Classic Upright Pet Vacuum NV602UKT

Ours is an NV602UKT. We've got two hairy dogs and it's great for hard floors, or carpet (switch on the handle). Gets the hair up fantastically well. We did have a problem with a motor running the main roller, but the machine is modular, so you can buy the sections you need from Shark without attempting to rip it apart and doing more damage. Also great for stairs as various bits detach as you choose so you don't need to haul the whole things around. Downside.... It's pretty damn heavy.

Relatives keep giving me out of warranty stuff to clean/unclog. I had a NV602UK to unclogg and untangle as the roller kept getting stuck, the roller part was hard to take apart. Torx screws with security bits are a bit burdensome, but that could have been on some vax's that I were unclogging at the same time.

I had both at the same time ironically. Ended up selling Henry, the shark is still in my house now 4 years later. I love it so much. No bags, easier to maneuver mostly, easier to store, no fishing accidental swallowed items through bags, easy floor type control and suction control, and best of all, my Shark really does handle pet hair with ease. I prefer a corded vacuum in this line of work - making sure to have enough charged batteries every day sounds like too much of a hassle to me. My favorite vacuum is the Shark True Pet. It has a great lift away function so you can easily vacuum underneath furniture. It is also user friendly enough that I can handle any maintenance issues.

Not entirely true. We have the shark pet vac, bag-less. We’ve had it for 9 years now and no issues!
