Ultra-durable, 10-year warranty, but expensive with short cord.

Running these analyses costs money. Buy through my links to help keep lights on! I may get a small commission.
Not OP, but I’ll second that. I have an older version of this one. We also run a robo vacuum a few times a week for a base level of cleaning. Our girl is a corgi heeler mix and she sheds like crazy. https://www.sharkclean.com/products/shark-rocket-pro-corded-stick-vacuum-zidHV370C?utm_source=GOOGLE&utm_medium=cpla&utm_campaign=Shark_DTC_CordedStick_Upright_Shopping_Brand_Google&utm_adgroup=Corded&utm_content=corded-stick&utm_term=PRODUCT_GROUP&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20643268788&gclid=Cj0KCQjwnovFBhDnARIsAO4V7mA-kuub8HFrGKvvsYZL0KDEV3XxVCg5p2jn9N7PSFUkPQ_N259Ltf4aApdPEALw_wcB
I’ve had a Shark corded stick vacuum for 6 years now and it’s held up to a cardigan and 2 cats
The shark one I gave a link for in a different comment isn’t heavy at all! I have a bissel as well and it works great but is heavy and I find it awkward to use compared to the shark
hey, i totally get the struggle. i had a cheap vacuum too, and it was just a pain. i’ve been using the [shark rocket pro](https://oklookup.com/review/shark-rocket-pro-vacuum/) lately and honestly, it’s been pretty solid. super light, which is great for those stairs you mentioned, and it has a detachable handheld feature that makes cleaning easier. the dust bin is decent too, but it can fill up kinda quick, so you gotta empty it often. just a bit annoying, but overall it’s been a good investment. the others you listed are alright but this one's been my go-to. good luck!
I have two vacuums: I bought the Shark Rocket Pro, coded, have no regrets. Cord is silly long, I’ve really abused it for its size and it comes back for more. Only downfall? Not enough attachments. So I ordered generics from Amazon, and it’s made it a 10/10 vacuum for my application. The second is a Bissell cleanview. Don’t hate it. It’s just way too large (exactly why I got a second, cord is short and holding it while doing steps was dangerous imo) and the power head was very disappointing for pet hair pick up. It also has a silly amount of filters to clean. It’s great for hard floors though.
I'd avoid cordless stick vacuums because they can only run for 10-15 minutes on high, so you'd run into a lot of run time issues. I think a corded stick vacuum might be your best option if you are walking or using public transport to jobs. There aren't a lot of great options but I'd probably choose a Shark Rocket HV300C or HV370C. It's not the most durable but it's corded so you won't have run time limits. I'd avoid the Shark Ultralight and Shark PowerDetect because they have much smaller bins and a triangle where dirt gets stuck inside the bin. If you are using a car, I'd definitely look for better corded vacuums like a Sebo Felix. One mobile cleaner uses a foldable shopping cart so they are able to fit a larger vacuum like a Kenmore Intuition. What do you think?
I have a few ideas: 1. Small corded shoulder vacuum. Oreck compact canister, Hoover Portapower, or Simplicity S100. These are small bagged canister vacuums that you must hold or use a shoulder strap. Suction-only so they're good on hard floors, just ok on rugs/carpets, no carpet powerhead. 2. A corded stick vacuum. Shark Rocket or similar. Many have carpet powerheads. Not the most durable vacuums. Bagless maintenance required means regularly washing the filters. 3. A small upright vacuum. Kenmore Intuition. It's a small bagged upright vacuum. It's as narrow as a cordless stick vacuum. The liftaway mode means you can separate the pieces for travel. It's lightweight but also not the most durable vacuum. The Kenmore Intuition is the most capable vacuum cleaner for hard floors and carpets of these options but also the takes up the most space on your cart. What do you think?
Same! Have one of the Sharks and I vacuum much more frequently now that it's not such a process. It's also so slim that I don't have to move as much furniture, so im more likely to get under chairs and tables.
Shark Rocket PRO, it's the pet model that another commenter mentioned, with an extra suction option. I have two short-haired but high-shed pups and it does a good job. Really the only furniture I occasionally move is our recliner, and thats more because my grandfather eats in it and stuff falls around it. Everything else is like I nudge it out the way a little to get the dog hair drifts and thats it.
