YES! I used to have a big-ass Bissel corded vacuum. I *never* vacuumed. Dragging that out and trying to find an open outlet in my 100-yr old home was beyond a hassle. I just wore socks and used my feet like swiffers. Mind you we have a dog and two cats, one of whom is long haired. So the dust bunnies were \*insane\*. I got a cheap old Roomba off FB but it would get stuck everywhere, not dock properly, the dust bin would be full in 5 minutes, etc. It ended up being work too. This year I got a Shark cordless and it's a game changer. The top comes off so it can be handheld, it has a light on it so I can see all the crud on the floor, charges quickly, battery lasts a long time, and has had NO issues with the pet hair or my long hairs getting wrapped around the roller thingy. I vacuum whenever needed now, whether a deep full-house clean, or a "I wasn't looking where I was putting the flour bag and now it looks like Casper vaporized in my kitchen" types of one-off messes. I super recommend 3 things for a cordless upright: 1. Bagless with a 1-button empty. Hold over trash, empty. EZ-PZ 2. Anti-hair wrap roller/bristles/whatever. The more you have to take it apart and *clean the thing that's supposed to clean*, the less likely you'll be to do it. 3. Ability to stand on its own. It's so nice to prop it up for a second while I bend down and move something out of the way!

We are liking our shark iz102. While its suction power isnt high, the beater bar is what makes it work. I like that the beater bar doesn't have bristles which caused a lot of hair tangles.

Validation here - I’m 6’ and my doctor and physical therapist have both blamed my height for facets of my notable back pain - same goes for my sister similar height. Sorry to those taller who struggle more, but it’s a struggle all around. I have a purple cordless stick shark vacuum that isn’t the best quality wise but the flexibility of it helped me more than a corded more standard shape.

I have a cordless Shark stick vacuum for use with pets, and it works well. It was about $200. I have no idea if it differs much from a Dyson, but it is less expensive, which makes a difference in some instances.

Yes! I got the shark pet and now I when I see dirt, I just vacuum instead of dreading it and not doing it because the corded vacuum was so annoying. Cordless doesn’t have as much suction as corded, but using it more often seems like a good trade off.

Two adults with long hair and two cats with long hair in this house and the shark one for animals does brilliantly. Never gets clogged like all my previous hoovers did and it came with two batteries so I can just switch them out without having to stop and wait for one to charge.

We use a Shark Pet cordless which seems to be ok most of the time re: sucking up rugs. There is a low-suction setting which seems to work. It's very light weight and easy to handle. It's on sale this week at T\*\*get for less than $200.

Yes. We bought a shark and it's the best thing we've ever gotten haha.

I agree! I don't have to deal with a bulky vacuum and I can use different parts to get around the baseboards and stuff.

We bought the pet one. We have three animals. It also has a pull up button for stronger suction. I love this thing so much. Haha
