I got a shark rocket impact pet pro cordless refurbished from the Shark store on eBay for $129.99 that I’ve been using in a 2 bedroom with mostly laminate floors to supplement the Q Revo and it’s been great. The Q Revo robot also mops - the place is really clean (one dog) - lake property, rural and lots of sand / dirt / gravel.
I loved mine for 2 months too. I was hoping it was a fluke that it stopped sucking at the hand device itself. Seemed to be overheating? Not sure if the battery/power area is just too small? It would shut off over and over and no longer suction. After reading reviews this is a common problem. Pro's: The head doesn't clog which is great, the container it empty's to is great and it is lightweight and easy to maneuver. Con's: Broke in less than 2 months of LIGHT use. Storage on head is super small, you may have to dump multiple times throughout cleaning. When dumping over a trash can, head is positioned so that it dumps and gets dirt everywhere. Tried multiple ways and still was messy.
I bought a cordless shark rocket and I HATE it.
i totally get your struggle. after my reno, i picked up the [shark rocket cordless](https://oklookup.com/review/shark-rocket-cordless-vacuum/) . honestly, it’s been pretty solid. like, it handles both hardwood and tile without needing to switch heads, which is a lifesaver. the suction stays strong for a good while too, even on larger areas. but, it does get a bit heavy if you’re vacuuming for too long, and the dust bin fills up quick. still, for daily cleaning, it’s been a game changer for me. i’d say give it a shot, but maybe check out a few others like dyson too, just in case.
I love my Shark Pet Plus. I used to have a Dyson (don't remember which model) but it was always clogging up, so I decided to try a Shark. Easy to empty and does a great job on both carpet and hard wood. I have recommended it to several people, who have also purchased. I think my only complaint is it is little large and heavy for carpeted stairs, so I have a cheap-o, lightweight stick vacuum for that.
Another thing I just remembered that I love about the Shark is the light on the front. I actually often vacuum in the dark lol because it highlights the dirt and dust that you can't see in normal light.
Bought the cordless pet model from Costco. It's been great. For low pile rugs and hardwood it's fine. You can order a second battery off of Amazon so you're never without a charge. I like that the battery is removable vs integrated like many other cordless brands. You can't really go wrong for the price and it's costco so you're good if it's not what you're expecting!
