I have a shark cordless pet. It works great, but I would recommend getting the pet pro, because it has rubber fins instead of bristles, and that's the only thing I don't like about mine. Two adults with long hair and two cats with long hair in this house and the shark one for animals does brilliantly. Never gets clogged like all my previous hoovers did and it came with two batteries so I can just switch them out without having to stop and wait for one to charge.

Wir haben auch einen Shark. Die Autoentleerung ist ein Träumchen! Und was der an Katzenhaaren aus dem Teppich bekommt ist erstaunlich! Ein wenig nervig finde ich nur, dass er nicht super gut in Ecken kommt. Aber das ist zu verschmerzen, dann muss man halt dafür am Ende nochmal Aufsatz wechseln.

I got mine from Mitre 10 and managed to get the price match and then additional 15% off deal, so was down to ~$270. Sharks rate pretty highly on the Goldie FB group (vacuum recommendations are a common topic!) I couldn't afford/justify a Dyson, so didn't look into models and can't comment on if they are worth the price increase..
