"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"

"it seemed like one of the best options for an anti tangle brush I wouldn't need to cut dog hair out of"
"I’ve found the narwal tangle free brush solution to be excellent. ... Yes with my daughters long hair and constantly shedding Rottweilers the narwal is the first that hasn’t died or become too much hassle within the first year"
"My Freo Z never has this problem."

"Been using them for about four years working out in my gym, and cycling daily (45+ minutes on a bicycle outdoors)."
"I even washed them accidentally and still worked perfectly fine afterwards."
"I still have the Kirby my grandma bought brand new in 1970."

"So many little design choices to make it easy to pull apart and clean or get to tight spots or even just manage the cable as you're moving around the house."
"the ability to lift off the canister and just use that is really useful."
"it can come apart in a canister configuration as well as upright."

"The bigger issue is that the paths are not as tight and overlapping. ... When I look at the cleaning paths with the MOVA On the tightest setting with the max number of passes (x3) It has nowhere near the coverage of the qrevos and the carpet is not clean. ... The Revos get really tight around legs while the MOVA barely tries to approach. ... Both my Qrevos are much quieter than the p10 ultra and actually leave the carpets looking clean."
"It's just very bad performance when it comes to vacuuming. ... This has been the same performance since day 1 with original brush also. ... It seems the suction is not as close to the floor as it should be. ... My budget eufy L60 can pick up this debris with no issue on deeper carpet. ... This is the most basic requirement of any vacuum."
"Hair Pickup on carpet is better than the S7 MaxV but still worse than the Neato D7. ... I confirmed this by running the S7 Max V first (with rubber brush), on my upstairs carpeted room - that I purposely haven't vacuumed in a week. S7 Max V barely got anything and had some wrapped around the edges - as it does. ... For me yes but I say that mostly because of the tangle free vacuuming of pet hair and the improved hair pickup on carpets. I was tired of cleaning out the old one and so far with this I have zero tangles. ... The S7 MaxV had the worst hair pickup on carpets, with the stock rubber brush, of all the bots I ever owned. Tangles were minimal but it didn't do well taking hair off the carpets (it did great on the hardwood/tile though). Swapping out the rubber to the bristle brush improved the pickup but increased the tangle problem - it also created a problem with auto-empty for me a few times. ... It mops/vacuums significantly better than my S7 MaxV. Especially on carpets (especially especially pulling dog hair off carpets). ... That being said I LOVE the anti-tangle brush. 3 Months and I haven't had to clean the brush one time. It's literally perfect for me."

"There is so much weight on the bottom hinge that it eventually gives way. ... Don't expect longevity. ... It was broken by 2023. ... Whatever you do, DO NOT buy the Shark Lift Away models. They are absolutely terrible in longevity, being built with cheap plastic parts at the bottom hinges, which will break in a few years. ... It is very poorly designed in that section. ... Longevity is awful. ... The problem is the weight of the canister/motor on the bottom hinge in the lift-away and other similar designs. You'd expect they would have used metal hinges to take some 15 lbs of equipment weight on it. But when it finally broke, I was shocked to see that it was all plastic. The floor and carpet attachment are now useless."
"the latch broke so front brush roll won't stay in"
I don't recommend shark. We bought it, it's alright, but we still use our corded shark for the heavy lifting.
r/AskUK • What cordless vacuum cleaners are actually worth buying, but don’t break the bank? ->I have a Shark with the Lift-Away function
r/housekeeping • What vacuum do you use on carpeted stairs? I’m tired of balancing my vacuum on each step while using the attachments. One day I’m going to break my neck. Are handheld vacuums with brush rollers any good? ->I love our Shark LiftAway. We got it from Costco three years ago and it still runs like it’s brand new. I do fully clean the canister and filter once every 4-6 weeks depending on weather.
r/Newfoundlander • Vacuum Recommendations? ->I have the Shark Rotator and really like it. It’s the white one with red trim
r/CatAdvice • Can someone recommend me some a good vacuum to buy that can actually handle my 3 cats hair?! ->Corded Shark, I got my second one after 10 years. We have dogs, cats and kids. It does very well, would recommend.
r/CostcoCanada • Any reviews on Shark vacuums? ->I have a few Shark vacuums... powered lift away for big stuff and two ultracyclone pet pro hand vacuums for smaller stuff. I've tried others and my big one has been working well for over 10 years! The two hand vacuums, well I have two because the batteries don't last for long but they work well otherwise. Hence why I have two.
r/torties • Vaccume cleaner suggestions SPECIFICALLY for pet hair? ->I am having the same issue. I bought a shark lift away which I loved for 2 months then the latch broke so front brush roll won't stay in. Since then I've bought 3 other vacuums and none of them pich up dust or dog hair. I need an affordable vacuum that will work on hard floors that will suck up pet hair and dust. In the past I had a Tineco vacuum mop and I agree with the comment on the smell and mine didn't pick up anything very well. I have long haired dogs and I need something that works. Plus I'm on a fixed income so I can't pay $700 for a vacuum. I'm at a loss
r/VacuumCleaners • What's best vacuum for hardwood floors? ->I have a corded Shark. It sucks... but in a good way.
r/AskUK • What is the best hoover brand that you have had/experienced? ->It also picks up more than my old corded Shark (that I absolutely hated, but that’s neither here nor there I suppose) but people say corded is more powerful and I just think it really depends on what machine you’ve got with a battery and what machine you’ve got with a plug 🤷🏻
r/VacuumCleaners • best cordless vacuum that actually has strong suction? ->We have a shark with lift away, excellent for stairs. Had it 7 years now, pretty shit at picking up now and thinking of replacement. Goes well from hardwood to carpet etc,
r/AskUK • Which hoover would you choose and why? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
