I like the Shark Duet and have 2 labs
I’ve had two of the lift aways both bought at Costco and both had the no tangle roller current one is the performance lift away Duo Clean great vacuum and was $299 on sale. My wife is very OCD about her vacuuming and she loves this one! Absolutely hated the Dyson, refused to even use it I had to just sell it😂
we got our shark duo in 2017 and has never had an issue its our sole vacuum for 2 story home, if you've trashed 6 I think it's probably you breaking them somehow? I keep wanting a nicer vacuum but this one won't die.
Canister vacuum all the way. I used to have an old kenmore that I bought used. You need to get one with a power head for carpets and a hardfloor attachment. Or I have a shark now where the power head can be used for both. The only time this type of vacuum is a pain is when you are doing a house that's fully carpet, because it's a pull behind vacuum you need to kick it beind you as you exit the room.
Fully agree with this. Shark Duoclean Liftaway is all I'll ever buy. That Bissell and similar style vacuums are terrible on anything but high pile carpet
I have a shark lift away duo clean. And can highly recommend it. Had a Dyson I’d bought in the nineties and that thing sucked the Parket of the Floor. It is still going strong so I gave it to my kid moving out. Consequently I looked into a new Dyson and boy has it fallen since being sold to investors. This shark has been a great alternative. Easy to use and keep clean, and most importantly great results on carpets.
New shark user here, mostly hardwood and lvt I mh house an the duo head works really well, even up against thd edges of the kitchen units. It's better than my Miele corded machine in that respect.
I got a Dyson Light Ball around a decade ago. Idk exactly when, can’t remember but it’s whenever the Light Ball first came out. I clean the filters monthly and it still works like a dream. I also have a Shark Duo something or other, it’s the Shark with the soft brush roll in addition to the regular brush roll. If I go over my carpet with the Shark and then immediately follow it with the Dyson, the Dyson picks up more in the second pass than the Shark did in the first So I just use my Shark for my hard floors and the Dyson for my carpet, since the Shark is better for hard floors due to the soft brush roll I think a **corded** Dyson is very well worth it
For my hard floors, I use a shark duoclean. It has a regular brush roll, but in front of that it has a soft, kinda fuzzy brush roll. It picks up crumbs, dirt, and dust like a champ Unfortunately, it’s not under $200 new but you could likely find a lightly used one for that cost
I have a Shark Duo that eats Border Collie hair. Retired my 25 year old Miele cat and dog. It would clog in 20 seconds.
I have a shark duo, similar to the navigator. I find it to be a superior vacuum for its cost. And I like the fact that it has a cord, because I can vacuum my whole dang house without it running out of battery.
