The Shark ZU102 Rotator Pet corded bagless upright meets your requirements. It has hair detangling technology, HEPA filtration, powerful and adjustable suction, odor neutralizing technology, large 2.9 liter bin capacity, works well on carpets and hard floors, and the price is right.

Shark, specifically the pet uprights. My long haired cat moults like crazy and our Shark upright will pick up everything out of the carpet, and the sofas and chairs with the attachments. Also helps when the humans moult; two people with thyroid issues constantly shedding long hair live here too. My cat-owning friends have bought Shark hoovers. Henry was alright but I hate his silly face and he constantly tipped over when I used it. The combo of the two just infuriated me!

Downstairs, all hardwood, we have a roomba and a shark robot. Both run daily. When we vacuum we have a Dyson ball. All of them are full every day. Upstairs is all carpet and we use a Shark upright for pets. Works great, we vacuum every two days or so. It’s always full. All of them require regular cleaning and maintenance. Not sure if there’s a one size fits all solution.

I have an older Shark Rotator Pet upright corded vacuum and love it. If it broke today, I would replace it tomorrrow. I don't trust cordless models at all - none of them are still going to be good as new 10 years from now. I wouldn't spend extra for a Dyson knowing how well mine has worked. I have always had at least 2 cats and it's a workhorse. I would probably pay extra for the ones that claim (human) hair doesn't get caught in the brush (as someone with medium to long hair) who really hates to clean the brush.

I have the Shark Rotator and really like it. It’s the white one with red trim

I've had my shark rotator vacuum for 7 years and it still picks up like it did when it was new, with 2 long haired women, 3 dogs and 2 cats in the house.

All sharks have hoses and their suction power is better than Dyson IMO. But the one I like best is the shark rotater. It comes apart to glide under furniture, beds, etc. Does carpet and bare floors. Hope this helps

I had a shark rotator then got the shark stratos pet xl. It has fins instead of bristles. The stratos did have less roller tangles, but the Rotator gets way more hair out of the carpet even though it is several years older.
