The Shark lift away Navigator professional is my favorite vacuum of all time. I bought a refurbished one 10 years ago, and it's still going strong. The clips that hold the dust bin on broke so my hubby put a bungee cord on to hold it down. He bought me the Shark Stratus to replace it, but I'm still using it until it dies. The Stratus is really good, too, but I love the Navigator more. It maneuvers so much better. My husband even uses it as a shop vac when he does drywall work around the house. I'm just really meticulous changing out the filters and cleaning it regularly.
This is the one I have, I got it several years ago: https://a.co/d/7EkjFue
This is what we have, I think ours is technically the upgraded "pro" version, but they're all basically the same. They've survived 3 corgis and a kid. Highly recommend.
I second this one. I've had one for 5 and it's used ALOT, is still alive and very much kicking
Yep, I have 2 of these. There is great replacement parts support on Amazon and it is a very reasonable substitute for a professional backpack vacuum when you use the lift-off feature.
If you want a simple vac that will last you a view years just get a [Shark Navigator](https://amzn.to/4pTnl6x) off Amazon. It’s in your price range and will work great
everyone will probobly argue about this but the shark navigator pro i got refurbished for 69 bucks and has been going strong for 8 years now with zero issues. wash filters and thats it
100% would recommend. I have NEVER and I mean NEVER used another vacuum that even comes close to the suction power that dyson has. I got the one linked below two years ago (or very very similar) - yes it was around the same price and I would buy it again and again. The only issue I would say is make sure your rug is firmly stuck to the floor because it WILL suck it up. It's that powerful. I've tried multiple shark professional vacs and rainbow E2. They simply do not compare. When using the wand it will pull everything up to a 1 foot radius around it. Perfect for animal hair and very easy to keep clean with a washable filter. I have a lot of pets and I really like my Shark Professional.
Shark does as good for way less money.
Be that as it may, I had four long haired beauties and that Shark was super efficient, not only on the carpets but the cat trees as well. And I didn't need a home equity line of credit to get it. LOL
I love my Shark Lift Away Pro! It is 12 years old and still cleaning like a new one! I also run a Roomba daily - it only catches surface dirt, but really helps cut down on the cat fur embedded in the rug.
