’s easier to do stairs with a canister. The Kenmore 700/800 series are a great canister that should last a good amount of time.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum recommendations? ->Going off your requirements including 80% carpet 20% hard floors, 2 cats, reliable and easy to repair: you’re looking at $550+. So Sebo Dart or Felix if you want an upright or Miele canister.
r/VacuumCleaners • What vacuum cleaner should I buy? ->Just switched from a Dyson to Sebo Dart a week ago and just wow, incredible machine. Do not pick Dyson
r/VacuumCleaners • Please help me find vacuum cleaner! ->I bought a Dart based on the recommendations in this group and absolutely love it. We have 3 indoor cats and a husky and it is amazing at getting up pet hair. 10/10 recommend!
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Vacuum for Carpet? Need Something That Actually Works ->I really like my Sebo Dart, but it could just be the sunk cost fallacy talking, that thing was expensive.
r/VacuumCleaners • Ive been trying to find a vacuum, I scoured the sub for hours. Conclusion? r/VacuumCleaners hate vacuum cleaners and apparently i should just buy a broom. ->I wouldn’t go cordless with your amount of carpeting. Over time, it won’t get the carpets clean. If you want one machine, something like a SEBO Dart or Kenmore BU4050 would be nimble enough to get into your space and clean your carpet and hard floors with well. Otherwise, pair the Dyson V8 with something like a Riccar Supralite or an Oreck, using the upright for deep cleaning and the V8 for touch ups.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for a vacuum for a small, cluttered apartment ->There's probably a bit more wrong with a Dyson that age .Have you changed the clutch in the past 2 years? You've had a really good run I wouldn't put any more money into a machine like that. The rest of the plastic is just as brittle. If you're looking for something that's going to last another 20 years you should definitely look to a different brand. Dyson states that their current machines should last 5 years for plug in machines& 2-4 years for cordless. The SEBO Dart will serve you well. More on that. https://youtu.be/MIk727aK6Kc
r/VacuumCleaners • My original Dyson lasted me 19 years. Are Dysons any good still? Or should I switch to a Sebo? Have carpet upstairs and on the stairs. Roomba takes care of the tIle downstairs. ->Agree with everyone saying SEBO, biggest reasons being top quality, easy to clean, and very strong. The best tool for pet hair, especially on floors is the premium parquet tool which is included with the Felix (~$700). The dart is the simpler version ~$500 and you can buy the tool separately. All of their products come with a 10 year warranty if you buy in store
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for pet hair in 2025? Need something that actually sucks (in a good way) ->I've been waiting for a review on this, thank you!! Yeah this machine is too cheap to pay for repairs if something goes wrong. If you absolutely have to have a budget/mid-range canister, this will do, but I think it's worth spending more for a SEBO or Miele that will last longer and perform better
r/VacuumCleaners • Why the Kenmore 600 vacuum is a Paper Tiger ->I just got Sebo Dart for my low pile wall to wall carpet and I’m happy with it. It’s a bit heavy if you try to lift it with one hand, so I just roll it around instead and lift with two hands if I have to. If my budget was higher, I would’ve gone for Sebo Felix, which is the premium version of Dart, it swivels and has suction adjustment. After the first pass I had a full brush roll of hair. Removed the brush roll, took the hair off, popped it back in, everything was seamless.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Vacuum for Low Pile Carpet ->I have that Shark Stratos. I bought it before I knew better. It's okay but if I were you I would go with the Kenmore 600 or Sebo Dart. Bagless vacuums are NOT as good as bagged ones.
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->If you prefer an upright, I think you would be happier with the Dart. Plus you can get an AWESOME deal on it right now and it has an incredible warranty. You may never need to buy another vacuum. Personally, I prefer canisters so I would probably get the Kenmore 600. One day I want to get the Sebo E3.
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->Stay away from both shark and Dyson if you love your money. If you hate your money, go for them. Both are filled with gimmicks. The anti-tangle thing with the combs on the roller is a gimmick. There’s a reason why higher-end vacuums don’t have those. And how can you say that the SEBO dart gets hair tangled in it when you haven’t used it yet? That vacuum will easily last 15 years. The shark and Dyson will easily last you 2 to 3 years maximum before they need to be replaced.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for a Carpet Vacuum Cleaner Under $300 (Long Hair Friendly) ->The Hepa exhaust filter is a Hepa filter placed after the motor. It’s the final filtration and it also catches carbon dust from the motor. Rarely a few vacuums have the Hepa filter before the motor and some only have a basic filter after the motor. All 3 I listed have a good exhaust filter/post motor filter. The Kenmore Elite is a good budget choice. There’s the Riccar R25S that’s a decent choice but they start at $499 and at that price the Sebo Dart $550 is a much better vacuum.
r/VacuumCleaners • Need Vacuum Effective at Sucking Up Mold Spores ->All Sebos have S-Class filters which are really good and nearly Hepa. The Sebo Dart and Felix do not have Hepa filters. There are a few Sebo models, such as the K3 and X7, that have optional Hepa filters.
r/VacuumCleaners • Need Vacuum Effective at Sucking Up Mold Spores ->Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and Home Depot usually don't have any quality vacuums in-store. I think it's well worth waiting a few days for a much better vacuum to be delivered. Around $300 I'd choose the [Kenmore BC3005/400 Series Canister](https://www.amazon.com/Kenmore-Friendly-Lightweight-Telescoping-Retractable/dp/B08M36B5JZ/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1LIN73WN60Q7U&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8ewF-JMcxGUJ0_bJKD7ZQawRw6pGpO5OqeApeQnrzJVixousGI7XFMmJYWgqPSMdOfLQVxtKW8mvL7fqqWDuU0OxsMALT5P9LSR7Kj7TwLJ6y02PCX-1rOub2dkSuAFrWKxtyNqwBnMBkLHpNHeS74DFEgjiTjwmJtv6tLH5Z9cIKfVJcD6kkFBUVjukEGxJCgp01yAPyB3iAnMIc-p48IZiKIYck6Fy_2yxe3qOtt0.oaUnR4UjlFHOP9LBRtFDoHqx5BK8KC8OrxgAOOr-MgI&dib_tag=se&keywords=kenmore%2Bvacuum&qid=1739653359&sprefix=kenmore%2Bvacuum%2Caps%2C209&sr=8-4&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.5998aa40-ec6f-4947-a68f-cd087fee0848&th=1) $248 or the [Kenmore Elite Upright](https://www.amazon.com/Kenmore-Allergy-Friendly-Beltless-Upright/dp/B075DZY7FR/ref=sr_1_9?crid=1LIN73WN60Q7U&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8ewF-JMcxGUJ0_bJKD7ZQawRw6pGpO5OqeApeQnrzJVixousGI7XFMmJYWgqPSMdOfLQVxtKW8mvL7fqqWDuU0OxsMALT5P9LSR7Kj7TwLJ6y02PCX-1rOub2dkSuAFrWKxtyNqwBnMBkLHpNHeS74DFEgjiTjwmJtv6tLH5Z9cIKfVJcD6kkFBUVjukEGxJCgp01yAPyB3iAnMIc-p48IZiKIYck6Fy_2yxe3qOtt0.oaUnR4UjlFHOP9LBRtFDoHqx5BK8KC8OrxgAOOr-MgI&dib_tag=se&keywords=kenmore%2Bvacuum&qid=1739653359&sprefix=kenmore%2Bvacuum%2Caps%2C209&sr=8-9&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.5998aa40-ec6f-4947-a68f-cd087fee0848&th=1) $279. Both have carpet height adjustment and brushroll shutoff so they can do both hard floors and carpets and rugs. The Kenmore BC3005 has a longer flexible hose and will have a very lightweight hard floor brush, but some people dislike how canisters move. The Kenmore Elite is a very good carpet cleaner and it's not too heavy to push, but it's very heavy to lift up. Kenmore makes affordable bagged vacuums that should last around 5+ years. If you want a BIFL vacuum I'd check out the [Sebo Dart](https://sebo.us/product/dart) MSRP $599 (usually on sale $549). The Sebo Dart is a very well built vacuum. It's powerful and quieter than the average vacuum. But it's top heavy and the hose is short.
r/VacuumCleaners • Quality vacuum I can pick up in person? ->What's your budget? For a mix of hard floors and carpet you'll want a vacuum with a spinning brushroll for the carpets and brushroll shutoff or a hard floor brush for the wood. Hepa bags are better filters and bagged vacuums last longer. Riccar R25 Standard $500 and Riccar R25 Deluxe $600 are uprights that can do carpet and hard floors and the hose is pretty long. Sebo Dart $550 and Sebo Felix $700 are really durable and long lasting upright vacuums. The Dart is capable the Felix adds swivel steering and the Premium Parquet Brush. Sebos come with a 10-year warranty from authorized dealers. Miele Classic C1 Cat & Dog $631 are a very high quality and quiet canister vacuum with a powerhead and hard floor brush. Zero G $679 is another very good canister vacuum that hovers on its own exhaust. It comes with a ton of accessories. Among these the Sebo Dart and Sebo Felix are very easy to use and the most durable and repairable. There are cheaper vacuums like the Kenmore 31140 Elite $250 and Kenmore 600 Series Canister $330 that are very capable on carpets. They're not as manueverable on hard floors and they won't last as long as any of the four above choices. Under $200 vacuums last 2-3 years. Cordless vacuums have batteries that wear out in a couple years even from expensive brands. What do you think?
r/VacuumCleaners • Recommended vacuum for my son's first house ->When I moved from bagless vacuums to a Miele and a Sebo you'll notice how strong the suction is and how quiet it is compared to the average bagless vacuum. The materials are thicker and nicer. With Sebos I really like how much I can take it apart and replace almost anything myself. Do try one out in person first, many people prefer uprights to canisters. I grew up with Kenmore canister vacuums so I didn't have to adjust how I vacuum.
r/VacuumCleaners • My first "luxury" vacuum and I went all in. I'm smitten ->I wouldn't get anything without a powerhead for your carpets and idealy you want a bagged vacuum. If you can up your budget to $400 then you can take advantage of the current Sebo Dart sale The Sebo Dart is currently $440. [Use code CYBER for 10% off brings it to $396](https://www.qualitysewing.com/products/sebo-dart-upright-vacuum)
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->Lowest I’ve ever seen it
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->It’s height adjustable so all piles of carpet will be fine. If you have very high pile like shag carpet I would opt for a carpet rake attachment instead of a powerhead
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best vacuum to buy of these 3 options? ->Kenmore had awful hoses on a lot of their canister vacuums and cheap friction fit electrical contacts. They did not punch above their price, they were fine for their price. Plastics weren’t anything special but weren’t bad. Also, a lot of them were a Panasonic. Consumer reports once put kenmore at the top and Panasonic at the bottom and they were the same vacuum. Kenmores, despite making the hepa claim, did not filter to the hepa level for a lot of them. I know because I used a particle scanner from IQ air to test them. They are fine vacuums, but there is No way you can put it besides Miele and Sebo. They’re on a level above without question.
r/VacuumCleaners • The reason brands like Sebo and Miele get recommended ->The main thing with any vacuum is that you enjoy using it. You will use a vacuum more often that you enjoy using. And those vacuums will vacuum fine too and yeah have very good power! From an overall customer feedback prospective, the all swivel wheels of the Miele and swivel at the hand grip end of the hose vs the canister end of the kenmore just gets better feedback. There is 0 reason to not have a swivel at the handle end of the hose. From what I saw, the main thing that went on the kenmore was the hose because it didn't swivel on the handle and the wiring would separate. Miele also did this for one of it's models and it's the most problematic hose they ever had too. And you're correct that the equivalent feature set of a miele vs a kenmore was more expensive on a Miele. When I had customers looking at a panasonic (same as kenmore as they made a lot of them), I would always tell them that the panasonic cleaned the same and was essentially half the price and took a bag which is great! But it exhaust straight out the back (blows away dust on the floor behind it), doesn't filter as well, and from again a customer feedback prospective isn't as easy to use which most customers agreed with. But you like using it then that's great! Cleaning wasn't one of its issues.
r/VacuumCleaners • The reason brands like Sebo and Miele get recommended ->They’re fine for the price typically and seem to overall last and have a bag which is great. The handles aren't that solid and the powerhead has a more basic approach but I'm ok with them. Their lightweight as well. I see a lot of them though priced more than $400+ canadian and a Sebo dart is $549 canadian so I can't recommend it beside the sebo, but If their arouf 300-350 ish then they're fine.
r/VacuumCleaners • The reason brands like Sebo and Miele get recommended ->HUGE fan of our Sebo Dart.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->I would try to find a Sebo dealer and see if they will give you a deal on the Sebo Dart!
r/VacuumCleaners • Good vacuum for Hard floors and carpets? ->It fits all your recs
r/VacuumCleaners • Good vacuum for Hard floors and carpets? ->Sebo are expensive, but they are incredible. If you can afford it, I recommend. Miele are also great. The place I purchased from had both on display. I preferred the Sebo for the ease of removing the brush roller. This makes it really easy to remove the hair that gets wrapped around it.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->If you're cleaning a lot of hardwood floors, I would not do Sebo uprights as they don't have a brushroll shutoff Electric brooms like the Sebo Felix/Dart, Lindhaus Valzer, Healthcare Pro can fit both the hard floor tools and motorized brushrolls from Sebo/Lindhaus Uprights like the Lindhaus Diamante have 2 motors and the brushroll can be turned off for hard floors. Not ideal if hardfloors are your main surface For canisters, Sebo D9 (the commercial version of the D4) and Lindhaus HF6 would be good options for doing it all. They have the electric brushrolls, huge bag capacity, commercial warranties, and long cords

r/VacuumCleaners • Top all around vacuum cleaners for busy residential house cleaning business? ->Twenty seven years ago we purchased a Eureka canister that broke within a year. We ended up with a Miele. That thing still runs and I use it to clean my unfinished basement twice a year. My new Miele canister lives on my first floor for hardwood and my Sebo upright in s upstairs for carpeting. The Sebo is heavy but it’s a beast that will definitely outlive me. I now have two very cheap cordless vacuums that I use like Dustbusters. I’ve never understood why people buy that Dyson crap. There are complaints everywhere. There’s a difference between a company that spends money on engineering and quality and one that spend it on advertising. Dyson spends it on advertising. I’d vote for Miele everyday.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->V11 and later versions of their cordless perform ok for thick carpets. You have to open the front gates to relieve pressure. If you have a lot of carpet, you have to learn to stop cleaning your entire home in one go. If you really want a Dyson, I would personally only get the Ball Animal 3 for your thick carpets. It also works really well for hard floors. You should watch Vacuum War's review on it to see if it fits your needs. DO NOT get any other version of Dyson uprights, they are horrible and only work on very specific types of carpets. Otherwise, a Sebo upright is my next recommendation if you don't mind bagged.
r/dyson • What is the best vacuum for carpeted floors? ->SEBO for upright. Miele for canister. Miele has slightly better filtration than SEBO but I personally prefer SEBO canisters and uprights due to better warranty and cost of ownership
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for the best bagged HEPA vacuum with a sealed system ->I'm probably going to get down voted for this but I'd stay away from Riccar. They aren't what they used to be. SEBO and Miele are the ones that get the most love and for good reason. I prefer SEBO above all because they're 100% German made machines, they have a great ecosystem, are easy to self service and parts are readily available. They have great filtration and bags are inexpensive. As for ZeroG, I'd be skeptical of them. They are a small company and every time I look at their website they are always out of stock. They use proprietary bags that are not available anywhere but their own website. What happens if/when they go out of business? Can't get bags for them and the machine is useless. I will say they make a nice looking machine with awesome features and performance. I'd buy one second hand if I could find one but if I paid full price and couldn't get service or parts then I'd be upset.
r/VacuumCleaners • Recommended vacuum for my son's first house ->There are a handful of vacuums that can clean the Mohawk SmartStrand Silk “soft carpet.” 1. Kirby (with the optional delicate brush roll I presume) 2. Miele C3 with the SEB228; used to be a SoftCarpet model but it wasn’t much different from the other C3s. 3. Sebo vacs with the ET-1 nozzle (adjustable suction, manual carpet height adjustment) with the delicate brush roll 4. Kenmore Elite canister 5. Rainbow SRX with v1.0 and v1.2 power nozzle + soft brush roll 6. SoniClean - I think those are the vacs that have a vibrating pad instead of a revolving brush roll There are more, but these are a few of them. Adjustable carpet height paired with adjustable suction are must have features for those types of carpet, but I like them for any type of carpet.
r/VacuumCleaners • Soniclean ->I could have sworn it was LT-1. It’s ET-1. I was referring to the electric power nozzle used on their canisters, and the Dart/Felix uprights. It’s also available for central vacs.
r/VacuumCleaners • Soniclean ->Sebo powerhead. So incredibly easy to clean. I also had great luck with the Shark duoclean powerfin system but the actual vacuum was a dumpster file. Didn’t last a year. I also learned I prefer bagged vacuums to help trap and contain the allergies, dust, hair. My Sebo canister has four levels of filtering on it. My Dyson smells like it has none.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for pet hair in 2025? Need something that actually sucks (in a good way) ->Try the Sebos with the ET-1 head. The roller comes out super easily and is direct drive. My dog doesn’t she’d, but my wife and daughters do!
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->The comment regarding the handle creaky sounds and audible air leak... I have found the audible air leak in multiple Miele canisters (over the years) AND Sebo. I don't think this is a change from previous models I've used. It just seems to be a reality that they don't see as a significant concern (ie. likely to not affect performance in a meaningful way, but preventing it would probably require fittings that would likely add cost, decrease dependability, and in the very least, wear down with not much use to the point that they ultimately start leaking). I really don't think it likely makes a noteworthy difference and they know the benefit:cost situation. As for the creaky handle -with even slight "give" in it, I have definitely noted it, but again, I believe it is one of those, "it doesn't actually affect anything in a meaningful way, but it does allow for the fit and connections as intended" situations. I could be wrong, but if it were an issue, I think warranty costs alone would discourage them from continuing with the practice. BUT, again, there is no doubt, that it is a very real thing. I haven't had an issue with the swivel of the ET-1 but prefer how light and maneuverable it feels to me. The low profile is also much better than \*most\* of the high end power heads I've used. Thank you for the review and thoughts. It is nice to hear about experiences!
r/VacuumCleaners • Sebo E3 Real World Review ->Sebo is most of my business so that!
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum cleaner of 2025???? ->none, save your money and get a vacuum that isn't overpriced and unreliable like every shark is, for $400 you can get a really decent spec miele or sebo, both of which are fantastic for carpets
r/VacuumCleaners • Which Shark vacuum should I buy? ->Dyson V 15 and Sebo owner with two super hairy shorthairs living in a cement floored warehouse with lots of Turkish area rugs. Not sure what your obviously perfect feline does but life with my kitties has its challenges. They are dirt attractants to say nothing of the charms of litter in bare fee. Couldn’t live without the instant availability of a cordless and the 15 is a solid performer in all areas. My rugs do look cleaner after a full Sebo experience but I’m lazy and place is big. I have come to realize you need more than one vacuum, unless you have only one flooring type , don’t have to carry up stairs or navigate a labyrinth of hallways and live in under 1000sq ft.
r/VacuumCleaners • What should I get to vacuum lots of cat hair? ->My Sebo was around that, but should last long enough to be less money than buying multiple vacuums.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Big dyson hater here. New dyson's are absolutely junk. I'd go with a sebo.
r/VacuumCleaners • My original Dyson lasted me 19 years. Are Dysons any good still? Or should I switch to a Sebo? Have carpet upstairs and on the stairs. Roomba takes care of the tIle downstairs. ->If you want another option, look into Sebo vacuums. They’re a bit pricey but built like tanks and great for allergy control. The sealed system is no joke.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for highly allergic pet ->My Sebo is my favorite appliance. They're easy to maintain and I got a killer deal on FB Marketplace.
r/VacuumCleaners • My original Dyson lasted me 19 years. Are Dysons any good still? Or should I switch to a Sebo? Have carpet upstairs and on the stairs. Roomba takes care of the tIle downstairs. ->And officially it’s my goal to thank every single one of you all that recommended my vacuum for me. 6 months in with our particular Sebo and we’re hooked on the quality of it. OP, when you get a better vacuum, you’re going to flip at the night and day difference in customer service. Our new vacuum had a teeny tiny nuisance issue, took it to the shop where we bought it, turns out there was a service notice for the issue. Fixed and turned around in under 2 hours with no charge. Post your requirements, and let this wonderful community guide you!
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->Ok so maybe someone can tell me what's going on here. I have a Sebo, it does a good job on carpet but on linoleum does a shitty job like it doesn't have enough suction to effectively vacuum without the carpet head.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->The answer is always Miele or Sebo
r/VacuumCleaners • Recommended vacuum for my son's first house ->I would check out r/vacuumcleaners. I have a Sebo, they have a 10 year warranty and are repairable.
r/homemaking • Vacuum Cleaner Recommendations? ->Very interesting, I thought Dyson was the most hated on Reddit. I spent months to read comments and ended up with Sebo. Used Dyson before and it was mid.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->You’ll save money. If you buy a Dyson or Shark you’ll have to spend another 200 or 300 bucks in a few years. If you buy a Sebo, you will be set for 10 to 20 years.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for a Carpet Vacuum Cleaner Under $300 (Long Hair Friendly) ->A Henry should be at the top of your list, since it's affordable and manufactured in the UK. You can use variety of parquet brushes and the horsehair ones would be great for LVP. A miele or Sebo would be more expensive and would come with extra bells and whistles such as self retracting cords and better ergonomics, storage. If you need to clean rugs, you can find a turbo attachment. These options will last you 15+ years. If you want something cordless, Dyson fluffy rollers are good for quick pickups and won't hurt the flooring. The V8 absolute package includes a fluffy roller and goes on sale intermittently to be within your budget. Keep in mind while it might be a space saving option and convenient, cordless stick vacuums usually last a couple of years before big problems arise, hence why the main recommendation is for bagged, plug in vacuums.
r/VacuumCleaners • Vacuum Recommendations: No beater bars for LVT Coretec floors ->how brilliant that youve been using it that long : ) sebos are fantastic machines and definitely recommend if you want to upgrade but they are expensive on the other hand you can find replacement cyclones for your dc07 very easily online if you want to breathe new life into that
r/VacuumCleaners • My original Dyson lasted me 19 years. Are Dysons any good still? Or should I switch to a Sebo? Have carpet upstairs and on the stairs. Roomba takes care of the tIle downstairs. ->That’s what I thought, too. Here’s my math on that: I spent $1k on my Sebo in March. I added up the cost of the 3 Dyson vacuums( I’ve had since 2017) and the parts I’ve had to replace = I should have bought a Sebo sooner. Models I’m literally placing on the curb tomorrow for whoever wants them. I’ve had it with Dyson’s cheap plastic crap: The upright Dyson (2021), V6 (2017) replaced with V11 (2022). All have had their brush heads replaced. 2 of the 3 are broken again. Not sure what’s wrong with the upright, again. We don’t even use them heavily, I have cleaners in once every 2 weeks. It’s absurd.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->SEBO any model.
r/VacuumCleaners • What's the best vacuum currently in existence, price not relevant? ->I couldn't afford a $1400 vacuum if I wanted one but Sebo is way more than 1% gains over a "normal" vacuum. They are also repairable which is a huge factor if BIFL - repair your expensive high quality item instead of buying and disposing X cheaper ones. Everyone has to draw their own line at where X is, before they can't justify the expense. But you did not, in your example, meet any BIFL.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->The airstorm, while good, is no better than a miele or sebo. I wouldn't pay the premium. Mieles and sebos are also sealed to trap dust. They are also more modern in design and easier to use (they have cord rewind while the air storm does not). There's nothing really bespoke about the airstorm. Underneath the top shell, the power nozzle is the same as ones avaliable for Miele models. The hose and other tools are generic off-the-shelf supplies etc. While it would probably last you a long time and do a good job, you might resent using it. I'd strongly suggest you try one in person before choosing, and frankly I'd save money and go with a nicer to use miele/sebo.
r/VacuumCleaners • Air Storm Plus HEPA vacuum ->Just get a SEBO or Miele. The last of the good vacuums.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->The telescopic wand on my Sebo keeps losing the clip holding it in place. Ends up in the bag. Sebo is no good for shag carpet.
r/VacuumCleaners • My original Dyson lasted me 19 years. Are Dysons any good still? Or should I switch to a Sebo? Have carpet upstairs and on the stairs. Roomba takes care of the tIle downstairs. ->I didn’t know you had to be rich to buy the $9 pill box they recommend. Or the hundreds of other products they have under $20. Sorry you can’t afford a quality vacuum or other quality products. But don’t be resentful. Instead, I would focus on increasing your income or learn better budgeting. I only make $40,000/year. I use YNAB and have bought many of Wirecutters Top or Upgrade picks, including a Sebo vacuum. You have to choose what things in life that are priorities and worth spending more on. I don’t think it’s a secret—to anyone with a pulse—that quality cost money. Not always, but usually. It’s okay if certain product is not worth spending a premium on for you personally. But saying Wirecutter is for rich people makes you sound poor and ignorant, and that mindset will guarantee you stay poor for the rest of your life.
r/VacuumCleaners • Consumer Reports Reviews of Vacuum Cleaners ->SEBO…. Best Vacuum Cleaner On The Market. 👍👍
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for getting litter pieces out of carpet? ->It’s not. The Only One… SEBO! 😏
r/VacuumCleaners • Why is it so hard to come to a consensus about the best vacuum cleaners? ->Honestly I have hard floors everywhere except my stairs. I own a cheap no name cordless I got on Amazon and a Sebo a friend game me when her parents passed away. The cheap cordless one gets more use because it’s easy- it works exactly the way I need it to when I need it to. It’s been 2 years and it’s going strong. When it breaks, I’ll buy another cheap one. As long as I keep the filter clean, I have zero problems with suction etc. it’s has a beater brush head, height adjustable handle and a few attachments- pretty bare bones. I use the Sebo for cleaning the filter of the other vacuum and for getting my rugs “really” clean when I feel like I need to. One day I may have carpet again or deeper pile rugs and then it will get a lot more use. Until then, the cheap cordless is great!
r/VacuumCleaners • Ive been trying to find a vacuum, I scoured the sub for hours. Conclusion? r/VacuumCleaners hate vacuum cleaners and apparently i should just buy a broom. ->The Miele, Henry, and Sebo vacs are the only ones worth a damn on this list. If you want a real BIFL vac and are willing to shell out, get a Lindhaus.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Did this and the vacuum store recommended Sebo over Miele. Apparently Sebo has a better product warranty and it's easier to order replacement parts. At that price range, there's probably more good vacuum brands than bad ones.
r/CleaningTips • Best vacuum for all floors, pet hair, and heavy duty use that is NOT bulky. ->I am not a vacuum nerd. However I bought a Sebo last year and I cannot imagine a better vacuum. If Meile are better, it can’t be by much.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->I have to agree with this. Returned my V15 because the fluffy brush was not gentle on my less than 2 year old solid hickory wood floors. Bought a Sebo which is gentle on my wood floors as it comes with a nice parquet floor brush.
r/dyson • Best Dyson Stick Vacuum ->I'm a Sebo dude - Sebo is my ride or die However I've always been very impressed a the Shark bagless corded vacuums My mom gifted me one a couple years back and it does a great job Never had any problems
r/VacuumCleaners • Please help me find a good mid/low range vacuum. ->I spend 1200 on a sebo and don't regret it one bit
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->But it for life with either a Sebo or Miele. You’ll spend over $1000 for a good but you’ll never have to buy another vacuum again.
r/homeowners • Best house vacuum ->Real vacuum dealerships will not sell Dyson any longer. Many other traditional brands either because those companies have decided to produce in Asia and change designs super fast. It is the OPPOSITE of sustainability, it is planned obsolescence at an incredible level. Vacs should not be bought online and a big box stores, these machines do not clean carpet/air, are designed to fail, can’t be serviced and are literal fire hazards. Man the stories I can tell you about “brand new” machines. Most were manufactured years before they reached the consumer. CAVEAT EMPTOR. Dealerships sell quality machines, built to last, serviceable, at great competitive prices, with warranties that do not cost extra. You can’t find service like that anywhere! Find a dealer and buy Riccar or Sebo.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->It comes down to wanting something that is built to last, easy to maintain and repair, and buying a brand that stands behind their product. When you buy a Sebo from an authorized dealer, it comes with a 10 year warranty. You can take it to any Sebo dealer and they’ll fix it for free. You don’t get that at a $150 price point. It’s not like 30 years ago when most products were BIFL. If you want something that lasts and has a good warranty, it costs more. If you don’t care if it lasts and you don’t mind replacing it often, spend $150. It’s that simple.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->I’m not a Miele fan either. It’s waaay to echo-chambered around here. I much prefer Sebo.
r/VacuumCleaners • [REVIEW] Miele Vacuums are a joke ->When we bought our Karastan carpet, there was a vacuum recommendation on the website. We already had a Sebo, and weren't about to purchase something else. We also don't have high pile. I previously saw they recommended Soniclean, but for all I know, it could have been a tie-in for financial reasons more than they really thought it was better than anything else.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Vacuum for thick high pile carpet with dogs? ->I was just curious. I'm very happy with my Sebo, thanks. It's like they're trying to say, "if you have to ask you can't afford it." Not a big fan of that attitude.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best bagged vacuum? ->SEBO. Love mine, my sister has had hers for 15+ years.
r/VacuumCleaners • Looking for the Best Vacuum Cleaner that Actually Lasts? ->price of replacement parts is a huge reason i recommend sebo vacuums. every time i have to look up a part for a miele vacuum i already know it’s going to cost 3x-4x what it should.
r/VacuumCleaners • [REVIEW] Miele Vacuums are a joke ->Canisters aren’t better than uprights necessarily, but they tend to be more versatile with hard and mixed flooring. Most uprights have a cleaning head fixed to the machine that can’t be changed to match the flooring you are cleaning. A head with a spinning brush roll isn’t as effective as a head that has a no obstructions (like a brush roll) and a straight air path for hard floors. a cleaning head with a spinning brush roll to agitate is needed for carpets and rugs. On a canister you can change between these two types of cleaning heads to get the most effective cleaning possible. Canisters also leave the bulky pieces of the vacuum behind you, giving you a more nimble lightweight wand and hose to reach into nooks and crannies a bulky upright couldn’t like under beds and furniture or around tight corners. The ELI5 version: Imagine your vacuum has a special “foot” for different floors. Some “feet” have a spinning brush that’s great for carpets, digging out dirt. But that same brush just scatters dirt around on hard floors when it’s spinning or gets in the way when it’s not. Canister vacuums let you change “feet” easily, so you always have the right one. Upright vacuums usually only have the carpet “foot”. Also, canisters are like pulling a little wagon, the heavy part stays behind, so it’s easier to move the hose and get into tight spots. While SEBO and Miele are talked about a ton here, they are premium machines that don’t land in the budget of many people, I say this as a SEBO owner. They’re long lasting and very effective cleaners (buy once cry once). You can absolutely get effective cleaning from a less expensive machine. Your home and needs sounds like the Kenmore 600 series would work really well. It comes with a powered hand tool called the pet powermate that is amazing for furniture and stairs.
r/VacuumCleaners • Explain like I'm five what vacuum to Buy? ->The advantage to something like a Sebo, and to a slightly lesser extent Miele, is that you are buying a product that has exceptional build quality and is highly repairable should the need arise.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for allergies? Does it really need to cost $1300? ->Yup, these original Dyson's were incredibly reliable for the most part. I think the first one in my family lasted close to 14 years before it finally died. The second was about 12-13 years old as well. Dyson's are not bad today, they just are not that good anymore, and not as reliable. For reliability you're definitely going to want a Sebo or Miele.
r/VacuumCleaners • My original Dyson lasted me 19 years. Are Dysons any good still? Or should I switch to a Sebo? Have carpet upstairs and on the stairs. Roomba takes care of the tIle downstairs. ->Get a Sebo. Literally any Sebo.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Sebo. Had mine 25 years and all its needed is a new brush head.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->Sebo. It’s the new Electrolux. I went from electrolux (40 years of service, inherited from my mom) which was amazing, to a Miele (20 years of service, inherited from step mom) to a Dyson Animal. The Dyson lasted 12 years before I got sick of it. I bought a Sebo! I’m 58 and I won’t need another vacuum before I die.
r/homeowners • Best (cost/performance) vacuum cleaner? ->Sebo. The suck on it. Phowar
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->Exactly. I got a Sebo and the bag takes months before it starts to get filled enough to impact the suction. And can easily go another month before it is that filled that it needs replacing.
r/VacuumCleaners • Do you recommend the bagless Miele vacuum cleaners if I have dust mite allergy? ->I have a Sebo and really like it, but just generally would recommend a bagged vacuum over a bagless upright. They seem convenient, but after years of using a dyson, it's so NICE to throw the bag of stinky (I have a golden retriever XD) dog hair into the trash and not have it funking up the whole vacuum, forever. Completely pulling apart and having it professionally serviced never got all the doggy smell out of the dyson. Newer dysons are also absolute junk compared to a dyson from 10-15 years ago.
r/samoyeds • Ok fellow Samoyed owners, what vacuum do you use? ->Yes, bagless is seen as more economical and more environmental friendly. Although the environmental friendly argument falls apart because it's better to own a bagged sebo vacuum for 10+ years than it is to keep replacing a crappy bagless vacuum every three to four years. I'm not a fan of buying bags, but the sebo cleans better than every other vacuum I've tried. It's also convenient to just throw away a bag as well.
r/VacuumCleaners • Why Are Bagged Vacuums Making a Comeback? ->I cannot overstate how much I love my Sebo. Does great on tile, wood, and carpet. Lightweight, effective, and put my Dyson Animal to shame. Does fantastic with dog hair.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for huge house, hardwood + 5000 sqft rug/carpet ->I'm a professional cleaner. Shark 100%. Dyson and Sebo do similar but they're more expensive. Sebo has a HEPA filter in it.
r/torties • Vaccume cleaner suggestions SPECIFICALLY for pet hair? ->I have a Sebo. They're made in germany and definitely a buy it for life item. Mine has a 10 year warranty and can be services at your local vacuum store. I use mine basically every day.
r/torties • Vaccume cleaner suggestions SPECIFICALLY for pet hair? ->Our Sebo pulls malamute hair out of carpet. Absolutely worth it. Also has dual hepa rated filters.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->I love our SEBO. They work well and the lower end ones are not super pricey.
r/homeowners • Best house vacuum ->Sebo or Miele. Getting embedded sand out of carpet is all about suction power. Cordless vacs just don't have enough power.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for getting litter pieces out of carpet? ->I just asked about how often I’d be buying bags for a sebo with two high shedding large dogs, (similar probably too a gsd and 3 (if long hair cats) I would probably be replacing the bag every week. (Actually more than that because I didn’t tell people I also have 3 cats haha) Someone with a husky commented that they replace the bag 1.5-2 times a month. Calculating that cost for two dogs is another 210 a year in bags (probably more for me) I am taking that into account with replacing a vacuum that died (Dyson) but it doesn’t have a bag or a Sebo that has a 10 year warranty but I will have probably bought 2-3 dysons in that time period with the amount I’d be spending on bags. I haven’t decided yet 🙃 but thought I’d share the numbers.
r/VacuumCleaners • Need recommendations for a decent vacuum cleaner ->A Sebo could survive longer. I've seen Sebos go through tons of shit and still perform like new. Not to trash on Miele, Miele's are great vacuums, and I would recommend them. But a Sebo is blowing the Miele out of the water with durability in a commercial setting.
r/BuyItForLife • I analyzed the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on reddit ->Look, I love Kenmore, but they are expensive to repair and they no longer make my roller brush. The 2 brushes I did buy were $200. I could’ve bought a Sebo for the price of the vacuum and two roller brushes. Sebo vacuums are cheaper to repair and just better all around.
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for pet hair in 2025? Need something that actually sucks (in a good way) ->Do you have a dealer nearby? go try them, Sebo for the win in my book, I had so many issues with Miele during covid and for few years after, parting out hoses and wands to other companies
r/VacuumCleaners • What is the best BIFL vacuum cleaner ->Those Sebo and Miele vacuums last fucking forever so there ya go.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt? ->Sebo and Miele are BIFL. Dyson is not BIFL. If you buy a Sebo, the manual comes with an exploded parts diagram where you can buy each and every part. Dyson does not have this because when something breaks, they want you to buy a new vacuum. Same goes for Shark, Bissell and other bagless garbage that people keep recommending.
r/BuyItForLife • These are the most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (r/VacuumCleaners VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->My Sebo has been going without problems for 20 years now
