"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"

"The filter is clogged light has been on for years though (yes I’ve replaced the filter several times)"
"The replacement filters are literally sheets you have to cut yourself and are so much thinner than the initial filters that come with the main unit."
"I have to vacuum the filters every couple weeks. ... So, while they do collect a ton of dust, the maintenance and replacement is a pain."
I'm a big Shark fan - customer service is superb and they will send replacement parts or whole new appliances if parts aren't available. Great design (for access to clean/blockages etc.) and well built I think I've got the same Pet model and would replace it with same if it failed in an instant
r/UKFrugal • Decent, inexpensive vacuum cleaner needed. ->I don't recommend shark. We bought it, it's alright, but we still use our corded shark for the heavy lifting.
r/AskUK • What cordless vacuum cleaners are actually worth buying, but don’t break the bank? ->My Shark Pet was on offer £149. it's pathetic now. Got a Screwfix Titan builders one. noisy as anything, bought a better pole/brush off ebay and it's amazing. £48 in total.
r/UKFrugal • Decent, inexpensive vacuum cleaner needed. ->I have a Shark with the Lift-Away function
r/housekeeping • What vacuum do you use on carpeted stairs? I’m tired of balancing my vacuum on each step while using the attachments. One day I’m going to break my neck. Are handheld vacuums with brush rollers any good? ->I love our Shark LiftAway. We got it from Costco three years ago and it still runs like it’s brand new. I do fully clean the canister and filter once every 4-6 weeks depending on weather.
r/Newfoundlander • Vacuum Recommendations? ->Well,I did it. I walked into a vacuum cleaner store and repair shop just to see this Sebo upright people refer to. I had already ordered a Kenmore BU4050 based on reviews although I have never seen one. I've been through every vacuum type imaginable in the last - ahem - 40 years. Starting with Electrolux canister on glider rails, a family hand-me-down. Dirt Devil tiny little canister. Hoover upright, Sanitaire commercial upright, Miele stick vac with removable handheld dustbuster thing, Miele canister. Had a Dyson V5 for when the canister was too heavy to pull out. Shark Navigator Pet upright - nimble, easy to use, went under bed - I liked it for a long time but slider for floor type change got stuck and it all those plastic parts got a little rickety. I learned: While cordless is quick and easy, it's also weak suction. Sanitair upright cleaned well on carpet but no accessories. Dysons are pretty colored plastic but all marketing, hurts my wrist, went through 2 batteries, just top heavy, and poor suction. Miele corded stick vacuum had very strong suction but was too heavy and center of mass is midway up so awkward unless you are very strong and was not self standing. Miele canister is great but all those accessories take up a lot of space and I'm over moving canisters around and banging the wall. Bagless was good as a novelty but so messy - the vacuum itself attracted dust and emptying always led to some dust on me. So I wanted a bagged, corded, self-standing, upright that had a low center of gravity, was nimble, no too heavy, and could go under the bed. Even though the sales guy was enthusiastic and informative but not pushy, the Sebo Felix sold itself. I bought the Sebo Felix even though I wasn't going there to buy, just see it. It does every thing I want and is much quieter. 10 year warranty, locally serviced by "Onyx" dealer \[that's what they call official dealers\], give loaner vacs if it takes more than 3 days. The store has been there 26 years, first the father and now the son owns it. They repair every brand of vacuum but only sell Sebo, Miele, and some in-the-wall systems. When I think of all the money I've spend on vacuums .... The good ones were Electrolux, Miele, Sanitaire, and for a while the Shark impressed me. Now I hope the Sebo will be my last vacuum. $700 US, price goes up $200 on September 25 due to tariffs. Dealer said he's sold 17 of them this month from special orders I will return the Kenmore BU4050 unopened when it arrives.
r/VacuumCleaners • Here's why you should buy a Sebo ->Corded Shark, I got my second one after 10 years. We have dogs, cats and kids. It does very well, would recommend.
r/CostcoCanada • Any reviews on Shark vacuums? ->I am having the same issue. I bought a shark lift away which I loved for 2 months then the latch broke so front brush roll won't stay in. Since then I've bought 3 other vacuums and none of them pich up dust or dog hair. I need an affordable vacuum that will work on hard floors that will suck up pet hair and dust. In the past I had a Tineco vacuum mop and I agree with the comment on the smell and mine didn't pick up anything very well. I have long haired dogs and I need something that works. Plus I'm on a fixed income so I can't pay $700 for a vacuum. I'm at a loss
r/VacuumCleaners • What's best vacuum for hardwood floors? ->I have a corded Shark. It sucks... but in a good way.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->It also picks up more than my old corded Shark (that I absolutely hated, but that’s neither here nor there I suppose) but people say corded is more powerful and I just think it really depends on what machine you’ve got with a battery and what machine you’ve got with a plug 🤷🏻
r/VacuumCleaners • best cordless vacuum that actually has strong suction? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
